  1. What is the force logout timer? I was on for just under 6 hours and it kicked me back to the login screen. Just wondering if that is what other people report? Thanks in advance.
  2. Maybe he is F2P? I don't know if he is but I am, so I alch. Also, do you have any data to show that it is indeed faster and cheaper, thus more efficient? If you don't have data can anyone else second this? Just wondering.
  3. If you're referring to the Orb, unless it's been publicly stated, don't expect it to be F2p. It has been. Ooo I hope you speak the truth!
  4. Ooooo nice trip! And don't worry about it, some mod will be happy to move it for ya.
  5. I second this. I got 600k magic xp on Saturday from alching. Over the course of 7-7.5 hours, about 75-80k XP an hour is what I got. Good luck.
  6. http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/2410/t1416152-runescape-screenshot-gallery-cxxix/11.htm (PureStealth) So I guess it's like a backup plan in Runescape? It's run off Java so I wonder if it's along the lines of throwing an exception or something. I am not sure, as I am just a beginner in Java programming. By the way, in Java, null means:
  7. I'm just glad F2P is getting an update this week. Seems like we haven't gotten one in forever (other than the holiday events). Looking forward to it!
  8. Excellent articles. The first one was kind of humorous, and also informative. Second one brought up some nice points, although I personally don't believe that Runescape content has suffered from other projects. They do a great job of balancing between free to play, members, quests, minigames, skillers, slayers, and PVP just to name a few. If I had to decide what update to work on next for a game that millions are yelling at me to do something different, I think I'd go insane.
  9. Does anyone know if Jagex has clarified whether this orb will be a member's only item/feature?
  10. I'll tell you, Jagex sure know's how to mess with it's players. It seems everytime they come out with a clue it's even more twisted then the last one.
  11. Is it me or does MMG look pretty buff in his videos?
  12. Haha I remember reading about that guy. He spends like 5 grand a year or something on subscription fees alone for WoW. O.o OT: Cool tips, I just use a single 23 in monitor though. It suffices. I haven't really played Runescape in a while though, and I usually play it to mess around anyway. Not hardcore or anything lol.
  13. [hide] By the way, 60% of all statistics are made up 90% of the time.[/hide]
  14. So did this happen on only P2P worlds? Or are their accounts of F2P worlds too? If it's a teaser to a future update and the teaser was on F2P worlds too, I hope the update itself is F2P. It would suck to make a teaser on F2P worlds for a P2P update.. Either way, very interesting.
  15. I agree 100% with everything you said. Sadly it is bad that so many have sent relief efforts in the way of donations, but even when it gets to Haiti, it just isn't getting to the people who need it fast enough. If you go I wish you luck.
  16. Did you know that 4/5 scientists agree that 72% of statistics are made up? I always thought it was 60% of all statistics are made up 90% of the time, but I guess yours works too
  17. So is this a civilization knockoff that has been turned into multiplayer? That's what it looks like..at least graphics-wise. Haven't really played it too much myself.
  18. It ended for me already. I don't really play that much anymore, but for some reason I really like talking about it and other stuff on these forums.
  19. Ok thanks for clarifying that. That itself is not too bad. At least I can do private for free.
  20. Wait to chat you have to pay? Did I hear this right...? ...I mean, really...
  21. Ah so now we know how to get Jagex's attention. Just say you are going to commit suicide. And then when the police come, say, "Yeah so um I have a message for the people that called you. Can you tell them to fix PVP and bring back unlimited trade limit? kthnxbai" On a more serious note, I am kinda glad they look after their players. It's nice to know.
  22. Well not almost as powerful. The scale is a base 10 logarithmic scale, which means a 7.0 earthquake is 10 times as much as a 6.0. Mk. Guess the 6.1 was nothing then...I still assume it would interrupt aid efforts.
  23. Man talk about bad luck...no one deserves to be hit by an earthquake, let alone another aftershock almost as powerful.
  24. [hide] Something about Jcredits.... Like I said, it's pretty ironic. So will little Timmy get banned because he bought gold off a site and got scammed by the gold seller and then went to the media about it? Probably not, because in this case people don't even have to leave the website to buy items. And, Jagex IS the gold seller in this case, so they probably won't scam their "customers." Jagex embraced RWT after years of fighting it. It is just another way of making money to support the game, RuneScape and FunOrb have membership, here they sell gold. Also, RWT means sweatshops en credit card fraud. [/hide] Yeah if you read my other post I did say it was a legitimate, but ironic for Jagex to make money via an online game
