Amen, ban turkey (don't capitalise it, that's a country!). The 'meat' is very plain and if it's wet, it's just...Weird. Just switch to a thanksgiving steak. That line is making me curious.. Triceratops meat, I figure, would be tasty.

But nobody loved you. As for insane, we are planning a flower parade with chocolate-honey confetti, trumpets and french horns. Bonus for hailing from the awesome nation of scots though 8-)

What does 'njet' mean? :?Sorry, assumed by the text in your sig that you knew at least some Russian... Lol, indeed. I'll give you a hint, da It's bulgarian, which is quite similar anyways, but 'njet' (or nyet) means simply 'no'. 8-) Learn russian, it's a cool language. And some people get intimidated because you talk russian to them in an angry tone, even if you cite a children's poem about the honeyland bears. It still sounds neat. Anyways, wow, nice thread. Sadly I'm not there. To relieve my pain, I'll just add "hug" to all of your names. Even if that includes some mean people.

Hey you! Whats the weather like over there?!

It seems I fail at life, I'll just stop making those posts because nobody gets them. But no, I don't live in Russia nor have ever lived there, I visited Siberia though and believe me you don't want to spend more time there than necessary (especially if you're born there) The coldness is like nothing you have experienced. Without proper clothing (about 5 sweaters) you *will* freeze to death in a matter of minutes, and then again most people use a car. Edit: added picture. You pretty much can't even see where you're walking, but maps are in common use. -
mind explaining that pretty biased statement? Alright: Sometimes people say or type something which isn't true to elicit laughter from the listener or reader. Unfortunately, this arrow of humour sometimes flies straight over the head of the intended recipient. Ahh...i see. ok sorry then i guess :? He just mentioned that as a random fact from Kids Miscelannia 2005, it still doesn't change your pansiness because you put sugar in your tea. Tea itself is pansy. It's like the upper class trying to have equally as much fun as the working classes who chug beer, except they're nervous and raise their pinky fingers and have all sorts of weird rules for drinking it. Ridiculous. You don't have rules for drinking a beverage. Excuse me mrs. Civilised E. Tiquette who always looks down on me, if I sip too much of my tea at once or raise it to my lips the wrong way. Life is tough. ..The above is the public american opinion about tea. I don't mind camomille or lemon tea though 8-)

-81 celsius, (or -177 fahrenheit) here in Vostock, Siberia. My mouse just froze so I'll use the tab button to select 'submit'. With a harsh wind, it's colder than the surface of the moon when you step outside. People *do* live in this kind of 'warmths' as well. -
While totally free will, free of any external influences, can be sometimes difficult to achieve, determinism definitely can't play a role outside of behavioral genetics. It's just something for the masses that hope their life was pre-destined to be something. I don't believe it. Your life is what you make of it. Bluetear has the best point. If you take two entirely different persons, they will almost always respond differently to stimuli. Make them both watch clips from a horror movie, the other one will start crying and leave, and the other one will just shrug and regard the clips as 'boring'. It depends on what they have experienced before, not on their conscious behavior, so maybe in that sense you can't have totally 'free will'. Who would really "want" to be a coward? That's right, nobody. You've had bad experiences in your childhood or became scared of something, and it still affects your decisions today. But determinism in a large scale, as in dictating your job, family, everything that happens to you etc. is ridiculous. It is very random and you have full control of what decisions you make, if you have at least a bit of a brain. "Everything happens for a reason" is the biggest load of bs, and even the TV series 'Lost' uses it as a tagline. I guess that's what the masses of people want to believe. But no, everything does not happen for a reason. A child who gets beaten up and is stolen into slavery and eventually dies because of malnutrition at age 8 did not end up so because of "fate", he ended up that way because a greedy bastard stole his life. That's just one example. There are things in life that happen for no reason at all, just because another person wanted it to happen. There are 6.5 billion people, what are the chances of about anything happening? Very possible. Think if only 20,000 people existed? Nothing interesting would happen. People make the world and society into what it is, not the other way around. There's really nothing 'mythical' to it.

..He said anything, which also includes dogs, giraffes and pandas. And beavers, trolls and seal cubs. Hopefully any younger viewers don't get offended by the diet.

What's so good about Seinfeld and it's sub-crappy jokes anyways? If a show needs pre-recorded background laughs, it just reinforces the fact the producers knew they are boring. How many times during an episode of Seinfeld would you laugh without the background laughs?..Exactly, you'd turn the channel. I watched quite a few episodes of it, and this is the average joke. Now, I'll just remove the pre-recorded laugh and present it. -- Person 1. Wow, he just walked through that door. Person 2. Yes, he did. Would you now have a seat and shut up. Person 1. Okay. (silence) (scene switches over) Person 1. Why didn't you show up last night? Person 2. Because if your dumb friends stopped wasting my time, I could actually have time to do something else. Person 3. (Hears the conversation in shock) (silence) ---- Just watch House instead if you want to watch mainstream TV. The stuff the main doctor says are actually witty and sometimes funny. And there's no background laugh that makes you want to stab yourself.

is that sushi? cause if it is, sushi is soooo good! =P~ That's actually lobster marinated in chocolate sauce and paper, but I would agree with the greatness of sushi. Some people even started under-rating it because it's so popular, but really, try it. "Fish in rice" is simply a too plain review.

Fun, useless but nevertheless entertaining fact of the day!

Did you know that by biting together your back teeth really hard, your nervous system connected to your jaw bones can produce a noise of about 35dB-40dB that only you can hear? Try it. -
Same here puls some hot coffee =P~ ..? A pancake can't have salty filling, I think even the Bible mentions it. That's just wrong. You're supposed to put nutella, syrup or marmalade in it. To be honest, that's not even pancake anymore, is it..

Not all religious people are fanatical like that though, but many are. The statement is true, a religion does NOT define morals and who has or doesn't have them. There are priests who molest children, and there are hardline atheists who create shelters for the homeless, donate to charities and help everyone. Then there are equally helpful christians and atheists who murder and rob. But definitely, the most ridiculous argument I've seen is the claim on some forums (including tip.it, if my memory serves me right) that "all morality originates from God". That is too wrong on many levels to start even commenting.

I'm glad you don't get to decide who gets to be a politician. If you know anything about politics or the history of politics, most of the time you do not mention those things in the same paragraph and at the same time try to run an effective country and fend off aggressors. so what you propose is an emotionless jerk who does not care about anything other than what happens on his own country =D> bravo! what a person. No, I'm telling you "emotions" and "politics" don't go together in the same sentence unless you want a huge disaster and fries to go along with that. You are also proposing that all women are gentle and caring, possessing political leadership and charisma while managing to run a country. So far the majority of the female politicians I know are the real heartless b*tches who only care about making a salary in a parliament/congress and feeling powerful. The few female presidents are exceptions, and seem to be quite effective while being friendly at the same time, but then again there aren't really any female presidents in the world with real political power to affect world politics.

#-o And Sikh don't have a single book but rather a collection of philosophies (according to my friend at least)? That's a nice piece of fact as well to know for non-sikhs. So err.. Go cite the ten gurus or something...You defeated me. However it may 'not' be a good idea to post 40 of them daily, people may percieve it somewhat 'spammy'. Fact#73: Did you know Al Gore invented the internet? Some people are just... Amazing. I don't understand the ignorance of some politicians. -

Me i got this I got about 40 of these which i will post each day ok? ...No, that's not ok. Now go back to your room, there's no food for naughty kids this evening. You can come back after you read the Book of Ezekiel, chapter 9 from the Bible and cite it word from word. -

Yeah, it's a very old name. I know some spanish but can't fully make that name into english, it's somewhere along the lines of "the town of our lady the queen ruler of Angeles Porciuncula. ..This thread is quite random though. :P -
Sorry for taking the liberty to edit your quote a bit, but it is absolutely true. That's the real purpose of education, or that's what it should be. There is also a point to logic-is-overrated's message. A lot of current western school systems, especially those funded by the state, are created to make good, obedient tax-payers and instilling them with certain types of views on subjects and politics that will not conflict with the interests of the state. Schools that truly encourage real critical thinking and actions are rare. The era of greek-style philosophical education lounges is dead. If a teacher is arguably wrong, the student could point this out and the teacher would applaud the student for it. Not any more. The point of education is not that you can boast with your "GPA" or how your little Johnny did better in the algebra test than Tommy next door who is now crying because his parents punished him for not reading enough for the exam. The point of education is to make you use your own brains and not always blindly follow orders somebody else is giving you and trying to control your decisions. The point is to make you use your knowledge to your advantage and everybody else's advantage to make the world and your life better.

I never said being fat is 'healthy', I constantly talk about it with some of my friends who have some overweight (some more and some less) since they bring up the subject, especially mid-body overweight can be dangerous to your health. I was commenting on your argument that "fat people are inferior". If you can point out to me why females have by nature about 6-8% higher body fat, obviously relating to the fact that in some point of history women would rather nurture a child than hunt, you can't say "fat is counter productive for survival". I also have personal experience of it since at my gym I've guided heaven knows how many clueless ladies on calculating an accurate body fat percentage with the electrical tool they have there. The result is always about at least 5% higher than for a typical male and some of those women aren't even fat at all.

 CAN you even think of eating that as a human? I'm very tolerous of different cultures and cuisines, but that's going over the top. I've seen a lot in my life, like people eating a tiger's private parts, but that's just... Thanks for giving me a free weapon to shove in front of my friend's face when she's pissing me off. I could eat that post itself. Anyways, sirloin, beef jerky and mignon steaks are awesome, I wonder why nobody mentioned them. And as the above gentleman pointed out, buffalo meat is also one thousand three hundred and thirty-seven times more delicious than the excuse of a 'meat' McDonalds uses in hamburgers.

That's exactly the kind of stuff I ate as a kid, thanks for the nostalgia trip :) How can you hate it? I just don't like the vanilla and chocolate ones. Don't take this as any kind of reference.

??? who wud u get? Stephen King. i checked but no stephen king :S why did u lie to me? Because I thought it was quite clear enough that by searching "Viktorkrum" on google, you would get Viktor Krum. I guess it was difficult to figure out then. Wow, for really no reason that made me actually laugh out loud. Good stuff. ??? what is up with this sarcasm??? u can all rot in hell for all i care, i thought this was a serious forum and who is viktor krum?? You sound like you need a vacation. And Viktor Krum is the fictional character viktorkrum77 based his username on. You can find him in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire if I remember correctly. And yes, this is a 'serious forum'. Fortunately, that dancing man doesn't decide who rots in hell and who doesn't, I wasn't even insulting you.

There's already a thread about it. But yes it's a very interesting game that can get you hooked when you're bored. :)

This topic has a nice odour, but I'd say it still weighs about half a kilo. Out of those options, any 3 depending on your hunger level and quality, though pancakes win most of the time. Toasts rule as well. Yes, I'm racist against waffles.
