  1. It's called 'scandinavian hunks'. Go watch them or google it if you're into that stuff  Might cost you a pretty penny though. I heard they do appearances outside of scandinavia.
  2. If something unexpected hits, say your close family member, parent, brother... Like a totally unexpected hurricane, non-inherited brain disorder/disease, would you simply agree it's a way of "population control" instead of trying to find out every single way to prevent it? You know, those people hit by "population control" have lives just as valuable as yours, with friends and families and futures. If they can be saved, it's the highest possible good. Once again, I don't know why you are pointing this towards me by saying things like "have lives just as valuable as yours." I made it very clear that I am not making a personal point. If you think that saving people no matter what is the highest possible good - great! I'm not arguing that. Just giving some thought out there that you can choose to agree with or disagree with. Neither am I making a personal point. I'm wondering if you accept it as 'population control'.

  4. Glad to see somebody agrees. 8-) Shame they're not available in supermarkets yet though. I was being sarcastic. Not sure if you could tell based on your response. I am pretty sure he was. No, I did not see it. :? . Too bad it is Tip.it :P Wait. Take note everyone. For the first time in his life, darkie picked up on internet sarcasm! Hurrah! You know I love you darkie. Three cheers for darkie!   Psst... Don't cheer yet, because it wasn't sarcasm.. They should be sold, wholesale for a discount.. And in walmarts..

  6. HEHE Are you hinting at what i think you're hinting at? :-s :-s Yeah, I wanted to see new lipsticks too, but the censorship here is pretty tough. Would've been nice though.
  7. Yeah, why bother creating medicine that can save peoples lives. Why bother creating anything that helps with taking care of your self or curing yourself of disease. We should just live all natrualy without any of this medicinal stuff. Honestly dude. And anyways, if the fetus is already aborted why not use it for something useful, instead of just throwing it away? Just to answer your question in a different way... a lot of environmental ethicists are claiming the problems with our environment stem from population problems and would be more easily fixable if we quit trying to cure natural population reducers. The well-being of our planet is ultimately, of course, the well being of humanity. And would you agree that it is o.k. if your close relative, parent or brother died because of an unexpected brain disorder/disease (which is not inherited and can happen to anybody) and accept it as a 'natural population reducer'? You know, those people would most likely do anything to survive. If the woman donor donated out of her free will, I don't see a problem.
  8. Assuming they had 'insight' from a God. Many other religions believe so too. That's not a valid scientific nor a historic argument. The catholic church pardoned Copernicus for his therories, nearly 300 hundreds after he died, around in the 1990's.

Source? If you read or watch BBC news, you'd know he has at least 60% support in Venezuela. I doubt he let paid the trips for 10% of the countrys population (if such numbers of venezuelans even exist abroad). Fuji is a japanese mountain by the way. But Cuba is not a similar style dictatorship as Burma (Myanmar). Fidel Castro has enormous public support, even in other latin american countries. And he should have a reason to hate the US. It has repeatedly tried to occupy the island and conspire against it. Read more about operation northwoods for example. There's no reason to defend one's country just because you are it's citizen. Governments aren't perfect, especially not the american one. Had the war occurred and Cuba been occupied, everybody would ridicule people trying to find out the real motives of the war and say "he started it".
  10. Next to nobody wants to live a poor life on welfare, surrounded by wealthy people and millionaires in one of the richest countries of the world, being stuck on government aid. And not everybody can have a degree. Think if everybody in the US had the highest possible degree available for study. Tens, if not hundreds of millions would end up in a job that doesn't represent their education. You know, not everybody can be a doctor or a lawyer. If everybody was, who would be their clients and customers? Would they be doctors and lawyers too? Some illegal immigrants will, as I said, take jobs people born in America wouldn't even think about taking like scrubbing toilets. Yet they have a chance to save up some money, maybe invest some of it, get promoted, and have a better life. I'd say a very small minority really wants to live their whole lives poor while seeing everybody else succeed (financially).

And what does that mean nowadays? I think you're not familiar with economic sanctions. It's the only working threat the UN has. All of it's members adhere to it on the penalty of being kicked out of the UN themselves, which means the country would have to start smuggling goods. Yes, if the UN's relations with a single country worsen enough, like in the case of Iraq in the 1990's, they will propose economic sanctions. Which basically means, other UN countries can't legally ship goods in the country. (Such as currently, no member state can export *anything* to North Korea, and recently even luxury goods were prohibited) Fiji is an island state. Make your conclusions, even if their nearest neighbors (and especially Australia) condemned the coup and there would be no free elections, their economy would be crippled if they can't export and import goods. Australia is not dependent on Fiji. Fiji is dependent on Australia.

There's a thing called election observers. Thousands of them enter a country to observe the elections. Should they not be let in their relations with all other countries will be worse and they could even face sanctions from the UN. Such as in Venezuela, Chavez (though he rose into power legitimately) has won the elections now what, 5-6 times? And they have been declared as entirely legit. Burma is a very different exception and they never did promise elections anyway.
  13. I can relate. I despise welfare. I'm not saying some people don't use it correctly, but some just use it to buy uneeded things. For example, I remember this kid who had gotten $2000 welfare, so what did he do with it you ask? He went out and bought a $1000 pair of shoes!! Garhh!! That makes me angry, because that's my parents well earned money. Given to these lazy people who can't work and earn a living like everyone else. You should not be buying these kinds of things unless you deserve them!! This is one reason I don't agree with Democrats, because they support higher welfare. :XD: I don't know how a kid got $2k welfare, but he's dumb if he spent half of it on some sneakers. They should be rather handed food coupons and other stuff non-exchangeable for money if they're caught doing that. It's not that simple. You pay less rent for your house if it was built by illegal immigrants, because the building costs were less. You pay less for some products because illegal immigrants may have produced them. If they really were an economic threat, they'd arrest all millions of them and send them back to Mexico. They're not. They will do jobs some american people wont even accept. They are an economic benefit.

It's a coup, and it does have public support. The 'democratically elected' government was extremely corrupt. Besides, it has been only temporarily replaced. In fact the general promised earlier elections than the former Prime Minister, similar to Thailand's coup. Neither of those two coups have any "scary" aspect to them because a big part of the public thinks the government was too corrupt (and the Thai PM no longer holds his job either)
  15. The deficit is caused because: I don't see anywhere being said the money is just shoved in front of them, they use the same services as other americans do (they *are* humans with needs). The $2.7k per household is clearly caused because they work below minimum wage. How do you expect them to earn more, say $40k a year like an average american?
  16. Technology news are most of the time pretty irrelevant, so I don't really frequent those sites. I do occassionally check slashdot.org though. Sure, if that stuff interests you, but I do get kind of bored reading new system specs and clock speeds of a thousand gadgets and upcoming improvements to those gadgets. If it's important, it will be on mainstream media as well, such as newspapers. And as said, you guys will post it anyways. 8-)
  17. The graphics are quite... OpenGL library, if you know the term. Some of the screenshots do look nice though, but overall it has a bit of a sloppy feeling to it. Can't judge it before trying it, so I'll put it on my download list and try it later.
  18. Possible, but man, would I had wept blood in his situation as well. Having those cards and still losing $120M. Still, he (Le Chiffre)'s not a very good player because he must've knew Bond knows he has at least a full house, the fat guy and the japanese one had at least flush, and Bond still kept betting and went all-in.

    Hence the 'fight experience'.

15 years later his gang is the major drug exporting power in central america and he is the main boss. Now wearing a violet fur coat with a gold chain and sunglasses though. Let's get the movie rights for this one? Anyways, since you insist it's not a gang, you guys could call yourself the "clan", preferably with a k. Don't wonder why people will be beating you up though. You'll get some fight experience.
  21. I'd say you're slightly off. The russians in AW are extremely discriminating against all foreigners, the mods hated me just based on my IP even though I can speak russian. I quit the game ages ago when a mod locked me in jail for 30 mins for *no* apparent reason (just because I was training in the same place and taking some of the XP) and I got fed up. Well; I only played for a total of maybe 5 hours over a span of a week so no big deal.

    Poker?

As you probably figured out, PartyPoker has a "18+" sign on the site. I do know huge amounts of people like 16 and 17 that do play, and I couldn't care less. If I had a 13 year old kid (your age), I would definitely let him play for fake money on PartyPoker. You'll have to ask your parents if they agree though. If they don't, theoretically you can't play the game. Too true. But fortunately there *are* some 'real' players on PP on the play money tables that do play sensibly. You'll just have to find those tables, and leave the ones where everyone always blinds $10k even with crappy cards.

    Poker?

Theoretically, you can't play even for fun if you're under 18. Practically, nobody takes it seriously. There are millions of underage poker players, just because they're 17 for example is not going to stop them. This is a case of ridiculous rules when it comes to play money. If you don't gamble anything, it should be allowed even for a 5 year old. They *do* sell chocolate cigarettes to children too, and nobody's blaming them for trying to get kids hooked on tobacco. Most reliable sites use a client for playing, it does improves the security and trusthworthiness of the site. You could try poker at yahoo.com, they should still have online versions. I remember people are jerks there though, they just go all-in with every single hand, and when they run out of cash, daddy yahoo fills up their purses and they repeat. That way you have no way of knowing who has good hands and who hasn't. Everybody just goes all-in, hoping their cards beat the river, which is ridiculously dumb. That's not poker, go check out if they still do that...
  24. I researched the claims of your post and it's true, but it will be never possible with the stereotypical "time machine" though. It would be impossible to go to a point before it's creation.
