You can get half keys, I believe. You can get half keys from random event gift boxes - not mystery boxes. I always go for the exp lamp or charms if they will get me more xp than the lamp, or half keys/good herbs like snapdragons.

The lower half of the table are evidently upping their games! Not much joy as a Leeds fan, but a good season overall. :thumbsup:

It's probably best doing it all through slayer. It's not that many levels you need. Your equipment looks good - but i strongly recommend getting a dragon defender. If it were me.... I would bury every bone got through slayer (or buy ~500 big bones and go to someone elses gilded altar to burn them) Charms for 40 summoning will come naturally from getting 2 ranged and 5 defence levels through slayer, as will 70 hp. - So don't worry about them. Might be worth ranging some blue dragons if you need a bit of cash, or just do it once again through slayer. Might be worth doing some defensive ranging (where range xp and defence xp is split)

Playing some casual fist of guthix when this guy comes up - haven't screenied a convo in years but thought this one was hilarious. It got cut off due to the fact most of it was in the waiting room. To put it this in context he's in the top 500 players and combat level 100+ with decent pure stats. In the first box of text, i had just killed him. There was then a gap between the first and second box where he was killing me but nothing was said. Wasn't gonna screenie till i saw the last thing he said, then it cut immediatly into another game. "Do you know what this is i'm wielding" Speaking to me like i'm some kind of idiot yet i'd already won. For those wondering he had a chaotic staff :rolleyes:

You get certain amounts of points per 10th and 50th task - nothing extra for 100th or 1000th. I recommend using a master you are comfortable with, then the highest you can for the 10th and 50th task to gain the extra points.

I'm going to do a mixture of slaying/bursting for charms/alching self made goods for magic exp. I'm interested in mixing up mage training a bit, so curious as to where people think the best places for single way combat magic exp is. Efficiency is not a major desire, i play at a more relaxed pace than most people do. I am P2P. Please note i am familiar with multi combat methods so presume all questions below relate to single way combat!! Setups/invos not really needed. I also do not want advice on any other way to train (ie lunars) so please don't post for the sake of posting. Where would be the most profitable place(s) to train magic? Where would be the fastest (best exp) place(s) to train magic? What is a decent mix of both? Anyone got a list of Kuradel slayer monsters weak to magic? Things to note: ~ I like to cycle around activities. ie Barrows for a few weeks, merchanting for a few weeks, slayer for a few weeks etc... ~ I'd like to get back in the top 500 fist of guthix players. ~ Going to be making a few thousand battlestaffs which i plan to alch. (97 craft would get me enough staffs for 94 mage...hmmm...) ~ Next level goal for magic is 94. I'm 88 currently. ~ I'm not rich (ie can't afford virtus) but i'm not poor (ie can afford arcane) Thanks

I use this link here, it basically shows the profitability based on the current market prices of the resources you get http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Miscellania I usually keep the workers and coffers topped up to 100% every week and collect my resources twice a month, i've found this works best for me and 2 weeks is about right for you to get a few yew/magic seeds in the nests which will significantly increase the profit. 9 Maples and 6 coal is best at the moment, although as others have said herbs aren't bad either and it may give you convenient way of training herblore

Only ever time i've been tempted was when everyone used auto typers back in fally park when i 'tried' to merchant. Never did though, and never will. Firstly my account is too precious to lose, secondly i take pride with having no black marks and thirdly i don't find any fun in cheating. I've never come across the opportunity to bug abuse, but would never do it - for the reasons mentioned about plus Jagex seem to detect it so easily
