  1. Here is a list of quests that give smithing xp too, in case you want some less boring experience. Maybe smith some, then do a quest. Good luck! 2. Yes that is where it is. And they fixed it, yesterday it was having problems.
  3. Thanks Just some side info, only you can see your own Runescape in game time. You can not see anyone else's, and they cannot see your's.
  4. As said above, any type of Ancients magiks would just kill in the XP, but also in cost (millions of gp). Stringing ammies I hear is good xp, although I don't know the cost or xp exactly. You could always try fire bolting/waving iron/steel dragons for slower xp. But I don't think it's nearly as costly as ancients, plus there is always the chance of a dragon drop/visage. If you want to know how I got to 99 magic, it was through waving at iron dragons and high alching. Slower, but saved me some cash in the end. Good luck!
  5. Aha! Thank you so much! Running in DX mode seems to tear images. Now that I put it in OpenGL, it runs flawlessly. Thank you so much!
  6. Is the pineapple thing daily?
  7. No it doesn't change it when I play on minimum graphics.
  8. This may be more appropriate over with the tech guys, if so a mod can move it. Well when I logged on tonight my Runescape mapped looked all weird. At first it caught me off guard, so I walked around to a new loading area, which loaded a new map. This seemed to fix it but then it started happening again, and now anywhere I load a new map, there is extreme image tearing. To the point that my in game map is unusable. I can still play the game, because I know where everything is, but this is extremely annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it? ~Thanks in advance Here are some pics. Maximize to see detail of my map problem. [hide] [/hide]
  9. Well, come on. If they had Runefest a few blocks away from you, all the London people would rage. The only solution would be to have it on Antarctica, where everyone would be mad (albeit not equally mad) FYI, I'm not going  They need to have the next one on Antarctica. I would totally go to that one.
  10. I still wouldn't have gone if they were free from the get go. I'm not flying from California to Great Britain, and paying for hotel. If I lived there, then I would have considered buying a ticket, but alas, I don't. *Moves on in life*
  11. You make a good point. Just because magic hasn't been giving a KO tool yet, they have things such as freezing opponents. What's the point of having D Claws if you can't even get to your opponent. Yeah they can protect magic, but that only works so much, just as protect melee does versus the claws.
  12. Neither team has healer = humbling every class. I remember those matches haha..
  13. Jagex's feeble attempts to hide easter eggs will always be thwarted. MUHAHAHAHHA. Yeah...
  14. Far out, really? Why the hell are people complaining about mage being overpowered then, it still has very little KO potential because of the removal of spell stacking, with its only redeeming feature being cool effects like freezing. Yeah spell stacking has been gone for a while I heard too. It would be interesting to see some type of magic KO opportunity. Although they do not have a KO, magic can deal some heavy damage with damage increasers, overtime...
  15. We will all look like asylum inmates. Ftw.
  16. Yeah well I can only use a gorgonite weapon, so a gorgonite spear then? Thanks. I am trying that clan chat but it seems like there are no smithers in there right now, maybe later though..
  17. This has probably already been asked, but what is the best type of dungeoneering weapon? I heard it's the spear because it has all the attack types. Also, where can I find someone that can smith me a gorgonite weapon?
  18. People are overreacting. I seriously doubt someone is going to look you up, come to your house and rape/burn/kill you because you had a flame war with them on some World of Warcraft forums. Either way, I don't play WoW, and this is never coming to Runescape anyway because of Jagex's policy. If it did though, I would still play. I don't mind if people know my real name.
  19. Both Tip.it and the Runescape Knowledge Base have it as 15% damage.
  20. Try picking the lowest ping world you can find and see if you still have lag.
  21. What are ways to increase magic damage? I already know of the staff of light (15% damage), ahrim's staff (10%), ancient staff (10%), and the dugeoneering rewards (necklaces, staff, and prayer). Here are a few questions I have though. Does mage void actually have damage increase? Does mystic might (The prayer) have magic damage bonus, or is it just increased accuracy? What other items or things increase magic damage? What can be stacked and what can't? Like do the staff and necklace from dungeoneering work together, etc. Thanks so much! I know it's a lot of questions, but I am really curious.
  22. There's like 6 spots that are N/A because of Dugeoneering...Most of the info is there otherwise. Anyway, wow a lot of people have level 99's lol.
  23. I heard somewhere that there was 135 million accounts created, and counting (This was a while ago, and I assume is much higher by now). And somewhere around 10 million accounts log in every month (I feel this is fairly accurate). Still, I could be wrong, and I don't have a source. I just thought I remember reading that somewhere on Runescape.com a while back.
  24. The Xbox 360 has some great exclusives, and the PS3 has a few great exclusives as well. Online features, XBL wins, but you pay for it. Personally, I would rather take the free PSN though (Yes I know they are making PSN Plus, but you can keep regular PSN and still play online free, which is what I care about). The huge gripe that I have about the 360 vs the PS3 is proprietary everything. The 360 has proprieary written all over it. If you want to get anything for it, you have to buy Microsoft's hardware. Power supply cable (With ugly heavy powerbrick, bleeeh), video out (Although the new 360 has HDMI I think), HDD, no bluetooth, etc. That is just one thing that tipped me towards the PS3. It takes a standard Computer PSU cable, standard 2.5in HDD that is replaceable and loads cheaper to buy per GB relative to the 360 HDD, bluetooth, USB connector for controllers, etc. After that, it really just comes down to personal preference of games. I don't play games too much, and most of the games I get on are multiple consoles anyway. They just look slightly better on the PS3 in my opinion. Oh, and the PS3 [slim] looks way more smexy then the new and old 360. Plus it's dead silent, especially when playing games. Pfft who even uses disc trays anymore, slot loading is way awesomer.
