Super September is Coming!
Well I think in the Divination topic, it was established that everything from this skill was useless, for the time being, except for all the porters, most divine locations, and the 90+ stuff for emergencies only.

Super September is Coming!
Nothing really risky about it. Take about 5-10 monkfish with you, your portents, no armor or antifire, and go to a spot with dragons. Get horribly burnt, let the portent heal you, heal til just over half hp, get hit again, let the portent heal you, etc etc. Took me less than 5 minutes and there was no risk to speak of. My strategy. 1) Take 1 or 2 sharks. 2) Go to the lighthouse or Chaos tunnel dagannoths with nothing (or even fashionscape it). Optional rock crabs by Femmy lodestone works as I am told. 3) Eat when too low for portent to work. 4) Die happy and respawn. Took all of 2 minutes. I was able to get my portents to heal me to 50% hp 9/10 times. Mind you I was using the nontradable version of the t1 types.

Some smithing questions.
If you aren't looking to do a lot of clicking with superheating gold and would rather afk, then you could do Mithril Ingot ii for about 10gp/xp or about a 43m price tag, at 120k exp hour...

Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
They aren't for people who want multimedia devices like that. But they are trying to turn causal gamers into gaming hardware owning players, even if just with a DS. The Vita (or PSP for a better example) was a handheld device that could have competed with Apple because that device was multimedia. Nintendo was both a good and bad example. As a gaming company competing for the same player type it runs for worry. But Nintendo strictly makes handles for games. Sony would have been a better example, but the Vita is really overlooked, so that would have been hard to compare. On the issue of what Ginger said, I say the 2DS can be because if fits between a handheld and tablets. Young adults who game but don't want a 3DS is what this works for.

Super September is Coming!
That outfit does look nifty. Anyone else think it looks like Loki's armor, but with more gold? It is very slick looking though. Edit: Dang. Blu sniped me with a "looks like" comment. :P Your comparison is better thou. I totally forgot about Loki's pimp suit, but I just finished FF3, so it was still on my mind. :D

Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
@Bly That is a lot of places you are associated with. :D @Sy When applications, especially for gaming, became big for apple products, Nintendo suffered a bit of profit loss for a year or two. The audience type Nintendo and Jagex would seek isn't very different. Runescape is both a causal and hardcore (not sure if that's the right word) game, and Nintendo has a fan base but has always looked to causal gamers to assist; basically look at their gaming library. The only difference is that Nintendo does it's own hardware, Jagex would be using a windows or apple hardware. They may be in different markets, but due to tablets and handles being substitutions, for a consumer who owns both a iPad and Nintendo 3DS, Jagex is competing with Nintendo. Jagex having the intentions of going after causal type players and mobile players by way of mobile devices put them competition anyway, and being involved in that market means Jagex has to play attention to changes in their market and related markets. You CAN'T ignore substitute markets. If the price of soft drinks increase I'm more likely to drink water. That's important to Coke-Cola as I am substituting their product for something else because I can no longer afford to drink what they have. @Kaida The pricing is probably more directed at iPods as the standard price is around $200-$300 for a new one. A iPod offers more utility than a 2DS, but if you are mainly looking to upgrade an on the go gaming device price matters a lot. And as far as I'm aware the 2DS will play DS games too.

Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
Markets are a lot more complex sir. Yes they are independent markets but ios, androids, and tablets are a substitution for a lot of things. One such substitution is handheld games like the 3DS and Vita. Just look at Nintendo's recent new that in the coming month they are releasing a 2DS at around the price of $150 aimed at lower income families and beginning gamers. Nintendo definitely competes with other handles when it comes to gaming...

The new DevBlog - GWD and PID fixes
I thought it was to many players understanding that due to the RS timeline, anything past the date they could recover would not be included, even if in the same year. I guess that's what some players were bummed about. That and the claim Godsword would be very unbalanced, that being what you already mentioned. Wasn't sure if I caught in the DEV blog if they were going to change that.

The first of many...
Could it be? COULD IT POSSIBLY BE?! DID I ACHIEVE AT LEAST ONE OF MY SUMMER GOAL BEFORE THE END OF SUMMER?! [hide] [/hide] I didn't get the 99 in the mining sign but that doesn't matter. I got the 99. I'm part of the cool kids clubhouse now! Untrimmed mining looks so good. <3 Oh but we don't stop there. With 2/3 goals (90 thieving, 99 mining) complete Port were very nice to me in my final mining days. Full Death Lotus Scrolls and Tetsu Top/Bottom. [hide] [/hide] Here is to the first of many, and many more to come. Next stop smithing!

Regarding nerf to Juju Mining Potion
For someone reason I keep doing that. I'm sorry. Forgive me? :<

Regarding nerf to Juju Mining Potion
This. If you don't actually care about the ores, and are more about the exp then this was a good update. If you do care about the ores but are lacking jujus you are rather indifferent, or you will now find your time shift from Herblore Habitat to Divination. As Sy showed us, even with all of inputs to the porters you have a nice profit to be made. A 460% price increase is really far fetched unless Jagex suddenly decides on another bonus exp event. This really hurts a small group size as HunterDaxter has said. Those who had a large stockpile of Jujus and preferred ores. This is also kinda annoying to anyone who like ores and use of scrimshaws. It's a nerf to some and a buff to others.

Current Fastest Melee XP?
You should really do slayer. If not Slayer then I suggest working to unlock the Fight Cauldron. But you should really consider getting 80 dungeoneering so that when you hit 80 attack, you can use better weapons, namely chaotics claws. Waterfiends might be too hard to hit with just level 75 weapons. Otherwise here are some other suggestions: http://runescape.wik..._melee_training

Regarding nerf to Juju Mining Potion
Unless your goal was to collect all the gold ores you mined to 99 mining. :D
-
Regarding nerf to Juju Mining Potion
Doesn't this really depends on the type of player you are. HunterDaxter is a player type who doesn't actually benefit from this because he preference ores anyway. Speaking just number these new jujus seem better but player preference really determines who enjoys what. For those who play efficiently this is a win. For everyone else, maybe not...
