I don't see it happening. I do believe Jagex said it would be more towards the middle of the year. It's not even April yet...Plus, I think that the Easter event would become lost in the new skill. They are probably prepping for the Easter event right now. Who would want to launch a new skill and a holiday event within two weeks? Seems a little too far fetched to me.

Yeah, that could be, I was also thinking it could be due to HD. Although I dont consider my geforce 8600GTS to be outdated tbh :P On an unrelated note, I have the same graphics card as you. :) More on topic, that is very strange...I have never seen anything like that before. Agreed. The mask is complete crap. It is only for looks (if you like the looks of it) or for extremely low levels.

In one of the recent Q&A's one of the mods stated the fact that the new client will be able to run Runescape without using java. So what would it use...? I know they have ported Runescape to other things such as Direct X (They said they had been a few years ago, I don't know if they finished though)...but that would be for something like the Xbox. (PC can run DX though so hmm) Why would they not use Java on a game that is built around Java? Also, I don't know if that's what you implied but that's what I got from your post, that Jagex was going to use a different language.

So I have 57 agility, and want to get it higher during the Bonus XP weekend because I really hate training this skill. Thus, I want to go quickly through it. Where should I train for the best XP? Also, I have already decided I don't want to take the risk in the wilderness, so what do you suggest? ~Thanks in advance.

To the first article: It seems like Jagex says in every single QnA that they really need to do something about the advertisements. But they never do, they have been talking about it for several months... The second article: I love the lobby/new login system. The advertisement doesn't bother me much, even when I was F2P (I just got members back last week).

Yeah so I have a measly 53 farming. I would like to train it up, as it is one of my lowest skills. I don't care about how fast I gain the XP, but I would like to make some money along the way. Any ideas? ~Thanks in advance. Any other advice pertaining to farming is also appreciated.

Well after years of trying to reach my goal (Yes I am slow at training), I finally got 99 mage! :smile: I don't really think it deserves a whole topic in the rate it forum, so I'll just let it get lost here in the pictures thread lol. :razz: Woo!

I'm sure whatever they did, they made it fair. It isn't like they would start giving people less or more XP for what was given in the past. And btw you can hit a 117, 22, etc.

I don't care about the logic. I will still completely flip out everytime I see a red 82 on my character XD. But seriously, I like this update. Just takes a little getting used to.

I knew the first and second, but the last one is news to me. I knew the XP you get in PvP was based off of your opponents combat level, but I didn't know that it was for PvM too..

First of all. 266 people are reading thread! O.O Secondly, I really like this Constitution thing. It goes more along the line of having health, instead of hit points, if that makes any sense. Fits a lot more into the MMO aspect of the game if you ask me. Really awesome Jagex!

Yes or just record the XP difference from the hits and figure out which hit was which. I don't have a Saradomin Sword anymore though. And now that Tip.it does have the same special attack information (5-16) in both the item and combat guides, I don't really care anymore. I assume this could be locked if a mod feels the need be. Whatever they think.

Interesting...will definitely be taking advantage of this! But what to spend the time training is the question. Hmmm....

Yeah I have always liked the sound of Runescape, and especially the tunes. There is definetely room for improvement though. I would love to see a large amount of more advanced sound effects (Someone in the Q&A mentioned swords clanking on armor). Music-wise, I think the music being producing now doesn't have the potential to get much better, because all they said is basically they aren't going to change anything as not to offend the "nostalgia" for veteran players. If you guys aren't going to change the music at all, at least add some decent sound effects!

Pessimist or realist? I repeat, explain the world today. Heck, if you are more comfortable, explain RS today. It has been COMPLETELY changed from the beginning. How many of those changes have been in response to scanners, hackers, and cheaters? Agree with everything you said. Took the words right out of my mouth. :thumbup:
