I guess you didn't bother to read this thread, or even the first 3 pages. Not everyone is claiming this. Some player like Fallstar love it. I enjoy it be it fast or slow. It's very much mixed feeling in this thread. Some love the pace, some wish it had more lore in the very being, other say it's slow, and some are giving good suggestion to improve the skill early on. Don't generalize the entire forum based on the 3 negative post you read.

+1 Do the tutorials and note what you do not understand. As for NIS, the layout I think that comes close to RS2 is the retro style, if you played RS2 on resizeable. So start there and play around with what you want to see on your screen and don't. I also suggest checking out the early pages of the Runescape 3 discussion to see what type of layouts people use. Also a bunch of advice and tips for you there if you are confused about something. Once you do that I suggest you try some low risk activities to see if you can fit in what you learned with gameplay, like Dungeoneering or Dominion Tower for combat and Runespan or bonfire making in w100 Al Kharid for skilling. But for the most part, you have to pretend to be a totally new player and try it all as if you are new, not on past knowledge of how things once went.

You say repeating, but I was expanding how I felt about it. Nonetheless, I don't see the problem then since you seemed to point out that it really isn't a problem to re-buy the magic armor and that it was odd for only Dragon armor to have quest requirements. Unless you would rather have it that way.

Pfft. If we can snipe at BOL then Divination spots are fair game ;)

I don't think Ports armor will take too long after you get he scrolls...Took me three or four weeks for the Tetsu Plate, I'm thinking another three weeks for full tetsu. Also, Y U NO GET 90 FISHING FOR ROCKTAILS AND PLATES?!

Get 90 fishing and runecrafting. Be a nub with Player Owned Ports armor.

And you will...for another 7 weeks. Honestly, I don't have a problem with Dragon Armor/Red dragonhide/Gifolic Armor going F2P, especially since P2P has ports armor and soon t90 armor. I know for F2P, Batwing and blue dragonhide is still relatively new. But when they finally release all t90 armor I think F2P should get t60.

A higher tier armor than 50 that isn't some corrupted version that disappears into nothing, that you have to get lucky to get from Revenants in the wilderness.

UPDATE: Took over 15 spins to get this. I am not liking this promotion so far. :|
