I'm pretty sure it's range level. That'd give both max hit as well as accuracy, which it seems to do.

You just made this post out of hype. -.- It's only a rumor that God pages were taken out of Trails. They're still there and kicking. As for being in Vyrewatch burns, I didn't get any in my 500 burns, nor did anyone else I know. So it probably would have been added recently, with Jagex making some note at the end of an update like "the rewards from burning Vyrewatch funeral pyres have been expanded to include Prayer Book pages! Happy Scaping!". Which they didn't do, as far as I know. But yeah, not cool posting that like it's a fact to try to get people into a tizzy about it.

I believe it adds 10% to your range level? For instance, at 90 range, it's like you have 99 permanently whilst wearing it. Which means more accuracy, and higher hits. But it's only useful on monsters where attack bonus doesn't matter as much. Semi low def monsters and such. Of course, when you're a higher ranged level, there's almost nothing with defense too high for it to be worth it. Void range ftw.

So no one but me saw this thread when it started and assumed it was a troll? Honestly. You don't talk to trolls. :P

I was sick and tired of Firefox crashing all the time (of course, this was the beta), so I started playing on Safari, and I like it a lot more, actually. Plus, it means that if I accidentally open, like, a video online and it unexpectedly quits, I don't DC at gargoyles or something. :P Of course I'm sure you're not Mac, so you might want to use the client from the site. I would if I could.

Yeah, smelting mith bars is a bad idea. :P

I'm liking Duradel. He rarely gives me anything I'm not happy with. Abberants, dusties, black demons, bloodveld... they've been pretty nice lately. But if you really only want slayer exp, stay with Chaeldar. If you want drops, points, and speed all middling, do Sumona.

Smith mith bolts. Not much loss. If you want, you could make enough money smelting steel bars (and possibly making cballs) to not lose anything making mith bolts.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!

Haha, I agree with Bellz (though he could've said it a bit kinder), those really aren't good Bandos tank stats. :P Seriously, I'm better than your stats all over there and I'm a horrid Bandos tank. But alas, this is not H&A, so congratulations on 90 def. It is indeed ftw. -
Technically, it's for the hardcore meleers. :P Rangers and magers slay, too. A helmet wouldn't do much for them.
-
Summoning. Expensive as herblore, plus as time consuming (charm hunting) as slayer, equals a hard to train skill.
-
You're barely unlucky. You'd need 10x that for it to look like actual Aviansie bad luck. :P I almost guarantee that if you killed 450 more, it'd even out better.
-
I'd say 80s in all for real iron hunting. I suppose if you had 70 mage or so you could use chaos gauntlets and get some good kills, but it would take forever. I really don't suggest hunting them for no reason with your levels.
-
Bahaha, what? Turning them into bodies loses you a TON of money. :P It doesn't look like you'd have gotten access to Oo'Glog for infinite run, so the Crafting Guild method is probably the fastest, if you have 10 or so skills necklaces.
-
Hm, 74 def is quite low. I should've checked your stats before suggesting that. :P Try the next trip with a few ppots and Proselyte. 4 4-doses should last you a load with a TBird.

First, only get 71 smithing. You can buy a Dwarven Stout (m) off the GE fairly easily. And then, only get 67 farming, as a garden pie is also quite simple to get, and you only need the boost for planting, not picking. Second, try mining and banking iron ore, and then smelting it with rings of forging, and either selling them or smithing them into knives. Then use the money you make from that to buy mithril bars and feathers to make bolts, and sell those. You only lose a small amount of money with that technique, and it's a nice speed. For farming, buy Snapdragon, Ranarr, or Toadflax seeds, and do farming rotations between all the patches, and go between them every couple hours harvesting and planting more. For supercompost, just pick pineapples in Brimhaven, or buy from the shop in Catherby. You could also put MTK workers on Maples, and use the seeds you receive there to plant trees and earn some very fast exp. Farming will take a while, but herb farming makes a lot of money, and isn't that bad if you remember to do it often.

Darn, the red dragon hunting guide isn't back yet, huh? Well, I suggest bringing 24 pineapple pizzas, stuffing the bones and hides in the terrorbird. If you run out of inv space, bury some bones and pick up hides in their stead. After you finish one load, either add or remove food, until you know how much you use. Red dragons are a great alternative to greens, you'll like them.

To answer your question, that would be 3rd age armor. BUT to answer your question plausibly, it would be Bandos armor, if you don't want Rune or Dragon. Full 3rd age armor costs around... 180m now? It's hard to remember, since it's near impossible to buy on the GE. It's a status symbol, not an armor. Full Bandos costs around 25-30m nowadays, and gives a very nice strength bonus, and is a good bit stronger than Dragon. Although, Torag's plate and legs gives much higher defense, and only costs around 600k. Repairing it isn't that expensive, and you do it a lot less often than you'd think. Though it's your choice.

For the longest time, I've had an awesome combat-total ratio. Somewhere in the 18 range. But in the past few months of playing, I've been doing a TON of combat. Be it GWD, DKs, Miths, Aviansies, or just slayer. Now my ratio has gone down to 16.64, and I do sort of regret going so all out in combat and getting to 117, but my main goal in RS is still skilling. For now, I want a leet slayer level (85+), and a nice 100m base cash pile from GWD. Then I'll get back on track with skilling (99 agil, all stats 80+, 99 herb if I have enough cash, etc.) Once a skiller, always a skiller. 8-)

I was a girl for a really long time in RS. Not to get free items, but because the girl avatar looks a lot cooler in things like Guthans, plate armor, and the dialogue box and such. But the saddest thing is that people actually were noticeably nicer to me. It's so incredibly stupid that the RS community judges you based on your "supposed" gender. It angers me so. -.- Gasp! Is it possible that the common RS player is... is less than intelligent? :o
-
Thus why all my combat is done through slayer.

I hate summoning, but it would be ridiculous for someone with a low summoning level to make such harsh judgment on it. As Heavendor said. I'm 70, which is decent. I can use bunyips, war tortoises, fruit bats, etc... but nothing has changed my mind. Even though I haven't been able to try out the unicorn yet, which is supposed to be a near be-all-end-all, the 91 RC of the summoning world, I still wouldn't find it worth the hours upon hours, and millions of gp poured into the pit that is Summoning.
-
Nope. It's fairly widely known that void is the best for chinning. It's the reason most people get void ranged. :P

Just got my helmet the other day, and I think I'll learn how to make rings next. Can someone list the teleports it has?

No, they're better than most gaming companies, they let you play the game free, for an unlimited amount of time. You should be happy you can play at all, and they're not being greedy at all. Runescape has been known for having a very good free version of the game. If they make this huge fuss about the new detail without saying once previously that it's members only, that's pretty damn annoying. Maybe not greedy, but certainly scummy to bait them like that. By the way, I'm a member, and have been for 3 years. I'm just in favor of f2p rights.
