1-2 years? Omg I got that thing like every other day lol (before the random update). OT: My most annoying moment was probably when I got ready to go to iron dragons and everything. Drank some antifire pot and then realized I had a rune defender... Quickly I went to the bank, tele'd and ran all the way back with my backup armor to try and save my stuff from my gravestone. Only to realize I had forgotten my antifire shield again...and I died again... :mellow:

I assume from the point of view of the leaders of said clans think they do more good than harm. But for the rest of the people who follow after them usually end up losing big time. If you want to invest, do the research yourself on the G.E., it's not that hard to look at some graphs..

Just because everyone uses/has something doesn't make it good. And I am not critiquing them for using flash, I am just saying that there are better choices. My main point is that flash does a horrible job at allocating resources, but there are rare cases when the designer does an extremely good job in flash. Guess we'll find out if this developer is one of em!

There are no gnomes in GW2, either. The Asura were in Guild Wars: Eye of the North (technically GW1) and are more like teddy bears. And they don't use technology. They prefer the ordered sciences of alchemy and golemancy as opposed to the chaotic arcanes like fire, air, wind and earth. They are essentially the highest order of mages. The technology oriented race in GW2 is the Charr who shunned religion and ancestor worship in order to move forward. They have guns, tanks, factories, and such. The Asura's only real technology is the Gate system which is magic anyways. All of their golems and flying cities and whatnot is magic. If you are looking for a WoW comparison the Asura would be the blood elves and the Sylvari would be the Night Elves. Thanks for clarifying that! :thumbsup:

Seeing as how the game was developed by a 3rd party developer - it would be highly unlikely that Jagex would give up their RuneTek engine without a large licensing fee - therefore the developer used Flash. They used flash? Flash is so stupid. There are many better choices for gaming. Heck, everything else that flash can do, something else can do better. Flash just runs like crap. :mellow: I mean, ever heard of "Flash: 99% Bad?" EDIT: ooo I now has 999 posts.

Actually there are a few less than 171. It skips some worlds like 63, 101, and a few others. I remember in the old Runescape world choosing mechanism you could change your URL and go to worlds where almost no one was. They have since changed that.

Bad luck mate. Could always post on the RSOF in a mod thread, but chances are low that a mod can or even has time to help. There are just so many freaking players that a mod can't listen to every single complaint sadly. Hopefully your bug report will prevent further happenings of this in the future though.

Yeah but aren't they like "techy" gnomes? Kinda different. I like how now since it's like a few hundred years after the original GW, they have some new tech and can go anywhere they want with the story. The original GW storyline was good about halfway through, then it just got stupid. :rolleyes:

I concur. I just finished an AP economics class and still have pretty much no clue about stocks and such. I mean, yes I get the whole supply/demand thing, but I would probably need some college level classes on how to properly deal with stocks. Manipulation would play a large role if this was ever instituted.

You could try armored zombies. Pros: Epic XP, decent drops, can pray as there is an alter right there. Cons: Sometimes crowded. If you look into it, drop by the player made guides. Someone over there has an excellent guide. Good luck.

Hm I always prayed when I melee'd, but when you range all you need are antifire pots and a shield. Prayer just makes it easier for me, it seems like the task goes faster but I don't really know if it does lol. Plus I don't have to worry about ever dieing. Good luck.

I remember the penguin quests you get to use a submarine. So maybe after you do that quest or something you receive plans or permission to make your own submarine. That'd be really cool, as Jagex already has some underwater stuff.

So many threads on items crashing... Probably it's a combination of some merchanters taking advantage of the end of winter break when many people go back to school. Oh well I'm F2P so..

Kind of off topic, but you actually can play Runescape on the iphone/itouch. Google it. Worked for me. I wouldn't mind someone making a Runescape helping app. Could be useful in boring times on the road.
