Fire cape compromise. New post by Mod Chris L.
Yes. Get a few people doing it, and unless you pay 100% attention, that person is dead. Why would anyone want to do that? It isn't like it would benefit them and they would get the drops (Because they won't)...I guess some people are just jerks.

I have an idea for the new skill.
I hope they don't put space travel in RuneScape. That would be, um, ridiculous. They might as well add time travel too, and maybe a Delorean. That would be heavy...

Item Duping
I think we learned what Jagex does about stuff like this when the Pink Phat dupe happened. Most likely, they will just let the price flow how it is going to flow.

Would you still play if runescape was Class Based?
I just like being able to do whatever I want to do, whenever I want to do it. If I feel like mining, slashing something with a sword, using a bow, or maybe firing a mage spell, I can. There is no limitations like in Guild Wars or WoW, which I like. I think it fits RuneScape rather well, but that could be just because that is how I have always known it. If RuneScape had always been class based, then I probably would have liked it. People seem to like what they know, and don't like what they don't know. Not all the time though...

Item Flipping
If I am looking into an item for buying or selling, then I will go check the graph. Depending on what it is, I might wait, or buy right away. I don't spend my days searching the G.E. though for potential items to flip. I look out more for when I will need certain items.

Just to play Runescape? That seems like too much of a pain to me.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Hey you do have to admit though, a good sized portion of F2P's are immature...NOT saying all of them are. Just a lot of them.

Dragon crossbow soon?
It will probably be a while. I hope mage gets more updates. Jagex has seem to started to forget about them less. :thumbup:

TzHaar City - The Rebirth?
Wow everytime I read something about prices of items, I have to go look them up on the GE for myself. Prices these days are ridiculous...Inflation sucks.

Been away for a year...What 99?
You could try woodcutting. If you get the diary for Seer's/Camelot area, you can get a reward that gives you a chance of getting two maple logs I think. Sort of like the Varrock Armor does for mining. Make you enjoy the skill though, don't want to think of it as a chore. I will tell you, if you go about it like that, you will be disappointed when you do get 99. But if you have fun along the way it will be fun when you get 99 too.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
I know right? :lol: Gahh, what's up with jewelry nowadays? All of them are so freaking expensive. Now even CRAFTING is starting to become impossible to train. >.< Yeah diamonds are like 16k? Sapphires 2k? I mean, Wtf is that about... :roll:

Aviansies....What happened?
~~~~ I gathered my gear and went for a test. NO! The bar drops are not nerfed at all. I see you said you wore Ring of Wealth. This explains your bar drops being less than good. Ring of Wealth works to give you a better chance at getting a "rare" drop. Noted Addy Bars from aviansies are "not" a "rare" drop, so, ring of wealth will limit these drops in favor of rare drops. I and many of my friends and friends clans use Archers Ring at Aviansies and enjoy many more bar drops than lost souls relying on a ROW. I sincerely hope this helps you get the drops you want. (remember ROW for RARES not commons) ~Shawn http://forum.tip.it/topic/257235-ring-of-wealth/ I'm pretty sure that the ROW does not affect normal drop rates.
droids versus clones
I don't know if any of you guys watch Star Wars The Clone Wars (TV Cartoon Series) that has been on Cartoon Network. But in there, the Separatists have come up with some pretty awesome droids. Assassin droids, spy droids, etc. But on an army level, Super Battle Droids have given the Clones a fight. They combine heavy armor, accuracy, strength, and really only lack agility. Course, there is still not as many of them compared to regular battle droids. I don't know why they even still built them once they had Super Battle droids, which are superior. Even if they had less droids, it would have made more sense to only build Super Battle Droids. Regular idiotic battle droids suck, but that is not to say that there have been droids that can easily take out clones (and if any of you watch the new TV series, there are a few droids that can almost match Jedi).
70+ magic
I have gotten to level 96 so far by high alchemy mostly. And I plan to get 99 soon enough with high alching. It's fast XP. Also, I wait for addy rock respawns while I alch, which helps a little bit with the cost. I am F2P right now, so members have other options to do while alching, such as farming. Good luck.
More worlds?
Wouldn't that make it almost impossible for some people to do things such as runite mining? I mean, it is very difficult to get a rock in the first place, but when you have a lot of people being able to switch worlds in basically just a few seconds...the competition would become far too much I think. That's just one example. I know that world hopping is a pain, but I think Jagex probably knows what they are doing.
Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Wasn't much of a hint, rather than a sentence saying there will be a summoning update this week lol. Still, you never know what else they might release with it. I seem to more appreciative of the little things they throw in with the bigger content updates. Such as the stuff they do in the "In other news" section. Could be because that is where F2P gets most of the few updates they do, but the little things add up.
More worlds?
As someone already said in this thread, I would rather just have more places for all that stuff. Instead of having more worlds that is. World hopping is kind of a pain.
Whatshould i use my experience lamps on
Prayer and Herblore are somewhat the same in that you need to hit a "critical level" until you gain any real benefit (of course, for prayer you get the "benefit" of extra prayer points, but they really don't make a difference). Although still, xp is xp, and it's less xp you have to gain later. I'd still spend it on Herblore, although at a low level, I suppose it's debateable. Yes the do make quite the difference. The higher prayer level you have, the more prayer points you start out with. Also, when you drink prayer potions, you get *more* out of each does because it is something like 1/3 of your prayer level per dose is the amount of points you restore.
Yeah, that is true. I know Herb does have some uses, but I personally believe prayer is a heck of a lot more useful.
long to train? it earns like 250k-300k xp/hour i say go for herblore, roughly as expensive as prayer, but much slower to train that or summoning/slayer/runecrafting if money isnt a problem for you I said it is expensive OR takes long to train. If you are willing to pay for it, then you can gain the XP fairly quickly. If you do not buy the bones, there is no way to earn 250k XP an hour. Even if you are the one who got all the bones and you use them on an alter, you had to spend all the time gathering the bones.
Prayer by far. It's either very expensive, or takes very long to train. Also, it is really helpful! The higher prayer you have, the better off you will be.
