Yes, I own a Chaotic Rapier. I use it almost exclusively for slayer and it works better than I could have imagined. :thumbup:

I think I'll also stick with my spear, I like the benefits of the skilling rings and I'd like to get more into mage.

Boosted level's last 1 minute (without the berserker curse on) and Bunyip's last 44 minutes. So with one 4-dose pot of extreme's you will want to wait 11 minutes (11 dropped levels from your max) until you repot.

This quest has indeed given us a lot of trouble. The guide has already gone through multiple major edits and it's still hard to be clear on the steps, not to mention it being too easy to lose your spot in the puzzle "code" (1,d,3,f,2,b,ect...) I actually found time to do the quest and review our guide for errors a couple days ago. I found the steps needed to complete puzzles 1-3 was good but I got terribly lost for the last couple of puzzles, 4 & 5. Believe it or not I managed to complete the puzzle without know what I did right; so I was unable to find what may or may not be wrong in the guide. Since this is a Help & Advice topic, I won't go without giving as much help as I can :blink: I know you must get the puzzle to look like this for #4: If possible, I'm going to try the puzzle after completing the quest, and figure out what needs changing.

Added, thanks for the suggestion. I've also added a "cheap" setup in the alternate setups section. And added names for items used for all the setups (other than the chaos tunnels setup). :thumbsup:

If you could find the exp rate for anything new that you may make, it would be greatly appreciated. :P

Nothing comes close to rapier for slayer (I have a rapier). It also works very well at TD's.

I can now confirm a player cannot gatestone teleport out during the special attack. :P

What kind of setup would you like to see?

I am of course excited for the dungeoneering expansion. I love the construction hotspot idea. I'm also the type of person who doesn't do TT anymore; maybe the elite clues will encourage me.

I choose to make all my setup pictures with a dragonstone (i) because I do not yet have 300 MA rank :wall: and I still prefer it over berserker, warrior or seers (i) because it has all around bonuses. And for the Onyx (i), it's protects over to many items on death (not that it's a big issue) and it's very expensive. But once I have 300 MA rank, I'll probably change the pictures to have the Onyx. As for Overloads and Super prayers - I would love to have a high level inventory picture, but I sadly cannot make overloads. If you wanted to take a screenshot of an invo with overloads and super prayers, I will gladly add it to the guide. :D (please make it .png format) I haven't done any testing with Veracs; how does it compare to dharoks, z spear or at chaos tunnels? The majority of people I see these days (all of them being higher level) do not use prayer; or just no protection prayers. With 90+ defense, the appropriate armor, a SGS or EE special and a heal good healing familiar, it's easy to tank waterfiends. I chose to use extremes for the same reason I chose to use karils over d'hide in most of the pictures. As for the Z spear / Sara sword debate, I actually use the two of them quite a bit (ss for str training and z spear for slayer tasks) and I found it depends on the situation for which is better. So I may consider changing the wording for the sara sword and make it more of an equal to the z spear. I really don't like the Anchor, but because the content in the guide should be based on popularity and not my opinion, I'll add it. :P Thank you for reminding me about alching, I will add that in the tips section. :thumbup: I thought about adding names, but I didn't want to clutter up the guide. Ranged can be a very effective at waterfiends, and they can be easily safe spotted in the ancient cavern, but like said above, it's slower. Just make sure you're using potions and even ranged prayers.
