That being fat is a sign of being inferior is not only a product of our society, it's a fact of nature. PS. Sup? In different time periods of history, sometimes extremely thin stature has been preferred, whereas in renaissance, thin people would be shunned upon as 'poor' and women would idolise fat men. There isn't really anything to support your claim. The main function of fat is to act as an energy supply in times of emergency, I actually fail to see how historically one would be benefited by being an anorectic in a situation where you live in a snowy wilderness with no civilisation around you, scarce population and even scarcer food supplies, especially if you're a female because then the big guys would even grab all the food. And women themselves do have a higher body fat percentage by nature, which is a remain from those times. I fail to see how they are 'inferior', their genes of being better at converting what you eat into fat kept them alive over the weaker females that had their family line die of extinction.

But one of the definitions of "racism" (forget about the negative connotations) is "the preference of one race over another". Yes, maybe in Titanic it would be unrealistic to have a black or a mexican actor playing the main roles (given the historical inaccuracy), and that's not racism. That's how the movie works. I don't want to watch a documentary about the history of Somalia with all the actors being white. I don't want to watch Dave Chappelle show with a white guy making all the jokes. I don't want to watch Fresh prince of Bel Air with the whole family being white. It ruins the core of the programs. I said you probably didn't look for the word ethic, which was in your post. Ethics have nothing to do with "ethnicity". Ethics are something you start to learn when you're age 3 and you ponder why your parents told you it's not ok to hit your brother in the eye with a hammer or steal candy. And yes, I'm sexually discriminating in that way like most males are, because they prefer 'getting off' with a female rather than a male, though it's not a conscious decision. Though sexism is not the same definition. It does not mean "preferring one sex over another", it means according to Dictionary.com: "attitudes or behavior based on traditional stereotypes of sexual roles." Which is not the same thing as racism. No, I'm not homophobic, I have some plenty of gay/lesbian friends and have no problems with them whatsoever. Why should I? ??? who wud u get? Stephen King. i checked but no stephen king :S why did u lie to me? Because I thought it was quite clear enough that by searching "Viktorkrum" on google, you would get Viktor Krum. I guess it was difficult to figure out then.

"Tipit is a traditional welsh pub game" Hahaha  ..That depends on your opinion of Brazil. If you can afford to post here daily you probably live in Janeiro or Sao Paulo, which are damn rich compared to the rest of the country. :P

Yes, because you prefer one 'race' over another. You may not discriminate, but it's still a form of racism. P.S. I think the word you're looking for is not 'ethic'.

Where did you get the idea that God restricted us to just one place? Aren't you just a bit racist there? I take my liberty of hating martians and calling them 'maggers'. The way they sneeze peeling rust at me in a crowded elevator is untolerable. But if "God" really didn't restrict us, maybe we WILL move to other planets after this one becomes too crowded to live on. We would need to bring quite a lot of technology with us to make the living conditions bearable though.

I'm glad you don't get to decide who gets to be a politician. If you know anything about politics or the history of politics, most of the time you do not mention those things in the same paragraph and at the same time try to run an effective country and fend off aggressors.

I must agree with the above poster, without hair he reminds me of the character Voldemort, too much. If you're not sure who that is, search it up on google and then compare the two pictures. I watched Putin commenting it at the Helsinki EU-Russian summit on a few news channels, he looked very nervous though with no signs of perspiration or anything. I wouldn't say it's beyond belief he would have a stake in either one of the murders. Either way, it's probably not a nice situation to be in. You're in front of the cameras with billions of people going to watch what you say, and you're being directly accused of murder.

??? who wud u get? Stephen King.

You know you played a lot when people start impersonating you in a game forum. I also saw a bank picture, that's awesome. Even if you save up just a few of your rares, you're set for life. If they ever make a full 3D version of Runescape or an entirely new console version that can be played online (where you can transfer your existing character) and you can buy sick looking new weapons, you can buy them all. You just need to trade off 1 rare and boom, you wield "Divine Jagex Sword of Godly Benediction', glowing in fire and flames. Nice 8-)

If you're talking about the US president: Without letting emotion get in the way, sure, but...telling everyone god told him personally to go to war? If there are people who can profit off a lunatic, there will be a lunatic with power. If he is useless, he will live the rest of his life in an insane asylum. Show me ONE other western president who claims God interferes with his politics. He is not from this planet, he is just lucky to have hundreds of millions in campaign contributions and use clever marketers to buy him as much airtime as possible. I also hate it when people say "oh yeah, sure he's not smart, he just graduated from yale rofl". His average was barely C and other than leading a baseball company that he bought with his family's (fathers) money, and became the CEO. His oil drilling company, which gained donations from the Saudi royal family, Spectrum 7 (former Arbusto oil), never found a drop of oil. After his "career", he opted into politics in 1984, but was defeated trying to get into the congress, with his fathers money. In 1994 he finally got elected as the Governor of Texas, with campaign funds that came from his father. This is not a personal flame of Mr. Bush, I just wonder how some people can defend this man and his "career"? What did he actually achieve himself? On top of that, he doesn't even have a basic education in politics. He has a MBa (master of business administration) degree. Even I have that and I don't plan on getting elected. Maybe I should, sadly my family doesn't have all those millions to throw around. Why do people vote for this man?

Skimboarding was invented before your grandparents were born. Maybe you should show more respect and see people have different hobbies, and love them instead of sharing your hate and uncaringness. And no, there aren't hundreds of different boarding sports.

You're also susposed to get good grades. Say's who buddy? I don't see a law that says I have to get good grades? that's funny because i never saw a law saying teenagers are supposed to have fun, hang out with friends, party etc, so how do you know what you are supposed to do? Partying and drinking alcohol isn't necessary, but hanging out with friends (socialising) is very essential for emotional growth during puberty and after it (and through all of your life). Without socialising, believe it or not, you CAN become emotionally distant especially if you're always alone since age 11.

Why were you banned at the time of google crawling the profile  I know 1 person named Ingrid, and as much as I'd like to disagree with your assumption solely based on a name, she's not that "cool", i.e. would never have anything else than a professional background. That doesn't mean I know the rest of the millions of ingrids, but chances are they are boring so there. Which means in your mind, subconsciously or not, "black women" (which is a pretty broad generalisation, out of hundreds of millions there are probably at least thousands you'd die for in terms of appearances) are inferior to other women because they're not "attractive". No, they're all ugly, only white people can be attractive and white people can only hang around with each other, otherwise you're "weird". Or maybe I did progress to the next century anyways. Read the definition of racism.

In that case you must make sure you teach it the right way. I've been raised in a very, very christian environment, and by age 7 I could tell I was being brainwashed by all the stories I heard from other kids and adults about "how you are going to hell if you do this and that". Now that I think of it, it sounded like any other cult based on intimidation. I just laughed at them because their lives were so restricted at such a young age. If they refused to go to church or read the Bible, some compassionate guy in the heaven would kick the hell out of them after they died. Ridiculous. Perhaps it would be better to approach children with religion in a way that emphasises it's real core principles such as love and tolerance rather than trying to submit them to some god's authority and unproven ideas based on scaring them and giving them nightmares. My childhood friend did have very bad nightmares because his parents and teachers were constantly talking to him about hell and how it could scorch him for an eternity if he disobeyed. He later started arguing with his devout parents about it, I really doubt he will raise his children religiously.

She's barely even 'black', her skin is just a bit more tanned.. Yes, you're a racist. Anyways, the first result in google that comes up for bluelancer is this site. Just scroll down the site, it makes less sense than monty python.. What the *? I hope nobody ever searched for it, I did not make that site. The guy was apparently drunk

WHY kill TOM the TURKEY on thanksgiving? =6)

Or you could post on the already existing thread... 8-) No point in having two threads, is there? Common forum sense. -
In all rationality, that's true though. But if religion was first not 'entertainment', what was it? The egyptian gods were based on legends and stories that were being told about the Sun god and the thousands of other gods, and at some point, thousands of years before any other truly organised religion, they started taking it for real. And killing each other for 'infidelity'. Religions contain stories about the origin of the world and how it will end just like movies. All religions have their own theory or story about it. Even if their meaning transformed from 'story' to 'real intent' at some point, it makes them no more valid than any other story. For all you know, really, in the future there could be people who will think Star Wars was not a piece of entertainment but a religion with a strict code of principles called Jedi code. It sounds absurd now, but how many of those people that invented the egyptian Gods and the stories about them, believed that a thousand years later rulers would build temples and worship the creation of their own minds? P.S. the 30% and less than 0.1% figure was solely based on the number of followers worldwide.

Get further education and a semi-nice job rather than letting these games brainwash you into a 'patriot' who then thinks the army is his calling in life and dies in a country you don't even know where it is located on the map or how to spell it. Anyways, if you want a nice war game other than Americas Army, try Brothers in Arms 2. My friend always plays it on his computer and it seems quite high quality gameplay-wise.

I don't understand this kind of prejudice you mentioned. It never made sense to me, unlike racism, because I could clearly see some people are ignorant because they learned it from their parents/environment and they think it's justified. Making fun of people who are fat or have glasses or have some physical exception, etc. It's even less justified than any other form of discrimination. In my mind I associate the people who make fun of those people being the same as those who torture small animals for fun and get a laugh out of it, power abusers, jerks, b**ches who talk behind peoples' backs... Human nature and lack of understanding sometimes makes no sense. :-k

Sometimes i find it amusing, but actually it isn't

If I were you, I'd cough up the few grand and run off with the money and make them believe you have a similar name. You don't want to hear your family calling you dumb for the rest of your life for not grabbing the opportunity. -
No, I am not. The point I am making is that Star Wars - real or not - was not written with the intent to be real stories. The Bible - real or not - was written with the intent to be real. Therefore, one group is taking a self-declared fiction series and treating it as real - and another group is taking a series that is - at least - supposed to be real - and treating it as real. Comparing the two is completely ridiculous. There are people who take the Star Wars story for real, their beliefs are just as rational as any other religions. But hey, at least we can argue, their "probability" of going to a spiritual heaven is much less than 0.1% whereas christians have a fair 30% chance of being the right religion in terms of followers. In the future the number will drop though as other religions like hinduism are exploding with already 1 billion+ followers in India and spreading to nearby areas. Maybe in the future, when people change, there will be more Jedis. And people (not referring to you) will stop taking religions so damn seriously as if it's a matter of life and death and a vehicle of condemnation, instead of being a part of life. Where's the source for this? It's a collection of texts, like the star Star Wars movies (as the modern form of media as opposed to over 2,000 years ago to papyrus and other recording and telling mechanisms) is a collection of stories. Anybody can write "it is the word of the God" just as anybody can levitate in a movie. It doesn't add credibility.

Don't you dare rain on my parade. I will laugh at you when I'm living in my mansion in 2 weeks time. Which was financed by the 'crown prince' of Nigeria after his relative with $17,5 million died and they needed to transfer the money through your bank account (the $3000 bank 'fee' surely was no problem). Not sure why they contacted exactly you, but hey, random people online who have email addresses are trustworthy like that, and you were his distant cousin after all. -
More so of our past, because already over 1 billion people in the world are without a religion and it is increasing. I don't doubt it's important in the daily life of many people though. And what you mentioned, has not been always. Perhaps religious schools like that are todays more tolerant and realise the fact that other religions could be 'right' too and they study them out of respect. Just 30 years ago this didn't exist. I don't only agree, but that's how my school life was like, and I felt it was a very natural approach to religions. Since 3rd grade, when I was 9 years old, we had philosophy lessons and we had homework about many religions (one at a time). There was never any persuasion to 'join' a religion, we were merely studying them. In todays world it's very important to know the customs and religions of other people. Especially if you aim for a good career in the business world or almost anything else nowadays. Being ignorant is not an option, because then there will always be people more advanced than you claiming your positions and salaries.

Please dont make up claims about statistical research. I don't like my job being made to look like a sham. You miss my point. It doesn't matter they aren't officially listed somewhere, it still doesn't mean they don't exist. We can claim pineapples don't exist and their share in the market of fruits is 0%. It doesn't change the fact they exist and there is a certain amount of them. Even if it is not official, Jedi is the 4th most popular religion in the UK no matter what an oracle database on an english computer says. 8-) And guys above... Hate to break it down to you, but the Bible is not really one unified book, nor was christianity founded on it. It's a collection of letters and scriptures that were eventually assembled in it's current form in about 300-400AD. But yes, some parts may be boring. It is still a valid argument that most of modern christianity is based on the authority of a book, namely the Bible, and it does contain non-factual legendary elements just as Star Wars does, though it does also have historical undisputed events as well.

I thought this is just another useless topic, thank the lord for this thread. It's so full of fact I'm going to curl in the fetal position. Though, Unless you can find cool and simple, hacker-esque sound effects that complement the PP, rather than attracting all the attention. I totally agree. However, again, elegant effects such as when the text changes, a nice fading effect will do wonders to make it look more professional. I couldn't agree more with It looks childish, especially if they are blurry and you obviously just typed "flowers" in google images and copied the first available image. Stick with a professional looking, say dark blue background with lighter upper and lower marginals, and easily readable text. You want to make a point clear with style, not look like a hippie who's trying to demonstrate the effectiveness of marijuana with swirling, flashy pink & magenta backgrounds and ear-shattering, psychedelic sounds.
