It all depends on how many people are in your team, the ratio of rangers/meleers/magers, the levels of the other people in your team, the quality of equipment they'll be using, how many cannons will be there... etc...

I love black deamons, hellhounds, kalphites and greators! Black dragons are OK, don't really like iron or steels but i don't understand why alot of people are saying similar things! Those tasks are just such fast and easy exp...

Can someone compare the speed for me please? I know the whip is the speed of a dagger, is the godsword the speed of say a battleaxe?

So why do i see people training with godswords? (ie fire giants, greator deamons, kalphites) Surely the dds spec beats them? Maybe i'll borrow one for an hour or two for one or two slayer tasks but i don't really do monster hunting so it's all good :D

Well i've been seriously considering buying a Bandos Godsword... Currently i use a whip for everything which works fine for me, but can someone please comment on the way that i'm weighing up the argument now? I just seem to see people using them everywhere, but to me the whip seems sooo much better... Whip pros: :D Very fast :D Can use a shield for extra defence meaning less food needed when training :D Cheap Whip Cons: :( Not as powerful as a godsword. Godsword pros: :D Very powerful Godsword Cons: :( Can't use a shield :( Expensive/unstable price :( Very slow ***For every 10 hits with a godsword, how many hits could you do with a whip? Only managed to kill 5 dogs (as it's my slayer assignment) and then had to tele because i was out of food? Now my question is... To get back to the dogs, do i have to go all the way through mort myre swamp and then through the mine again? And also - the slayer ring, does it tele you straight to the dogs? Bah sorry i didn't make it clear enough and i confazzeled my words. I meant unstrung symbols - know what i mean? They aren't fantastic exp, but you can get pretty good exp if you concentrate - use port phas furnace or al kharid.

If you want to break even make unstrung ammys - that's what i did from 60 - 70 (was f2p at the time) It's pretty hard to break even doing anything else...

Very nice!! 10/10 Getting 99 is one thing but taking it one step further requires a little too much insanity.

I have similar levels to you and usually get on average 1 kill per monkfish.. If you're doing slayer obviously use a black mask/slayer helm and pot up. I tend to use super defenses with monsters higher than my own combat level. Imo prayer is unessercery if keeping drops... Not sure if there are any safespots.

Very hawt... Still doesn't make up for the fact that you wore a slayer mask for a ranging task :

Well my attack and strength are 80, and my defence is 79. My slayer will be 69 by the end of the day and i want to get 80 defense at the same time as 70 slayer.... After a few experiments with myself, i still can't figure out how much defense xp i get per 1k slayer exp... When i get 69 slayer, i'll have roughly 100k defence xp left. It's about 70k exp from 69 to 70 slayer So will 100k defense exp come faster than 70k slayer exp? I think it will, but would like some suggestions - maybe train magic/range (with defense exp) at the same time? Stats are in sig - thanks!
