  1. He's not quitting. I'm sure everyone in chat was joking...
  2. And I kinda need them by Monday. Ohhhhhhh snap! Anyway, aside from being completely broke until I start my work study job Monday I bought 3 old new game. Got Dead Island for the PS3 used and got Star Wars: Force Unleashed for free. Yay for more game added to my "Will one day complete" collection. Also picked up Chrono Trigger for the DS to help with semi-afkable skills (and because I wanted it). Currently, I'm trying to finish up Final Fantasy III. I'm near the end but been lazy with it. In scape news, Divination yeah! [spoiler=Not as impressive as the efficiency scapers] OH! And I also got a bit of mining done. At least half of my summer goal will be done. EDIT: 90 Thieving. WHOO~ Until next time
  3. I don't see how that's the best idea when "Steve targets player with lowest health and instantly hits them for 1.5x damage (no cooldown) after which the attack continues as normal." If one team member isn't prepared or his full health isn't enough, wouldn't that kill the team member?
  4. They'd have to completely overhaul Divination's rewards though. Spawning a private copper rock shouldn't require 140 combat. Not really. What they should have done, or can do, is scale combat like they did for BOL or Death of Chivalry and require it in the same way Wolf Whistle is required for summoning. We've discussed, as it stands now Divination has limited reward so for a lower level it's much better tojust go find a copper rock than spawn one. But 140 combat is a bit tough for a skill. So instead scale the combat inside the quest and require the quest for the skill so players can understand why we are flushing crud down a toilet...
  5. It is for this reason that I think, thematically I think TWW should be required to train this skill just so the player can understand just what exactly are they doing. It's not like the quest is hard or have terrible rewards either...
  6. The faster you get 99, the faster I can use my pendants. SO GOOOOO!
  7. Nor does Divination. You can keep the energy for yourself. It's the same way with drop mining/fishing. You get more xp/hr if you drop the resources rather than bank them. You get more xp/hr dumping the energy rather than saving it. But you don't have to dump it... Ninja'd: GTFO GWY
  8. It's not a complaint, it's a suggestion for the skill. All Quyneax has been doing is making suggestion for the skill. I see your point now, thinking about it a little more. But we do have that unexplained power Guthix gave us at the end of TWW. Maybe that could explain why we don't need to take damage. We still are left with the second skill which would make Divination a gathering skill. So we really don't know this skills potential until the second skill comes out. It seemed from the little AMA they had Jagex does have plans to flesh this out more as we get closer to the second skill. Personally I feel like just waiting this out for a few months and seeing what plans are made for this skill as we get closer to whatever the second skill is. The skill is still just an infant much like Dungeoneering was before we found things/changes were made that made this skill faster. But I do agree with your earlier suggestion to tie this skill in with the others. Does feel a bit closed off...
  9. That is probably the offsetting pat for me. Gathering skill a relatively safe depending on where you train, and even dangerous areas are safe due to new method of training/new updates/continuous training in other skills. For example, in LRC I quick hop mine at the southeastern most gold rock, where the living rock creatures can't get you unless you come out of the cut. The real danger I have is just making it there and when I step out to spawn my lava titan so it can stop spamming my box. LRC fishing is much more dangerous, but I enjoy a bit more protection doing it on world 84 with 1000 other people/bots there. Another example woodcutting on the fremmy isle or Feldip Hill. Before those mobs were a huge pita because the attacked you and interrupted your training. But I didn't have to woodcut there. That was just one area of training. With a high enough combat level thou, I can relax a little. Even if the risk of death has been reduced to getting a papercut, what you seem to suggest is not a single area of training where you cut out the porter part of the skill for relative danger, but entire skill itself. That's kinda bothers me, because I've always associated gathering skill as a relaxing part of scape that takes you away from worry of death if you so choose it.
  10. UPDATE: 3 more days to make this happen make this easy. The wolf outfit that is. And I think I got the hardest piece!
  11. I'm not a boss hunter or really good when it come to game design, but I like it. Just one question. Why did you start the scale at level 70. Is that because that is the point armor starts to scale exponentially, or is it to supplement your last statement "More teammates means less damage taken per player. Kill speed is no longer the sole deciding factor in team size." whereas a large and prepared enough team can almost relax a more strict armor requirement? I ask because earlier you mention "Second, ports gear will have the distinction of being the lowest tier armor that you can successfully out-eat his full special attack solo." which to me implies that members should have a bare minimum of Ports armor.
  12. I'm really lacking on my BOL activity...only gonna get worse when I finally assemble my TV to play PS3 games and when Chrono Trigger comes in the mail.
  13. [/hide] +1 for the Professor Farnsworth, +1 for rank 9 on the list (top 10 [cabbage]es) and +20 for rank over Leik. I approve. Also which job did you end up getting? I got a job working for the school district. 6.75 hours a day but that gets me full benefits and it pays as much as my last job in sales but with this one I work less hours, get health insurance and the job is to play connect 4 with kids all day. Nice. Sound better than the other two you told me about earlier. And all you have to do is play board game with a bunch of kids. Sounds like a win. Too bad you can't just throw them a pack of card then log on to scape.
  14. So I just bought 3 games to add to my collection of "Game I'll never Finish", all used. Dead Island, Star Wars: Force Unleashed, both PS3 and Chrono Trigger for the DS. I feel myself finishing Dead Island and Chrono Trigger thou, but not sure if I should have picked up Star Wars for free.
  15. I'm sorry about the girlfriend thing bro. But she's missing out on the sexy beast that you are. Yes, I have the biggest online crush on you. Also hurrah for passing the M.A taught portion!
  16. The same people who thought click through chat boxes were a thing of the past. Grinds my gears that one stops for two seconds but I have to rotate my cam because I can't click it in chat box.
  17. Nex items are shared and there good, them being shared is what makes them flippable. also finding your own things can be a massive downfall if not careful or just unlucky. I wouldn't classify Nex items as good at all. Rule of thumb, if an item has a price check FC it's useless. so your saying a reliable 1m profit on each item isn't good? I think you missed the point of his quote. Think about the real world. First time investor usually go to Mutual Fund and invest in government bonds; those are good because it diversify their portfolio and while well established institutions like the United State or Britain may go down a credit rating, they won't default. But that's common sense. But if you engage in inside trading (illegal) or are able to get in on an emerging industry or new company that has something to make them a first mover and strong market power, you won't share that info until everyone knows about it; think Apple computers before it became Apple, Kodak early on, or Boeing before Airbus came into the scene. TL;DR: Your 1m profit on Nex is just about what everyone gets because the profit on Nex is shared. In other words, you are investing in a "Mutual Funds" or "Government Bond" like item...
  18. Didn't Facebook recently have a birthday?
  19. Well Divine Herb Patch I was like 10 guams. So if not for v2 and v3, then the first 1 seems worth while for me if I have a few energy left over.
