    Random Events

One of the best thing about restricted trade was the significant reduction in random events. I had one every 2 weeks maybe? I could live with that. I've had 5 today... flipping hate the things. They're unnecessary interruptions, they waste precious stat boosts/time and make me lose fluidity when training. Cannot stand the balloon one, i rage log whenever i get it. And evil bob, cannot stand the fishing one. And today i accidentally gave the forester the wrong pheasant, he wasn't accepting any 2nd chance... just a gtfo he said and then he teled me to a random location - and i couldn't home tele for 5 minutes!! what's up with that?! (hadn't used it for days prior) Surely Jagex can improve their bot prevention, this is really pissing me off already!! /rant. EDIT.... #6 ARGGHHHHHHHHH
  2. Not just naff... impossible!! You could try cleaning herbs, but for 92 that's probably upwards of 100k herbs to clean lol. I don't think any viable method has a cost of less than 10gp/xp
  3. Hey - welcome to tipit :) There are thousands of users from the UK!! Are you at school/college/uni/work?

    Joe.

  4. at the moment i'm meleeing blues with melee protect prayer, and an antidragon shield, whilst using a bunyip to heal me from the added dragonfire - it's working fine but i'd prefer to use a dragon defender and pots as opposed to a shield and no pots.
  5. Azeem: That's not what i was asking, but thanks anyway. Last: Any idea how much? Enough for a bunyip to casually heal me when fighting blue dragons for example?
  6. [hide]So if using an anti dragon shield and antifire potion protects you from 100% of dragonfire, how about if i just use one? For example will both items protect from 50% of fire breath adding up to 100%, or is the ratio/percentage different? Thanks. (and fyi i do have 90 herby banked, just cba to make 30k potions atm)[/hide] just decided to get the 5 herblore levels i needed for super antis. closed.
  7. If you get the charms through slayer then you should certainly break even. I don't think your stats are good enough to camp for charms. (ie Rock Lobsters and Waterfiends)
  8. The branch i work in only does 2 flavours - Mango, and then Cranberry and Raspberry. They're £1.39 each and you buy them individually. The ones on amazon you linked to are the same size, but work out at £1.62 each if you include shipping. Might be worth just getting them over the internet, especially if you don't have a waitrose locally. Plus you get an extra flavour. However that's a long way for a glass bottle(s) to go without breaking. Your call. Either way an expensive habit!
  9. Come to Waitrose instead
  10. @ RESULTS Went to waitrose today on your behalf. (before you thank me, i'm not an incredible stranger, i just work there lol) They sell a couple if different flavours, i'm sure they'll deliver - probably works out cheapest there as opposed to buying it from amazon.
  11. Also i suggest going to waitrose - they always have a bizzare mix of almost identical looking products to snapple. Give it a try
  12. I had this from Asda once, a year or two back. Not sure if they still do it. Anyway, does this help? http://www.wholesalepages.co.uk/ukwholesalers/brand-snapple.html
  13. I did it. Never thought it was possible to have that many questions on dietary supplements. Look forward to seeing your animations!
  14. Great start to the day Don't ask me how i was so quick to take a screenie!! I was youtubing, and then my finger was pulled to the Prnt Scr button as soon as i saw it. Perfect timing! Got all my stuff back, and barrows protected over whip, zerker ring etc so i didn't have to repair anything
  15. You have to feel sympathy for these people. A few years ago i was doing a bank sale, stuff i was trying to merch basically. Advertised it on the forums, then had some guy PM me saying he'd buy my super defence potions or something. At the time i walked around world 2 with my bank, you just dont see the danger. He asked me to meet him in the monastery, but ofcourse as soon as i clicked i ran into the wildy (no wall at the time) and this guy had obviously looked up my stats and got some friends of a similar level that teleblocked/specs/froze me to death in level 1/2 wildy. GF 20m. Rage quit at the time haha. I thought i was completely fool proof >.< Until you have a personal experience, you have no sympathy.
  16. I think this is my best clue yet, didn't even have to go to wildy \:D/

    Gambling.

I've never considered myself a gambler, i've always thought it's a stupid waste of money. But i have recently started doing some accumulators in my local betting shop. I never spend more than £1 per week on betting the outcome of weekend football - so in my opinion, it's ok because i have boundaries. I see it as more of a bit of fun than anything else. I also play poker occasionally with some friends, but it would always be played on the basis that everyone puts in a few quid before the game and then winner takes all. I've also played video game tournaments with some friends on a similar basis. Some people in the local shop though place serious money on horses/greyhounds which is something i could never do. Too risky!! Are you old enough to gamble? Do you ever place any bets? If so, what on? How often do you risk money? What's the most you've ever won/lost? Is it a hobby/game or are you addicted? Do you do the lottery? Interesting to see if any other Tipiters do this (I understand this is a G - rated forum and in no way am i endorsing gambling. I think it's a topic we can all be mature about.)
  18. Please not this has not been confirmed by Jagex yet. (...but previous weekends have been announced 2 - 3 weeks in advance) EDIT: Confirmed!! 11 - 13th March Following suit of the last 2 Bonus Exp Weekends is it a fair assumption we should expect to see another one in March? The first one was held on the 12th March 2010, and the next one six months later. It's the 12th February as i type, so technically this could happen within the next month. Having somehow managed to buy supplies too late before previous events i thought I would make this thread to give tipiters a 'heads up' I have already banked all of my supplies i plan to sell before the event before they explode in price  Do you think Jagex will release another Bonus XP Weekend? Have you started planning yet? What will you train? Will the update of free trade effect things? Discuss/Speculate. (Thought this event warranted it's own thread, I am aware of the future updates thread)

    GCSE Art

Awesome photos, exactly the sort of thing they like at A level photography if you plan to do that. (it's more about the thought pattern/ongoing development process and your justification as opposed to the quality of photos you take which is what annoyed me, but you seem to have it sorted before you start the course - that is, if you do it!!) When i did my GCSEs no one ever did photography, it was pretty much all painting and drawing - shame really, but at least it inspired me to buy a camera etc.... As far as CC goes, i would only be picking up on minor points. 1st one Not sure whether you used a tripod or not. In my opinion the photo would look better if it was more 'squarer' At the moment it seems you are looking down on it a bit. It could also do with a slight crop from the right hand side. I would like to see the photo taken again, taken from a slightly lower and more central vantage point so that the lens is level with the cylindrical type pillar popping out of the bottom. By having the composition also slightly lower, it will make the light on the noticeboard seem more apparent, which is where the focus needs to be more in my opinion; My eyes are too centred on the light. 2nd one Like the idea once again. Would like to see the "Keep Off" sign slightly higher off the bottom so it becomes more of a part of the image - rules of thirds ;) (btw what lens did you use? Looks like a pretty decent wide angle) 3rd one Could do with a tad of straightening up, otherwise i like it - nice contrast again. 4th one Nice one - good shot 5th Nice idea, a bit bland though. Maybe could've been taken at a lower vantage point again, with a tiny horizon at the top? Also it lacks contrast, even the shadow of a boring playground tree would've made it better haha 6th Nice one again, i quite like your shadow on it. 7tth one Little bit bland again, the edges also look a little bit shopped. Anyhow, my GCSE art teacher would've kissed me infront of the whole class with pictures like that
  20. Shame this thread is dying... Seen a few bands in the last 2 months or so. InMe Dave McPherson Solo (InMe frontman) Four Year Strong + Wonder Years Brigade + Versus Lonely the Brave ...and a few local bands. Got 1 or two lined up. Plus Brigade are doing a 3 nighter at some pub in Islington i'm going to in April, can't decide whether to train it or drive - either way it's gonna work out waaaay expensive. Slam dunk festival line up is announced this wednesday - went to it last year. Was pretty awesome, will probably go again - it's usually in May sometime. Still hoping the Foos will play at Reading, even though i'm not sure if i'll go.... waaaay expensive yet again. Would be nice to get to a few more gigs but i've been to quite a few football matches recently which are quite a money sink. Especially when you're team is over 200 miles away :XD:
  21. A band called Hundred Reasons British rock how it should be!!
  22. That last video actually made me lol out loud, till you said you were kidding (but i don't believe you :-P) Sucks to lose that stuff, but you must be having a good time getting 50m a night though?
  23. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL I am a massive Shane Meadows fan, and yes, definatly agree with you on that one. She is strangely attractive in This is England. ------------------- Shannon Lucio [hide=Big Image][/hide] Also, Kate B from Underworld - not sure it's the leather or what, but she is fittttttt. [hide=Big Image][/hide] Edit: seems imdb is cleverer than me after all, just right click "open in new window/tab" to view image.
