I seem to have unnaturally bad luck now, but my luck wasn't horrible a few years ago. I could usually expect at least one Barrows item every 20 openings (duo- and team- farming!) and I got special Gnome Delivery rewards with frequency. I sometimes wonder if I'm being punished... -.- I probably am for not merchanting, PK'ing, staking, PC'ing, or getting blackmarks. And for selling Guthan's Platebody for 2.5m when it was worth 12.5m+... Luck isn't balanced if someone consecutively gets good drops while someone else doesn't. That's almost like saying that if I steal from someone, it's balanced, because even though that person no longer has the item I stole, I have it... Your 50-80m in 500 kills > my 1.5m (ruined piece split) in 500 kills :|

Where exactly is the logo used on all of the apparel even used on this site? :?

I didn't know there was one, and would not expect that there would be. I doubt the official RuneScape stuff sells well; I can't even imagine apparel for a fan site, albeit one of the bigger-named ones selling at all.

Hey, since you could basically be called a Castle Wars master, I'm curious as to what you would consider your playing style during Castle Wars. Do you focus entirely on winning? Or do you just harass the other team? Do you buy and use items specifically for Castle Wars success, such as the Zamorak Godsword, Spear, Armadyl armor, Mage's Book, and Master Wand? Do you throw around terms like stacked and smashed? Are you in a Castle Wars clan? Please answer in no particular order and include anything you consider interesting or relevant.

Agreed. However, there is also the fact that mages pay on a per-attack basis rather than a one-off cost like warriors. Being able to pack a certain amount of runes into one item and having unlimited or nearly unlimited usability (in most situations) of that item would be ideal, and I'll make a suggestion on these forums later regarding that. Ranged is about half-way between the other two (as far as ammo goes) and only needs to be supplemented in certain areas.

They already proved it runs perfectly with 256 players playing simultaneously at E3. The people playing were all over the USA. It was as smooth as even the smoothest COD game. Then hopefully I'm not the only one touting it as the could-be Halo/COD killer. I just really haven't heard too much about it... Probably because it's a PS3 exclusive...

As more than one person has already pointed out, the XBox360 can easily cost just as much as the PS3 once you get all of the components and pay for XBoxLive. What I don't understand is why some of you think that PS3 games are more expensive. From what I've seen, most new games are the same price on both the XBox360 and PS3. As for the BlueRay I believe I would be correct in guessing that most people who buy the PS3 with the BlueRay as one of the top reasons are seeing it rather as buying the BlueRay and getting a PS3 with it. No one here has seemed to acknowledge that the PS3 is also much more aesthetically pleasing, both physically console-wise and virtually menu-wise. However, this isn't much of a selling point if you're not right there, in store, looking at the two side-by-side. Concerning is that the PS3's supposedly best exclusive, KillZone2, seems to have so few online players. If there are few people to play with online then the free online play becomes less of a selling point. It is rather hard to name any stereotypes for PS3 users, but there are quite a lot for XBox360 players. Although you may find the same behavior on some PS3 online games where voice chat is enabled, the worst stereotype for XBox360 users is that everyone is crude, foul-mouthed, and short-tempered. I'm not sure how accurate that is but it doesn't seem to make anyone shy away from the console. However, it should still be considered if one were buying an XBox360 for online play. [hide=Wii words...]The Wii is difficult to judge comparatively; I myself see it more as a generation 2.5 console, rather than generation '3' as I would consider the Xbox360 and PS3. I'm not just going to out and out bash the Wii though. The Wii's graphics are rather outdated, but to be honest, I don't even think that most Wii consumers could tell the difference. The Wii is really a cheap man's toy, or a family console. Since it is the cheapest, some also buy it so that they can feel like they're part of the 'next generation' of gaming. In other words, some feel that they have to have one of the three, and pick the cheapest. I'm surprised when I see any games rated "M" on the Wii, although it's obvious that the Wii could be incredibly more violent than either of its so-called rivals if developers put their minds to it. The Wii has some good exclusive games but almost always gets left out for ports of the topsellers of the XBox360 and PS3 consoles. Without riding on Nintendo's past glories the Wii really only has fluff games, and because of the controllers, many useless accessories.[/hide] I'm thinking that MAG, despite being seemingly not very well-known, could be a turning point game for the console competition. It will be a game like Modern Warfare, but with more people in each game, and vehicles. It will also be a PS3 exclusive. If the $300 version of the PS3 is real and MAG lives up to what they say it can do (runs smooth) then Sony may make a comeback yet. Also, unrelated, but just as important, top games like Halo3 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare could easily be dethroned by MAG.

Rares are for everyone. It's the untradeable holiday items that are not for everyone. Plus, to sell a rare, someone else has to buy it. Players aren't going to sell them to a store. The general store owners realize the fine quality of tradeable rares and pay accordingly...

Hopefully mage equipment. :) I am hoping its unique drop is it's hide and light thingy which could be made into mage armor and a helmet. But ya, hopefully we can make a reasonable amount of money from it. :P It's level 78 slayer I highly doubt the drops will be too good. Something equal to the g maul I'd imagine. I do know one thing, it's going to be packed with campers. I don't know about that. Slayer monsters released after the first batch all seem to vary quite more. JaGEx, knowing that it'll have to make their drops at least slightly overpowered to seem "worth it" will probably make the special item just below the Abyssal Whip in usefulness. I wouldn't count on a set of armor either way, and if there were a set released, it still wouldn't come close to 3rd Age or Ahrim's. I'm hoping for a staff with KO ability. :)

Try castles with ease in movement between floors. Al-Kharid Palace seems likely to work but I don't want to go there myself right now...
