  1. Don't know about monkey skeletons but I got my scroll in a few hundreds kills in Chaos dungeon skeletons. Great to use attacking familiar there (iron titan with scrolls works fine) and they drop really good blue charms.
  2. Corporeal beast eats a lot of high level food, so to speak :P If you have been there lately you know it has got pretty popular. It's just one of the reasons.
  3. Untrimmed summoning is not really hard. If you are training combat with slayer I'm pretty sure you'd be getting charms for 99 summoning before maxing any other skill. Especially if you do some charm hunting occasionally too. Only reason why it's rare is that most people who have got 99 summoning have had high combat stats already before summoning came out.
  4. This would mean that high value items would deflate close to their high alch prices quite quickly. Like they were doing when you got as drop what other had. No dangerous pvp = hardly no items vanish.
  5. Langer, I'm very aware of that obelisk. However, I find it more comfortable to use summoning potion so I don't need to go upstairs (and bank) just because of it when having still half empty inventory. Of course it's entirely possible to just use obelisk if you want to. Idk what's with pictures.. they are loading very slowly without getting finished. I guess I should just load them elsewhere, will do that if problem doesn't get fixed automatically soonish.
  6. 328 days in 3 years. Basically been spending around 30% of my life in Rs during this time. How does it sound? :P
  7. Totally agreed with TheScienceFreak. Coming from someone who got all 7 naval sets and Phasmatys flag before price update. Oh well, at least can get cheap stuff for brewing and easy teleportation to mos le harmless nowadays..
  8. Very good points in this thread. That's one of the reasons why I always try to have only under 10m wealth in coins and everything else in various items (I don't merch actively). Everything is going up so it's best thing just to keep them.. at least until they fix that inflation problem (if they do that, I wish they do). When you are suggesting how to fix inflation, keep in mind that also heavily deflating prices would be a bad problem too. No one would like to see their net value going down no matter what they do. What if you couldn't sell anything for cash because no one would be buying. For sure this would happen if they stop pure cash drops in pvp and add a huge sinkhole that would be useful to use (MTK is good example). People like using gp sinks that make their net wealth go up. Of course they have to be careful not to make them too good so they would replace other ways to obtain items. In my opinion the best way to replace cash drops is to give pvp so good unique item drops that there would be no need for other drops. Of course they should also stop 76king to prevent people massproducing them. Not sure if current items there are are enough but nothing stops them introducing new items, also some nondegradable (they would have a huge demand in pve side of the game).
  9. I like them but don't like the fact many hats are cut to fit the face into image (like healer, ranger and runner hats from BA)
  10. Ardougne cape also gives you unlimited teles to altar for recharging prayer. :)
  11. I tried using hand cannon as my secondary weapon on one trip to use some cannon shots I had. It wasn't good. Despite its high stats it still hit far too rarely and too low. Not to mention that shield is almost must thing to have there.
  12. I guess it's not a surprise to anyone that my answer is fishing :) At rocktails nowadays, in World 2 can often get full inventory without even having to switch spot. This means around 15 minutes free multitasking time.
  13. Another heaviest single item: Stone slab Doesn't really change anything but just wanted to point out :)
  14. awesome, I almost thought you deleted your KBD section though, It got merged into the Gear section because you misplaced is "
  15. They should probably add more moneysinks that are useful for moneymaking from the point of players. A good example is Manage your Kingdom. Something where you can use coins to gain items that are worth more than the coins you use to get them. Or something like barrows armour repair cost. Useful degrading items that require continuos cash flow in case you decide to use them. Probably untradable degrading items you can buy from shops (or minigames where you can use coins instead of items to get investment credits (think about Mobilizing Armies). I wouldn't mind GE clerks taking some percentage cash out of each trade for their own benefit like people have suggested. Hey, they are basically merchanters that provide convenience for us without gaining anything ;) It would be just plain right to add some cost into using GE!
  16. It's not about playing for fun only. You'll get a lot more reward credits out of your investment credits if you play a bit slower games instead of just rushing for 300 rank. Anyway if you need guide for getting fast rank for those who don't care about wasting ICs: 1) Use light elf units 2) Go play Siege 3) Suicide running against wall 4) Don't kill your all units before timer has gone down to 26 minutes 5) Use cannon to boost suiciding speed if needed This is not maybe as fast as fast ma was (or is, idk if it's still around). Actually, I find that getting a bunch of heavy units (4 elf, 3 dwarf and goblin) to kill people on siege be faster ranks. Most of the time I win the game by 24-25 mins left.. So it is faster then suiciding i think that I'm going to make together a short guide on how to play for both fun, speed, reward credits, and rank :) Not bad choice but there are always those who keep escaping from you lengthening the battle a lot. And if other people have heavy units too it'll take longer too (and if another can fight you might even lose then). For length of suiciding tactic I can't really say anything since I haven't done it. Anyway, if that tactic works for you it's fine then :P
  17. Thanks for that Horde part, warrior :) That sounds pretty working tactic.
  18. Amazing :o I had collected myself a text list of superior locator teleport places that I was going to publish but I had never thought about that massive picture guide.
  19. I got 8 glasses of greenman's ale (m) ^^
  20. Finely organised guide  Some interesting things to know would be: - Tell which ales are the most useful ones to brew and why - Add that time already :) how long we need to wait before ale is ready - How long it takes to do a brewing trip using both places? (Includes emptying brewed ale to keg/glasses (which one you recommend) and putting new ingredients in.
  21. I don't know if this is even a beginning guide. Just some basic things. I'd like to hear your opinion if I should try making this a real guide. Normal mode: For normal playing mode I prefer using 3 goblin, 4 dwarf and 3 elf squads (all heavies)- Most effective special is distractor, in my opinion at least. Once you learn how to use it you can effectively stop all enemy units attacking you (if they are at about same area) while you can yourself continue attacking them. I suggest you don't hide (wait for other players to attack). It's a bit waste of time if everyone does that.. I generall start the game sending all my squads to attack 1 enemy. In theory the best way to destroy your enemy would be his squads 1 after another. In practice it's impossible to do efficiently because attacking new target with all your squads takes too much time. You should try to minimize the time when your squads are retaliating or idle. You should also take advantage of combat triangle I do usually this tactic in beginning of every game: - Attack 1st enemy goblin squad with 2 dwarf squad - Attack 2nd enemy goblin squad with 2 dwarf squad - Attack 1st enemy elf squad with 2 goblin squad - Attack 2nd enemy elf squad with 1 goblin squad - Attack 1st enemy dwarf squad with 3 elf squad This should result that first thing that happens is that my dwarves beat 2 of the enemy goblin squads. Thus I am ready to attack new goblins with my dwarves as soon as I seem them being idle (or attack dwarves in case there are no goblins left). Then I'll either defeat 1st elf squad with my 2 goblins or 1st enemy dwarf squad with my 3 elf squads. Either case, I attack new targets with them in same way. If your opponents uses distractor this all is a bit messed up since you have to send all units attack again. After that it's mostly just that I check continuously if any of my units is idle and if it's then I attack something with them, preferably same type/the one it's strong against. If you see all or almost all enemy squads in same spot you should use distractor so that they get distracted but so far away from your own squads that they don't get distracted. Basically you learn to use it by using trial and error. Usually 3rd and 4th team have been fighting meanwhile and you just have to kill the remaining squads of another team. If he seems stronger than you make sure to take advantage of special terrains. If your opponent is piling one of your units move it so that you are on special terrain and opponent units are not so that you can move all your other squads to special terrain too so they get benefit for attacking as well. Again use distractors if you have them left. Siege: For siege I take 4 light elf units and 6 heavy elf units and use wall option. 10 light elf units would be best but they get killed really quickly in case there is someone using that tactic. Elves are best because they have fastest reaction time for clicks. Ă„nyway, I put 2 light elves to one end of my wall and another 2 to another end. Order is the same as the order they are in your inventory. First send your light elves to collect catapult parts, then send your heavy elves to collect rocks. Then move your screen so that you can easily click both your units next to catapult and rocks and keep doing this until the end of the game. I don't usually bother with using special units unless someone uses them on me. Again distractors win. I usually get my wall broken and win when there is 23 minutes left in timer. This is not that much more compared to suicide strategy and you'll get a lot more reward credits in each game (I always bet max amount to each game) If someone attacks you in the beginning of the game it's bad thing :P Just keep getting rocks and wish all your squads don't get killed before the end of the game. If someoen breaks your catapult send your light units to get new parts quickly. Horde: About Horde I don't really know, haven't played it much. Rescue: In rescue you should use light elf units again. First rescue a few Tzhaar from lava, then start stealing from other. Continue until you win :P Distractors can be used to stop enemy units from coming to steal your TzHaar people. Use them wisely just before you get 28. Haven't played with this style much either so idk. Another style might be using heavy units and killing your opponents but I haven't tried it. I doubt it won't work.
