Don't act like you know much about this. You blindly follow JaGEx, believing every move of theirs is the greatest. Honestly, these updates are completely idiotic. In my opinion, they're just trying to cut their losses and prepare for whatever new games they're putting out. Ever heard of RuneScape Classic? You're completely entitled to your own opinion over this, of course. That's just mine. And I don't want attempt to change it. The way I see it, I'd have to destroy the other games. Hacking into JaGEx's database and corrupting every file of every game of theirs excluding RuneScape would not be an easy task. :P i don't blindly follow jagex. i look into their updates and chat with other fellow players. that is called learning. why would jagex risk losing over like 2 million players? and from what ive seen in world hopping, p2p worlds usually have more people than f2p. why would people sign up and keep playing a game they hated? yes, i have heard of runescape classic. i much preffered it to runescape 2 on my old computer, that is, untill i got a new lap top that is. the lag from rs2 was just too much for my 13 year old desk top. and so far jagex only appear to have a few arcade games. i don't really see mechscape becoming better than runescape anytime soon.. they may start persuading people to play mechscape when it gets a reasonable number of updates. but whatever... -.- i preffer fantasy over sci-fi... :P

Go ahead and try to help jagex, see if they will listen to the "people who want to help" go ahead and try. Ill wait. no really i will. Did you help them yet? how about now? yeah, didnt think so because even if any regular player tried to help jagex they wouldnt listen, best you could get is an automated response saying "Thanks for your input, it is truly valued" well, explain to me why i would either criticize or try to change something i don't have a problem with. besides jagex have allready been taking player opinions. several players claim to have had their ideas all ready taken into consideration. the typical stereotype that a game company wanting to ruin their own game is obviously false... and to jp7725 - doing that would have given bots ample time to move from runescape to another game. this update did blindside everyone, including the autoers. in simple terms, the bots got hit by the door on their way out.

the u.s. government... don't even get me started. but i will myself! Random Guy - yay for the united states of americah! FBI agent 1 - he misspelled america! FBI agent 2 - a terrorist!

i don't see a big deal in waiting 30 seconds... but whatever, i guess some people are more time-efficient than i...

yes, i do want fame. not the mega-fame where everyone "0mgz!!1111one!!1@22two!!" when you come near them or are in the same world as them. i'd just like a simple "hey man, whats up?" when i walk into a bank. just simple recognition, not a fan base covering half of runescape...

in all my time playing runescape, many people mis spelled my names with words like "hey, you" "noob" "level-#" etc.... people are in such a rush these days, they don't even take the time to read and type out a few letters and a number or two...

i've never been to the gwd, but can't you just like... walk out of the boss room and hide? then run in, bless, and run back out? unless killing the boss is more important than your friends stuff. in which case by all means destroy the boss. your friend died, his fault, not yours.

probably teasers... :-$ either way i dont see MS passing RS... probably because i'm in denile rightnow...

i'm not a nerd... just a game addict... :lol: but someday i will level up to nerd status! :D or not... :(

you can't really criticize something you aren't trying to help. of course people would be mad, but do you see most of them trying to fix it? NO! you see them whining wanting everything back the way RuneScape was. well guess what, that is a SMALL minority of know-nothing players. they don't care about autoers, then they don't care about RuneScape and should not be taken seriously. the people jagex should listen to are those who actually seem to care about the game in the first place. not the common gamer that's here today and on another mmo tomarrow, but the diehard fans. basically, put up or shut up. :shock:

there still will be bots, but not tons of them. so maybe random events are still usefull? if nothing else, like the above poster stated, they do create a change...

i suppose. there's still clan wars ya'know? just fight lower leveled clans and instant ownage again. now you can wear all your expensive items too without fear. clan wars, that is, if it wasn't about the money. even duel arena can still be fun i guess.

someone who isn't botting, someone playing to play, not make real cash. i was making a reference to how bots and farmers were able to sell amazingly low since they worked 24/7, making chopping yews longer and harder than it should be. now with only like 4 real players opposed to 20 bots to a tree, this is somewhat less stressfull now. players don't have all day, bots did. why, what did you think i meant? :?

i believe jagex knows what they are doing. all of these updates are easily adaptable to regular players. we actually have a stable, un-manipulative fair, economy. pures can't pk anymore, well, you should have thought about that before you made a NON-JAGEX SUPPORTED build. bots are gone, demand is high, REAL players are making money now. even this will come to pass....

well this game was (and apparently still is) intended for those who raise all stats. pures were only built for one thing, killing players whose stats were too low to do significant damage while yours was enough to maybe two hit them? you can argue that pures were designed to get the highest hits and completely exploit a low levels potential and make fighting as intense as possible. you would, however, be lying to yourself. pures were designed to pick on "weaker" players and obtain their items. they gave up one thing to do this... defence. now that defence is apparently a factor, pures are unhappy with this. well, i don't want to say it's your fault but... ehhh... yeah...

they are coming out with pking mini games and solo pking things right? you could strive to be a top ranking layer in those categories, as i'm sure theyd have highscore tables for that seeing all the new mini games. pures weren't initially intended for the game anyways. there are lots of other games where "pure" players eventually die out due to updates focused on regular playing. even now, if your hybrid has better stats than your main, wallah, a newer, better main. not a total loss i suppose. that's just my opinion though.
