I don't see why not I guess. Personally, I would never reach 99 HP anyway, so this wouldn't really affect me. Seems like it would be a good update for the people that it would affect.

I can't even remember the last time I went onto the RSOF. And I think the last time was because I was linked there by a J-mod. So I could really care less. I don't post on RSOF, I post here because the community is so much more welcoming and friendly relative to RSOF...

Bank update looks nice. I always seemed to like the gameplay tweaks more than content updates like quests, minigames, etc. There is already plenty of content for me, so I like it when they make the current gameplay better.

You should at least be farming avantoes, not toadflax. Well, that's what makes more sense to me I guess. Each their own. I definitely agree with the Scroll of Life. It's so worth it!

Ankous drop decent drops in P2P, and cockroach soldiers as well. If you are going to kill ankous, try to get a salve amulet from the quest. I would try out slayer though if I were you with a combination of some quests. Whatever you do, make sure to have some fun. :)

In my opinion: Wrong. Probably heavily weighted on because of my religious beliefs, but that's just what I believe. I also believe in NOT persecuting or attacking those people though; it is still their choice, regardless of what I believe.

That's absolutely 110% useless. I still have to refresh my email page every 30 seconds to see if I've gotten an email? Why couldn't I just refresh the GE page on Runescape.com? It helps if you use something like Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail, etc. They post little messages showing updated emails.

Yeah I saw that when he posted it on XKCD. I thought it was pretty funny, playing hunt for random communities on the internet to see if they were on the map.

So uh...I'm not exactly sure what the discussion was meant to be.. But I guess I will give it a shot. I do not like firemaking or woodcutting, or any of those types of boring skills (unless I am watching a TV show/movie, then I can handle it). I am with you that I try to have as much fun as I can, but let me tell you: I find it a lot more fun that I, in my own eyes, have achieved some decent levels. Although sometimes leveling these skills was boring, I find that the reward made it worth it to me and I got more fun in the end then if I had just messed around the entire time. My two cents.

So I fixed it by changing "http://www.runescape.com/game.ws?j=1" to "http://www.runescape.com/game.ws?j=2" in the URL bar. I have no idea why it worked or why I tried to change it. That is very weird.

Java didn't change so there is no need to reinstall that. I also get the same error in Google Chrome. I get the error page after I click on the play now button. It chills at checking for updates at 1%. When I delete the cache it loads the game code up to 100%, and then tries to check for updates (which is where it fails at 1%).

Well I was in the middle of the Halloween event when the 10 min update counter started. I went to the home page, and they said that some people were having trouble logging in, so they were updating. I thought this wouldn't affect me, as I was already playing. It is now well after the update, and I keep getting this. Ironic much? I have already deleted my cache, and am still getting the error. Any ideas?

Hm looks interesting. I still miss the old RuneScape homepages though...oh nostalgia... *sigh*

Well I have no idea what anyone is talking about, I assume it's from the new grandmaster quest. Can someone explain to me what this new sword is?
