I usally just use this to work out the profitability, and multiply it by the exp difference. I think what i was getting at is obviously with free trade some potions aren't going to be as much, some will be easier to sell for instance. Fletching pots look pretty good, but whos going to buy them? I remember fishing potions selling for 50gp http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Potions#Potion_calculator

So is +5 alot more common? What potions do you recommend making, taking into consideration they'd probably be sold after free trade.

I was thinking of all these ways to make money for 85 herblore so i could make super anitfires, then i thought why not get 86 and stew for extreme range. And then i realised i could do the seers diaries.... (i didn't even know the reward.) I'm short on cash atm, and didn't want to sell any items. But then i thought, sell my SGS (which is a bit overated anyway) - and buy 86 herblore (which i can then stew to get the enchanted Excalibur....) I only use SGS as a healing weapon anyway. Because they basically do the same thing, right? So i could level herby to 86 for the price i would get from selling my GS basically. Good idea? edit: what's the chance of a +6 stew?

Back in the day there was a sticky on the RSOF by a guy called "Tomisme" (don't ask me why i remember his name) in the items discussion forum. It was updated regularly and generally correct, i referred to it whenever i bought something on the forums. In fally park w2 you just looked at what people were buying/selling for. Other general things were common knowledge though (ie food, jewellery, ore, bars, logs, bones)

Anyway, a few predictions. - Will probably be implemented in the next 2 - 3 weeks. - Full torava to be 1.6 - 2b for a set for the next few months. - Christmas crackers will still be worth more than max cash, will have to be traded with rising new items (such as Torva in bulk) or multiple phats/rares. - More RWT PMs, maxed ignore list... - Rev's moved to wilderness volcano (i don't think they'll remove them) - Full rune back to 200k - Massive G/E fun, for example people quit and dump all their items on the G/E for 1gp. Alot of snipers me thinks. And after about 12 months when they realised why they took free trade away in the first place they'll start selling their own Gold to create more profit...

I used the kyatt method, (after about 10 brute force attempts) Kyatt owns him hard, imo essential if you want AOW status. Also, i lost alot of money using barrows armour because when you die you have to repair it... Looks good so far though

I'd like to think mods don't troll, but it's hard to respond without a specific budget.

tbh i can't see bandos crashing, maybe for like a day. there's a massive difference between affording 40mil armour to 500mil armour. Only the most hardcore PvMers and slayers will be able to afford to use it.

i want to get 70 rc to get all skills 70+ (dung is just a minigame imo) isn't their a correlation between skills you get up using the dragonkin lamp? for example at level 50 you'd get 5000xp and level 60 you'd get 6000xp. Are you implying the percentage of xp you get goes up when you get to higher level for example level 50 = 5k xp. lvl 60 = 6.5xp lvl 70 = 8.5kxp or something

At the moment i'm casually slaying till 99 defence (93 def and 81 slayer atm) However after 99 defence i'll probably stop slaying for a while and try to get some more stats to their nearest 0, or million exp. Plus i'll finally start dungeoneering. After tonight i'll have just 2 skills left (apart from dung) to get all skills 70+ (RC 65 and hunter 66) At the moment when i'm slaying i use assist clan chats to get my dragonkin lamp straight away and i just use it on RC. However after i stop doing combat i'm wondering if i'll regret not saving my effigies for when i get their given skills up to use them. Because atm i'm effectively giving someone else exp that i could get myself if i just waited. So atm i'm considering just getting (some of, not all) 91 craft, fm, cooking, fletch, wc and fishing so i could at least get some exp when i get effigies (- on top of that there will be people i can assist to get the skills up even more. (this will be especially helpful since i have a tendancy to sit at the g/e (like i am now) doing nothing) or i could just save the effigies and not worry about RC. or something else. Make me think! :)

Thought i'd share this with ya'll. Always kept this to myself but it won't be much use when (and if :rolleyes: ) free trade comes back. All done in the space of 5 minutes. Step 1. Buy the items (3071k) - They sell instantly. Step 2. Make the shields with a hammer (That's an almost instant 1300k. More or less 27k profit per shield) Step 3. ????????????????????????? Step 4. Log on to world 2/check RSOF. Lend your item(s) - higher the value of the item, the more you get. I usually lend my SGS/Dragon Claws for 24hr for 1mil, that's only another 5 - 10 minutes sitting at the G/E. If you do it properly you can shift 7mil worth of junk in a week (2700k - 3000k profit, and you're getting rid of junk) I've only shared this since it's probably the last week you'll be able to do it. Those are probably the last shields i'm buying.

Completely forgot to do the Christmas Event haha - thought never even crossed my mind. Looking forward to this quest :thumbup:

Welcome to my list of very small suggestions Just a list, mainly for personal ideas of small ways to improve the game. The list will get updated as i come up with new ideas. Feel free to comment, add, discuss etc #1. Have a right click, bury bones when they are on the ground, similar to the way you can drop logs and right click "light". #2. Make Suqah teeth, long and curved bones notable so rewards can be gained without ardous banking #3. Sort out quest list by quest series/storylines for better/clearer questing #4. Introduce a "Slayer Box" to store all slayer related items (ie Fungicide, ice coolers, fishing explosives, Salt) would like to develop this idea #5. Make it possible to report people for "offensive names" without them having to speak. I can find their name offensive without them speaking, right? #6. Create a chat radius option. Quite often when slaying i find myself having conversations with people, and i miss half of what they say because we're too far apart in the room. #7. Create more herblore gloves in the fist of guthix minigame. yay i just got 80 herblore for my new cadantine gloves, oh wait - they're 1k each.... #8. I want my jug back when i make potions using the wine of zamorak. 76gp disappears right there. #9. I'm fed up of going through chat dialogs to buy a drink at a bar, owners should have a shop window/give you the option to buy X. Buying greenman's ales in Yannile made me rage log! #10 What is the point of runecrafting pouches decaying? They make an annoying skill more annoying. And they decay too fast. #11. Runescape Casino - works similar to the Burthorpe Games room, i have a couple of ideas. I'm fed up of scammers/flower games/dices games (not that i've been scammed) #12. Prayer boosting gear for mages please #13. Have some sort of special attack meter somewhere other than the regular screen. I find it annoying when i'm using a weapon specifically for it's special attack and i can't see how much of the bar is full due to the fact my primary weapon doesn't have a special attack. #14. Why can't extremes be noted? Sure even if they can't be traded they could still be noted. Spent what feels like, and probably is hours converting my herblore goods to 4 dose potions. #15. I'd like to know when I registered my account... surely Jagex have this information? #16. Other Fist of Guthix rewards need updating (in addition to #7). It's still a popular game - perhaps some different rewards like antipoisons you can buy with tokens, that can only be used within the game. #17. Have a longer grand exchange history, or the ability to save the information on some trades. It would also be nice for items costing less than 100k to show up on there (filiter or something?) I want to remember what i spent big money on, for money making reasons.
