75+ Crimson charms in 30 minutes - Chaos dungeon waterfiends
I didn't update guide (yet, have no really time now), but I finally made a trip to try out new updates. My inventory looked like this: You notice that there is no really need to use food anymore during aggressive phase (i dropped that shark). When you need food just drink 3 dose sara brew, sr dose and pure doses, even if you don't really need stat boosting yet. - Set your summoning icon left click on attack option. During aggressive phase you don't really need to do anything different, just send familiar to attack in case it doesn't do anything. Usually he attacks them automatically. When they become unaggressive best style to use it is so that you pile same fiend all the time. When fiend dies, click summoning icon, then double click next target nearby and you should both be attacking it quickly. - Always take extra familiar pouch now. Even my 2nd steel titan was killed while i still had some supplies.. So, with lower familiars it may be worth it to take even 2 spare pouches. I think that was all.

Which quest items to keep?
Every useful key you can store into key ring that you get after completing One small favor quest. After that quest you can also talk to the person you get that keyring and give to him your p2p quest junk (not sure if he searches bank) If you like the look of some quest outfit/other items you can equip, keep, otherwise you can throw them away (jester costume, fixed device, rat pole, bonesack etc, 10th squad sigil). Also, if you can store something into your costume room, keep it (mourner's gear, for example). Keep amulets, there is good chance they will be used in future quests or somewhere else (monkeyspeak ammy, armadyl pendant, catspeak ammy, camulet, ghostspeak ammy and 10th.I would also keep Jennica's ring and ring of charos (a) is good to have too. Sapphire lantern you can also keep.. Like someone said darklight and excalibur are good idea to keep. Depends of course what you are doing, they are pretty easy and cheap to reobtain anyway. Just make sure you know where to get something back before you drop/destroy it.

Where would you place a teleport?
A Trouble Brewing tele would be also nice. Moar people playing that mini pl0x? Would be great, hopefully that place will get teleport once they open the city. Trouble brewing teleport would make these items pointless.. *pointing my bank with 41 bottles* "My liver! My liver is melting!" "Oh gods! It tastes like burning!"

75+ Crimson charms in 30 minutes - Chaos dungeon waterfiends
1 Saradomin Godsword 1 Camelot teleport tablet 1+1 titans (or even 1+2, not sure..) 200 healing scrolls 3 Saradomin brews (4) 1 Super restore (4) 1 Super attack (4) 1 Super strength (4) 10-15 prayer potions (4) Rest food you prefer (Sharks, pineapple pizzas etc.) That should work quite fine. I haven't used elemental titan myself there. Maybe with elemental titan can leave 1 or 2 saradomin brews off. I should maybe do a trip and then update this guide to fit with new summoning update and increased amount of SGS specials.

Isnt combat skills the best way to go?
I can admit I'm combat noob since I got maxed combat skills. It allows me to kill everything I want to in most efficient ways which I consider as freedom that I do enjoy. I also don't have any 90+ skills that are not 99 and only a few 80+ skills. But in contrary, my highest skill is fishing. I also keep wearing my fishing cape everywhere instead of my combat related capes, somehow it just make me to feel proud. "Oo, a level 138 with fishing cape". Whatever they mean with it I like when they say it ^^ And in addition, I got quest cape and all level 3 diary rewards too. For me these things back up the fact I have only 2031 total level while having 138 combat. In my opinion everyone with 138 combat should have at least one other skillcape (preferrably non-buyable) so they wouldn't be considered as total combat noobs (even if it doesn't bother themselves). It's boring and disappointing to look up stats of level 138 just to notice every other skill on their account suck.

How much would you pay...?
Thanks for reply You are right there that those items you starred don't really have other than achievement value.. a bit like Pirate's Hook that you can get from agility arena and is tradable.. It cannot be used for show off simply because people know anyone wearing it could have (and most likely has) bought it and not earned by himself. But the idea behind them being there is what would you pay for them if they still had the same achievement value for people around. Hypothetical question of course. Grand seed pod is actually tradable, didn't know it when i made this thread. Anyway, it's used to teleport to the grand tree in the tree gnome stronghold. It was the quickest way to use spirit trees back in time (and thus also quick way to reach ge). Although it's tradable (look at GE graph, it has been unbuyable there for as long as GE has been around.. Steel gauntlets are item you can change to cooking gauntlets, gold smithing gauntlets or chaos gauntlets. What would you have paid for barrows gloves before doing rfd quest? Same for other quest obtainable items like accumulator.

Favorite Mini-games
My favorite minigames in past have been Barbarian assault and Trouble brewing. Nowadays my favorite is probably Mobilizing armies. When I was f2p for a while ago I just played Fist of guthix.. Had nothing better to do lol.

Where would you place a teleport?
There is actually. I believe the Camulet from Enahkra(sp?)'s Lament teleports you to Enahkra's Temple, extremely close to the Granite Mine. And if you're not a quester, sorry, that's your own fault. - Ring of slaying teleports you to Pollnivneach. - Pharaoh's sceptre teleports you to ancient pyramid, Sophanem and agility pyramid - House teleport teleports you to Pollnivneach too if you have changed location there Keldagrim would be good place for dircect tele. Occasionally when I need to go there I never have really fast way to do it. Whether it's going to buy construction materials, doing clue, quest, buying bolt pouch or something else. Fastest way to go there is probably house teleport to taverley, and then mine kart ride to keldagrim from under the white wolf mountain. Other fast ways are dorgeshkaan sphere (pretty random teleport) and taking train ride and using ring of slaying to either teleport to rellekka slayer cave entrance and walking from there or using it to teleport to fairy ring and then using rings to teleport near keldagrim entrance. On the other hand addint direct teleport would make these other methods useless.. Other nice place would be Tyras camp. Would be nice for clues and also if they add new eld quests. I know you can get there quite quickly by using charter ships (via camelot or ardougne tele on normal spellbook, catherby tele on lunar or karamja teleport (glory, take a boat to port sarim). Burgh de rott or Mort'ton teleports would be nice too.. But they shouldn't make them so that it would make using shortcut route through the swamp totally useless. But as an achievement diary reward, why not? And last but not least, direct teleport to Oo'glog would be great. Fastest ways currentlyto go there are charter ship and MA teleports but direct teleport would still be nice :) But I would like it most to be able to move my house there.. Such a lovely place to live. I love taking baths every now and then.

Worst you've ever been hit?
One of my worst ever was yesterday 68 by Kree'arra. Didn't click prayer on fast enough :P My failing at Jad doesn't count, I have been too busy to even watch damage I take and always die..

Armadyl Solo Guide (WIP)
Been doing Armadyl solo too occasionally. If you don't mind me posting my inventory and my equipment here are them: Inventory: Equipment: Borrowed armadyl chest, karil' skirt, snakeskin boots, imbued dragonstone ring, spectral spirit shield, amulet of fury, barrows gloves and verac's helm. With that setup I'm keeping chest, shield, fury and helm. And if running out of prayer and protect item then won't keep verac's helm so can switch it for cheaper alternative too if afraid. Ring can be switched too. I enjoy playing Mobilizing armies so I'm not afraid of losing it. I don't use imbued onyx ring because it protects over almost everything else and dragonstone ring is almost as good. [hide=My best solo loot][/hide]

When do you pot?
Super pots usually at around 108 if I'm not doing slayer. And additionally I pot before special attacks. Range pots at armadyl gwd usually when level goes down to 99, at dragons always at same time I need to take sip of antifire pot (around 106) If I am doing slayer it depends on task. I try to share my pot evenly for whole task, so if I got 160 creature task I take sips between every 40 kills

Most usefull special
SGS special definitely. It has most uses. actually only specials I generally use are SGS, EE, AGS and ZGS specials. AGS I use only at Bandos and Zammy gwd, ZGS only at Sara gwd (i don't play cw :P), EE at Arma gwd, mithril dragons, KBD and other similar places where SGS cannot be used and SGS for slayer, Bandos and Zammy tanking, generally everywhere where I'm camping if it's possible.

75+ Crimson charms in 30 minutes - Chaos dungeon waterfiends
Thanks for compliments everyone :) They make me always happy Promise, I would really recommend for you to stick with Ancient cavern Waterfiends because the point of using these is using fighting familiar. Without it these are not worth it. You can't use cannon here. Your way to switch to meleeprayer feels also weird because they don't have melee attack :/ Edit: Here is the link for ancient cavern waterfiend guide: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=747696

Guide to KBD Mithril Dragons and Brutal Greens
Maybe should have written but didn't feel like doing so :D As such my text would be too incomplete to be a real guide and it also looks stupid if there are a lot of guides about same topic :P Reason why I use only Diamond bolts at mithrils and kbd and not rubys at all is that getting (fast) kills is less luck based. I was often killing them to half hp without speccing even once when using ruby making it useless. I admit ranging is more costly but still I prefer it over melee. My first 99 combat skill ;) And hey, pietying makes prayer to drain faster than using eagle eye! It balances cost a bit! (oh, don't mention meleer can use prayer boosting armour for slower prayer drain without losing much offencive power whilst ranger cannot, i'm joking here :P) Yes, preference questions after all :) Just wanted to tell my style (that's better in my opinion :P) By the way, Yak is really useful for banking loots in case you get crasher(s) when soloing. It also makes longer trips possible than Lava titan/healer and somehow I prefer longer trips at KBD for some odd reason. I often ended up getting almost all loots without using supplies and wouldn't have liked leaving those all on ground instead of banking.

Vyrewatch Killing - Shades minigame extension
I found using unicorn and void knight melee worked fine for me. Got around 300 corpses cremated now and 200 waiting in bank. Rare loots by this far (300 keys): 1 * dragon spear 1 * Saradomin page 4 2 * blood amulet 1 * Black d'hide set I will post rest later. Edit: Rare loot total after 500 keys: 2 * dragon spear 1* saradomin page 4 4 * blood talisman 2 * black d'hide set

Guide to KBD Mithril Dragons and Brutal Greens
Good guide generally :) Since I have killed quite a lot all of these. I decided to tell my own opinions. I kill them almost always by using ranged since I find it better. First off, you could mention that all these dragons are also great charm droppers, especially KBD for crimson charms. I personally soloed over 1k KBDs mostly to get pretty fast charms in profitable way. 2nd general thing: it's very useful to pot up before leaving bank. Take a doses of sarabrew, normal restore pot, ranged pot (or pure set for meleeing) and antifire pot. In this way I don't need to waste a dose of super restore in beginning of the trip when boosting defence and hp with sarabrew before starting to fight. If you don't need extra hp switch sarabrew+restore for super defence dose and for brutal greens leave it out. 3rd general thing: Oog'log spas are useful for each of these: prayer boost, free healing and hp boost. They are pretty easy and fast to access nowadays with Mobilizing armies teleports too. Gear: From my own experience I would recommend using full armadyl over void knight range at both KBD and Mithril dragons. Against brutal greens I'm not sure which is better (haven't tried void there for some reason :/) Amulet of ranging is better choice than fury. Added accuracy makes kills faster which is not only good time wise but also saves supplies. Thus defence and prayer bonus losses are justified. And of course imbued archer ring beats normal archer ring ;) I don't use ruby bolts at mithrils and kbd myself. Spec is too rare in my opinion and diamond bolts hit better than them without specs. It's a more costly in that way of course. In my opinion, best special weapon for ranger at kbd and mithril dragons is enhanced excalibur. "Free shark" between every 5 minutes is something hard to beat. Brutal Green dragons: Good and simple. I don't usually take prayer pot though, instead I just teleport out and bank after prayer points run out. I don't know which one really is better style, up to personal preferences I guess. KBD: Range is better for soloing unless you have black dragon slayer task (If having slayer helm/black mask they are about equal in speed). At 99 range I have usually won my fights against maxed meleer's. Generally I recommend staying in close range and praying melee. This makes KBD to hit you with his meleeattack causing less other attacks that would damage you. If you are competing kills with someone (or duoing) there is no reason to do this. Using fast spawn world like w2 is definitely worth it too. Crashing occurs there more often so it's more important to be nearly maxed if doing so. Little lag won't make you die here. I have tried many styles there using beast of burdens, healer and fighting familiars. War tortoise strategy worked quite fine but didn't do really much that for some reason. Later when i hit 83 summoning I started doing it a lot with lava titan. It didn't only give me teleport but also did damage it did was really helpful especially when competing kills with someone. After 88 summoning I tried unicorn there, didn't like it. Yes its healing helped but also caused to leave a lot loot on ground which wasn't nice :( Neither was juggling supply. Also, its healing alone wasn't enough to keep me healed so couldn't take just empty inventory for loots either. So in summary unicorn for solo kbd was simply annoying. Nowadays if I go solo it I use yak and take this kind of supply: Actually nowadays I switch some pineapple pizzas for brews and super restores to drink when it's time to drink range pot. In this case I need also extra yak pouch, though. This is my style for using pots at KBD: - I start potting after this appears: "Your resistance to dragonfire is about to run out" - If I'm at around 60 hp or so I drink 3 doses brew, 1 dose super restore, 1 dose range pot and finally 1 dose antifire pot before resistance has ran out. - If I have almost killed dragon when that text appears I try to kill dragon before starting potting - If I'm at too high hp to drink 3 brew doses I wait until resistance runs out, then drink antifire pot, wait a bit more until I get lower hp and then start drinking brews If I do get crashed by someone who is doing slayer I rebank, come back quickly with lava titan teleport and then switch to steel titan to anticrash world back to myself. Mithril dragons: Ah, my own long time favorite dragons. Killed totally around 1,5-2k these and got many of my 90+ range levels there. Also got this once too Who says that Firemaking is useless skill? ;) It was worth 50m when i got it. But more seriously, these are familiars I have used there/use nowadays. - Spirit terrorbird: Store all loot into it, including mithril bars. Once it gets full and your inventory is full too, teleport out. Very economical way to kill these and doesn't require using much prayer potions or food and pouch is practically priceless. - War tortoise: same as with terrorbird. I don't recommend using it since extra 6 spaces is not worth the pouch cost. - Bunyip: Familiar that already makes extra long trips possible. Using it does require a lot effort, though. You have to juggle drops and supplies a lot! I remember getting 30-40 kills per trip when my levels were like this: [hide=part of my own Mithril dragon guide that I never finished.]Inventory All pots are 4-doses and mixes 2-doses. 2 sara brews 2 super restores 2 ranging potions 2 antifire pot 1 antifire mix 10 prayer pot 1 prayer mix 2 bunyip pouch 1 games necklace 4 tuna potatoes/manta rays 1 doses of sara brew, restore pot, ranging pot and antifire pot. (Replace empty/half empty pots by tuna potatoes before teleporting) This is exactly the inventory that I use and that works for me. If your levels are higher, switch antifire mix to antifire pot and prayer mix for prayer pot. Reason to use mixes is that they give a bit extra healing, 6 hp per dose. Tactic Tactic is based on fast killing, good magic defence and bunyip's healing. Stay in meleerange, use protect from melee and eagle eye prayers. Eagle eye is reason to bring 10 prayer potions instead of less them and more food. By using it you will kill dragons that much faster that you won't need as much food as you would need without it. Summon bunyip when you are killing first dragon. After that try to always keep your hp under your max hp so that bunyip healing capacity is not wasted. This doesn't mean that you should stop praying if you are at full hp :) Instead it means that don't eat your few foods before you really have to (=you are at 30hp without need to drink a dose of sarabrew for defenceboost yet). Same thing occurs with mix potions too, use them when you are at quite low hp and need some healing but otherwise save them until there is real need. Take sips of sarabrew, super restore pot and range pot after boosted skills (defence and range) have dropped down to about 7 below theirs potted maximums. This may, however, vary a bit. If you have taken more damage than usually, take boosting sips earlier, especially if being on early half of the trip. As well if you have some spare food due to shark drops you can let them go down a bit longer than usually. Also, always try to drink them immediately after they have dropped down by 1 naturally, just to get full use of boosts. And still one thing: Avoid drinking sarabrew if it will get your hp to its maximum or over it. Well, it doesn't really kill you if it does but it wastes some potential bunyip healing. You will have to recycle drops you get between ground and inventory, even when killing dragon at the same time. Sometimes I keep even more than 5 drops on ground at time image], so be ready for it :) It may feel a bit inconvenient but is necessary. About first 15 dragon bones you have to bury, though, but other drops never have to go waste. Just keep everything at same spot, drop item, click to attack dragon, drop another item, click to attack dragon again, pick 2 items, attack dragon, drop items you just picked, always attacking dragon so that you don't lose your turn in battle. If there are more than 2 same kind of items on ground (like 6 sharks) it's easiest to drop more than 2 too, so you don't have to think what of them you already picked. Somewhere on later half of trip you should check if you are going to run out of prayer or out of food first. If answer is prayer, stop using eagle eye and go just with meleeprotection. If you are low on food instead, you can start using steel skin prayer and start drinking stat boosters earlier. Sometimes you will still have plenty of food left at the end but no prayer (those lovely sharkey drops :)). In this case just kill a few dragons without prayer, staying out of meleerange.[/hide] - Fruitbat: Might be good for staying there long but requires too much effort since you don't have free inventory spaces and long respawn times. Haven't used myself - Ice/Moss/Fire titan: Haven't used so can't say how good they are. Expensive anyway. - Unicorn: With 99 range, magic, hp and defence and wearing full armadyl I can basically stay there for as long as I want to without food usage. Usually I take 2 unicorn pouches, 2 sara brews, 2 super restores, 2 ranging potions, 2 antifires, 1 or 2 emergency shark and rest prayer potions. Now I can't remember whether 2 was enough or did I need 3 of them.. Anyway, generally very comfortable killing but dealing with drops is a bit pain and leaving all those mithril bars on ground hurts me too. Trip length depends a lot on what boost prayer you use. Fastest kills with eagle eye or longer trips with lesser boost prayers or no prayers. I use always eagle eye myself just to make sure that unicorn healing alone is enough. Sometimes when i'm having too many food drops I step away and kill it a while without protection prayers just so that food doesn't go to waste :P - Pack yak: This is familiar I'm always using there nowadays. I store drops into it until it gets full and after that I just bank everything I get with scrolls. My inventory: Should be self-explanary how I use all those pots.

99 rangers guide to training range and using it! newb-master
Decent guide. Although stating that chinning is for noobs is stupid :P If you got money why not to use it for fastest possible way to get your range up? This said I personally never used them because i liked getting profit when training. Enhanced excalibur is great special weapon for rangers, especially at bosses (armadyl gwd and kbd) and for non-safespot training too. You should really add it :)

Thanks for feedback. Added that to familiar part.

Divine & Elysian Spirit shields
If you got money, get divine. If not, then get Spectral. If not, then stick with Blessed spirit shield or DFS. (Prayer bonus of BSS is useful since you can use thick skin/rock skin/steel skin to replace defence stats of DFS) My friends (also maxed combat) who use divine at armadyl usually don't need to use either prayer points or other supplies, Altar gives all the prayer they need. At this point I have to say that I don't need to use any supplies either with my spectral (if having really good 3 man team or normal good 4 man team). So prayer loss of DSS really means nothing there. Difference between using DSS and Spectral (or Elysian) is really usage of prayers. I use defencive prayers, while they can use offencive prayers, usually 5% or 10 %. Lol, I don't know if you got anything what I tried to explain :P.

75+ Crimson charms in 30 minutes - Chaos dungeon waterfiends
Well, of course you can do this without lootshare too, i just found it to be more fair (if you have both about same lsp). And if you do duo method i suggest it's most efficient to do so that another is using dharok for high hits and another finishing them with ss/zs. In that way player using dharoks would be getting most loot. By the way, if you have good friend you want to help in getting summoning up this is great way to do that ;) I preferred shorter trips instead of doing long trips and guide is based on that too. I did a few longer trips too taking extra pouch. Might post a few pictures of that as well, time interval between these 2 shots is about exactly 1 hour. And still i stress importance of pietying.. Use it if you are killing these here. It's definitely worth it. Like squareroot said, if you want economical way go to ancient cavern. Just think about all those runes you would be using at rock lobsters and you notice that cost of extra prayer potions is nothing. Robert, I am pretty sure that with elemental titan you can easily swap shark for extra prayer potion. And extra tip: Mobilizing armies teleport is useful if you are using oog'log spas for boosting hp and prayer.

Ranging Amulet
I tried range amulet out at armadyl gwd and worked good enough for me. For solo and duo fury is clearly better, for trio it's questionable but when 4 manning faster kills make up the prayer bonus loss of fury. I didn't really need to use supplies (brews or srs/p pots) when using unicorn and ranging amulet. Depends of course on your teammates (I had reasonable good team :)) If having 5 or more you shouldn't even consider using fury (if having good enough magic and defence levels).
