Yeah i know its not a hack he he Wasn't sure about bug, but would it have been possible for the guy to use any sort of spell/spec attack on me whilst i was hunting him?!

So i'm playing fist of guthix. I entered the game and was assigned as the hunter... When i got to the middle, my magic level had been reduced by 14 levels... What could have done this?

Making green dragonhide bodies is 50% cheaper than red ones, - didn't even bother calculating the black ones. Is glory making good?

I've decided this is going to be my first 99. Could someone give me the general idea of what people do to get there? Plus any ideas? These are the ones i came up with... Cutting gems? Making strength/power/glories? Making Green d'hide bodys? I want to do it so it is not tedious (ie not cutting 750,000 opals) But cost efficient at the same time... (ie i'd rather spend 50mil and it take 2 weeks, than spend 1mil and it take 2 monthes) Thanks EDIT: What's the best way to do air battlestaffs? Is it best to just buy the battlestaffs and attach the orbs, or take the time to make the orbs myself?

^ Disagree... How much data are you including when you say fire giants frop crimson charms more regulary than greater deamons? That's crazy, i'd say for greator deamons a crimson in 1 in every 4 kills, but i fire giant it's not even 1 in 10....

Guthan's is better to train with, but only because of it's set effect, in my opinion it is worthless now there are healing familiars and the sgs. Verac's is good for minigames and monster hunting... What exactly do you want to do?

If you don't have any use for Verac's, sell it. If you can't afford Guthan's, you can't buy it. What do you plan on doing with yuor combat?

On a task on ~100 I average around 40 gold charms, 6 green charms (mainly from wild dogs though) 10 crimson and about 3 blue. After the trip i usually leave with about 50 - 60k coin pile which is everything alched (fire battlestaffs, rune scimmys, mith shields etc...) Plus at least another 20k in runes normally. I'd say another 20k in arrows/herbs too...

My two cents... They just want to make the elite feel more special. To be honest - they do have the most experience in any skills and their opinions are going to be valued more than your average runescaper. I'd rather have players that know what they're doing, and how to improve the game making suggestions, than a jagex mod. A maxed out player would have more knowledge than most Jagex staff on the in - game aspects of the game.

Slayer, dusties or greater demons until you're 80-80-80. Go waterfiends after that. Burst rock lobsters if you want mage xp. Do the quest for bork, he gives me like 6k xp/day in charms. I agree with that, and you can kill bork with those levels. Sorry, - didn't see your stats when i suggested waterfiends!

Hmm Waterfiends, rock lobbies... Kill Bork once a day too :)

That setup lasted me about 75 giants just incase you were wondering (when i was your levels) Even a few more later i can't do much more than that. I take alching runes and a super pot too

The higher your slayer level, the better for blue charms really. I thought you said you could fight through nearly anything Get your slayer higher than 59... higher combat levels would speed it up too :) Just collect charms as you get slayer up, just save blues if you're really going to take it seriously and use all the others.

I'm actually shocked looking through these answers :o The only time i've really played alot is when i've been ill, that would be maybe 6 hours at my max? Maybe 8 when i snapped my leg in half, but stil that wasn't continuous play - but it might've been over 1 day. In ths summer holidays i can't see how anyone would want to play runescape more - i spend the time with my friends doing stuff lol

Everyone says don't use barrows because the repair costs are too high... But the (eg) torag legs stats are so much better than bandos tassets for example. Now let me just tell you this. Torag legs are about 250k? Tassets are about 8 - 9mil? I bet you could train all your melee stats to 99 without spending 7750k on repair costs, plus torag legs are better... Now i know that you wont get the repair costs back - but in my eyes it's barrows all the way.

You should easily be able to do it with that - maybe use better armour if you can afford it. Don't forgot your anti-dragon shield!!
