This is a short and simple guide to using the best method for killing Thunderous. What you will need Weapon - Two-Hander, Battleaxe or Spear Cosmic Runes - Gatestone teleport Rejuvination Potions - Optional Food Thunderous' Attacks Melee This is a simple attack, which Thunderous will swing his arm at you. It can be fully protected by prayer and he will only use it if you, or your entire team, is within his melee distance. Magic This attack is powerful and will hit through mage prayer. It's advised to avoid this attack; do so by standing either in Thunderous' melee range or hiding behind a pillar. Even walking from behind a pillar to his melee range will allow him to use this attack. Tele-Grab Thunderous will yell "Come closer!" when this happens, run behind a pillar as fast as possible. This is the worst special attack to be caught in because it will grab you, throw you across the room, drain prayer points, heal Thunderous, stun you and disable prayer, allowing Thunderous to melee you. Earthquake Thunderous will yell "This is... TRUE POWER" when this happens, run behind a pillar. Your screen will shake as rifts appear everywhere inside the room. If you get caught in this attack, you will be hit with very high damage. The Strategy Upon entering the room, start attacking the mages; there's no need to kill them, distracting them is enough. After four mages are distracted, Thunderous will emerge free and kill the mages. Drop a gatestone next to Thunderous, within his melee range and protect melee. Thunderous will begin attacking you; make sure you/your team never leaves thunderous' melee distance unless he uses a special attack. Doing so will cause him to use his magic attack, which will hit through prayer and damage you badly. As soon as you see text above Thunderous (or hear him yell) run behind the nearest pillar, until the special attack is over. After use gatestone teleport to get back into his melee distance. Without gatestone teleport, Thunderous will use his magic attack upon running back to his melee range. Make sure to make/drop another gatestone after you teleport. Strategy Summery Protect melee prayer Always stay within melee range of Thunderous (aside from hiding behind a pillar) Always keep a gatestone next to Thunderous, in his melee range When text appears above Thunderous, or you hear him yell, run behind a pillar After a special attack teleport back to Thunderous, do not run back Remember to make/drop a gatestone after teleporting Video Guide Video is done in c1 and beginning is messed up. First, I'll do a farming tree run, then I'll train herblore with whatever supplies I can get, then dungeons until x1.1 and finally I'll do summoning and dungeons again. Meh, I'm not as into this double exp weekend as much as I was the last.

I think that's the one thing they can't do.

Dg Elites is defiantly the best clan, but it has very high requirements (93 dg atm) You can hang out in their cc or irc (dg elites and #dg-elites) and finding a team is typically easy and no one will rage-quit/leech.

An updated version of the guide needed to be released. A picture of a Paramastyx and Submastyx are still needed.

Right now I'm training dunge because I want to get to X level. But I also really enjoy dungeoneering, and when I train with people who are really fast, I can play it all night.

Depends on how you use it, for gd clearing - shortbow; for bosses - longbow.

No other world compares to the amount of people in w117. The only other option you have is probably joining a dungeoneering clan or hanging out in a clans cc or irc chat. DG Elites is one of the highest level and pro clans out there.

I'm not upset there wasn't an update today or this week. I'm not going to bash Jagex in the slightest. I (try to) understand how hard it is to code a game the size of runescape and coordinate staff the size of Jagex. I'm a Tip.it crewbie and every time runescape is updated we update the mainsite with the necessary changes, and every update I (sometimes) understand the difficultly with communication issues between co-workers; so I have sympathy for Jagex staff. I will say however, Jagex should have their planned updates ready to be released days, weeks or even a month before they plan on releasing it. The J-mods response sounds to me like they're saying: "we had it planned, but we came across a fault on Friday and Monday;" when they should have had that issue resolved days in advance. My two cents
