  1. 1. Old promises and glitches left unfulfilled or unfixed. - Dwarf questline was supposed to be 8 quests long - this upcoming one is only the 3rd... - They said they would redo old quests in new mechanics, graphics, and allow people to replay them. - Some of the most expensive features in my Player-Owned-House are not performing correctly since long before HD. - They have generally abandoned Construction. - Players do not decide the prices of new items as was promised. 2. The gradual unbalancement of everything with combat. - Melee will almost always win VS. Magic. Not so with Ranged. In fact, they're on equal footing hybriding. - Hybriding still isn't fixed. - Melee armor provides huge melee and Ranged Defense. - - Magic armor provides very little Magic or melee Defense. - - Ranged armor provides high Magic Defense but low Ranged Defense. - Robes suck and freezing someone in place doesn't help in the slightest. - Magic still has a high per-attack cost. - Magic still has no real KO potential. - Magic is more like a grab bag of gimmicks. - In 'fun' or 'free' PvP, Magic isn't as commonly used (the per-attack cost). - - There is an overabundance of melee VS melee fights. - - There is basically melee VS everything else, and simply others like Ranged VS. Ranged are not usually as fun. - Attack, Strength, and Defense are not equally useful but count equally in combat levels gained. - Summoning isn't anywhere near as easy to use (in combat) as Prayer, and usually just ends up adding empty combat levels. - High level equipment is in low supply. - - Everyone uses the same few equipments. - - You are unable to be successful with lower level equipment; protection relies too much on equipment and not enough on Defense level. - - The highest level armors are only very slightly better than predecessors yet cost millions more. 3. Broken skills are abundant. - Nearly every skill will never profit now. - Construction is abandoned, as well as others. - Slayer was bound to only work well for a certain amount of time. - - Dynamically valued drops are needed. - Almost all collection skills do not get easier at high levels by unlocking faster content to train with. 4. Updates are no-where near as plentiful as they used to be. - I love HD, I will no longer play without HD, but the fact is that making things prettier means slower development time. - JaGEx used to be able to make deadlines without sacrificing quality, but they claim they no longer can. 5. Through the Grand Exchange, people lose your money against your will. - If you have an item that a group of people panic sell, you lose money, although you have done nothing. - JaGEx seems to have formally stated that they will do nothing about manipulators. - - Manipulators are abundant. - On very high-valued items you are able to lose millions at a time. - - Obviously the actual lost values are based on proportions, but are still too high in most cases. - - You shouldn't lose money from doing nothing at all. 6. This post is likely to be skipped over. - And nothing in it corrected for years. - Enough said.
  2. All I can say is gratz...I want some now =P~ goodness gracious ... GRATS! Two 3A rewards (on this thread) in a week? An encouraging coincidence. :P
  3. 99/100. Go Magic!
  4. Obviously the reason that the God Wars Dungeon is frozen is because Zamorak won and used the Zamorak Godsword special attack. \
  5. 5/10. It's okay.
  6. Thanks for clearing that up. You don't seem to understand why I drew that conclusion. One of the simplest points is that Guthix seemingly could've stopped the wars at any time, but only chose to after the last great battle involving the Godsword. This alone tells me that the Godsword must be more significant than you make it out to be, even if it doesn't raise all of our stats to 255 from merely touching it. Also, the Stone of Jaz having multiple names may mean that it wasn't as well understood by the different gods or factions. The Godsword, as far as I know, has only ever been called the Godsword, which could possibly indicate that both its power and function, because it is so powerful, are very well understood by anyone or anything that knows about it.
  7. It should be noted that the spellings of 'vampyre' and 'vampire' are not consistent within the game. In fact, the distinctions go so far as to say that they are entirely different creatures with different origins. If I remember correctly, the vamp_res within the dark forests in Morytania are exclusively spelled one way while all others are spelled the other way. Furthering to what I said, the vamp_res in Hollowvale seem much more sentient while the ones in the forest are aggressive, attacking randomly, and don't talk, or barely wear clothes for that matter. @Everyone about my earlier post - I conceded that since they said last great battle, I could be wrong. However, seeing as it would have been the last great battle, which means that Guthix stepped in shortly after, wouldn't that also indicate that Guthix was wearier of them getting ahold of the Godsword than any other artifacts? Which I take to mean that the Godsword in a god's hands is even more powerful than the Stone of Jaz or Staff of Armadyl, even leading to a similar possible conclusion that I stated earlier: the Godsword might not have been the only reason, but it would have still been the main reason.
  8. How about a badge added to any cape or back-worn item? It could be fairly simplistic, and add decent stats. The idea I envision is a small badge, a little bigger than the Seal of Passage, shaped like a curved upside down cone, with all of the different colors of the banners on it. It's small, so it doesn't really intrude, but it's the only thing like it, so it's easily recognizable. As for stats I'd say +7 down the list. It's not overpowered, and adds a decent bonus. It doesn't take up any equipment spot; it just appears when you wear something on your back. For exact positioning, I think it should be centered on your character's left Achievement Cape strip, or where that would be if they're not wearing an Achievement Cape. If you want some much more complex ideas then I left a much longer post somewhere on this thread earlier.
  9. The Lunar clan itself isn't dangerous, but the Stone of Jas was there. There's land north of Lunar Isle/Fremminick Islands areas. King Vargas says so, if I remember correctly. Apparently he likes to go adventuring toward the north. Also the Penguins are the in north, and they're a threat as well. The penguins are more like a comic relief quest series and likely have absolutely no impact on any serious quests. [hide=However,]if you did the latest penguin quest then you would know that the slugs are taking some of them over. I would consider the slugs a valid danger, but this connection is still slim at best.[/hide]
  10. I think you messed up a bit on Leon... He only melees, so why use Protect from Missiles, and if no items are allowed, why recommend food?
  11. 3/10... You're only allowed to post vague, strange, psychotic face shots of well known anime characters!
  12. At first I thought you were referring to yourself.
  13. The Knowledge Database actually specifically states that the Godsword was the reason for the God Wars... You may be right though, since it says the last great battle.
  14. Ooh... Looks like you did something neat with your house...
  15. I fought it in Skeletal and never saw the magic attack... \ The boss fight's mechanics and animations were the best I've seen yet. Maybe they could make pieces of Kree'arra's and Graardor's armors fly off as they die, with a chance to repair them. Or pieces of edible jelly from Jellies! There are many possibilities. Looking forward to localized damage. Yeah... I solo'd Graardor for the Femur after two duo kills and two Bork kills. Killing General Graardor really isn't too difficult, and it was better than waiting another day for Bork which I don't kill normally. The Ramskull Helmet(E) has some very slight differences in appearance. Unfortunately if you are one of those who crave status, someone who hasn't done the quest likely won't know the difference anyway. To be specific, there's now arches on the sides and top, but they're barely noticeable. If anyone has had the Bonesack after it was updated but before they completed the second wishlist, please post any suspected difference in appearance...
  16. Does the bone not drop on LootShare since it's a quest item?
  17. What's wrong with a pun on "Hide" and seek? Because fur sounds nothing like hide. And it makes no additional sense like, say, Cold War. But Boned makes some sense, since you're collecting bones, and once you've collected all of them, well... Boned in the sense of 'screwed'. You'll understand it if you finish the second wishlist.
  18. I can't help but feel their title isn't their most creative. How about Boned instead? I have everything but the Femur... -.-
  19. Lol, you're gettin pwned by a midget XD Yeah... He hit me a 19 but I was already more than half dead by the time I reached him. So his power hasn't diminished. And his hitpoints are more appropriate now... -.-
  20. WTF is this [cabbage]!? That's one of the laziest moves ever by JaGEx! His head was peaking out of the ground of the floor above so they shrank him instead of fixing it... :wall: + Everything that was broken before is still broken in my POH.
  21. 110x100 pixels, only allowed 100x100 7/10 On the properties it says scaled to 100x100. 7/10 to l0rd. :
  22. Who says? :? 18.19/20 kb! <-Not a rating.
  23. 8/10. I've no idea what it is, but it's clean.
  24. I rented InFamous. It was good, not great, but of course every game of its genre deserves a bit more credit than others, especially in InFamous where the city is so ingeniously laid out. Having only one or two enemy factions (or, rather, everyone in those factions looking the same) gets very boring. If anyone is trying to decide between InFamous and Prototype (since they're the same sort of game) I'd recommend Prototype.
