Why won't he need that defensive for slayer? Is it because of summoning/enhanced excalibur/prayer?

Barrows has the best defensive stats in the game. If you want something with prayer, just use Prossy or Veracs. Really the only other set of armor that would be useful that you do not have is bandos, but even then, I personally believe barrows is better. It is definitely a lot better for the money. If you have 60 mil why not try getting magic/prayer up. Just a suggestion.

You could try maging metal dragons. Fire spells hit hard on them and they give decent magic XP. It also gives some HP XP, and the chance of some decent drops/clues. Make sure to bring alching runess too, and a staff of light (as well as arcane stream necklace if you have one).

Yes farm! Basically you can balance between fast XP and making money. Personally, I take the slower XP while coins breed in my bank. For me, this includes picking fruit trees, herbs (whatever it is, you will most likely make money), and flower patches (usually limps). As for super compost, I buy the 40 pineapples a day from the general store in Catherby for only 2 GP each. These work great for making your own super compost at a fraction of the price of buying on the GE.

Yeah that can significantly change the amount of money you can get. I switch off between maples, fishing, and mining, depending on what I think I will get the best profit at that time. Sometimes it is hard to judge though.

Imo just play FOG and get the robes yourself. Of course, I really enjoy that game so that's what I would do.

I'm just going off the G.E. graph here...but hold onto it for a while longer. As with all new items, it is sky rocketing. It will eventually crash though. So everyday you hold onto it you take a risk that it will crash, but also that it will go even further up in price (went something like 750K+ today). The staff of light came close to doubling in price from it's release price(10m, crashed at around 19m), so that's a good example of how to know when to sell new high priced items I personally believe. In the end, it's up to you, but I would hold onto it for a while longer.

I believe battle robes last for around 14-15 hours. Somewhere in there. Oh, and make sure to use a staff of light. Increased damage + saves close to 50% of runes combined with battle robes + high magic bonus. Good luck.

From what I hear void range gear is very good. Always use broad bolts on slayer tasks. Use a Staff of Light while slayering, as the extra damage is useful, and it saves a couple of runes too. Unless your using slayer dart, I don't know if the sol can do that.
