  1. Great, more annoyances and stores trying to rip people off.
  2. Oh yes, quite true. You can talk to any Slayer master with the enchanted gem. Idoit, learn to look and read before you post comments like this.
  3. Bolrog was already there, no one (except maybe me and a few other hundered people) noticed him until they gave him the pouch trade-in.
  4. Alright! No need to shout... I'd go with: Herblore Melee Prayer (who else is going to make your precious potions, hm? I don't see anyone ELSE choosing herblore.) (edit: forget magic, I want my whip! Someone's gonna have to choose construction though...)
  5. Aright fine, ill edit that, you can have fun getting 99 herblore. But I'm trying to say that really the only ingame reward you get is a skill cape and higher totals. Sure you can get a feeling of accomplishment. Why is it that when I get 99 prayer, ill have an advantage(longer prayer pots, longer prayer lasting)..but with your 93(almost 99) herblore you really cant do anything better than me. I think herblore needs a improvement, like for example: An potion that makes you immune to poison and diseases for 1 hour and it would be untradeable. Or a potion that randomly makes you get a "0" hit instead of whatever the damage would have been. Untradeable potions that actually make you have a benefit. Btw Im not bragging, I know they arent great stats, im just saying ive actually tried those skills. : I'm all for herblore improvements. The probelm though, is not everyone CAN "waste money" as you put it, to level up these skills. (like me and herblore) However, there are a few pros/cons that come with that though Pros: 1:No money is spent, so you get full profit from anything that you sell. 2:You get exp from gathering things for said skill (combat for herblore, woodcut for firemake, etc.). 3:There's a greater sense of accomplishment knowing that you got 99 "the hard way". Cons: 1:Resource gathering is tedious, boring work. 2:It takes a lot of time out of the day to get anywhere as you reach higher levels. 3:There is no 3. Mysterious!
  6. This is kinda rigged. You *have* to have HP, otherwise, you get "slain on sight". However, I'd go with...hmmm...gah, I cant decide. All the skills tie in together somehow.
  7. Kalpets are very easy, the workers that is. u can kill 50 of em in around 5-7 min, you should reconsider that dude:O Or if you're rich, just break down and cannon them. I haven't done slayer in quite a while (*cough*ftp*cough), but from what I have slayed, I'd consider: Steel dragons: takes forever to kill, only 4 spawns, irons get in the way time to time. That's really about it. Of course, it's not like I can ADD anything else. (have yet to try)
  8. I don't find anything wrong with Pest Control. Though I wouldn't particully use it for training (especially after the exp-downing), it's a minigame with nice rewards. It's all fair, you train how you want to, everyone else trains how they want to. Sadly, with everyone else, it's their way or get flamed.
  9. I do wish herblore was still profitable now (it being my favorite skill). However, some people train these skills to be self-sufficent, others just want the total level or cape.
  10. You will get radiation poisoning. It's not smart to post random thoughts because...?
  11. Every route closed off seems to open half a dozen more... This can be looked at both ways. On one hand, you can use all that worthless junk to trade to a RWT for quick gold at the cost of real world cash. These people more than likely only want gold to boost skills and other things. On the other hand, many people on forums sell certain things (*cough*zamorakspear*cough*) at there own price, the only way to do this is with junk. In order to get "the true vaule" for these types of items, junk is a must, but this can quickly undermine the real gold value. [/ramble] It seems Jagex has some "tweaking" to do with the G.E prices...
  12. There is a point to this thread right? Please tell me there's a point...somewhere? Seriously, it's highly doubtful that one person on this forum supported ALL the updates ever made. Plus, this forum is to rant about "In-game stress" no? Ranting about ranters/"Jagex lovers"/idiots doesn't count as "in-game". Or did I miss something?
  13. Cutscene about epic place + never going to epic place - lack to motivation to add epic place = Fail. :wall:
  14. Granted, but the world is thrown into endless daylight. I wish for a random simple thing.
  15. Ultimakomoto replied to Nopnoob's topic in Rants
Well, I was trying to complete my Karamja diary and around wave 20 or so, Jagex shuts off the world I'm in... Bad luck? People trying to keep me from doing anything? Massive riots? You decide.
  16. Yeah...Supply vs Demand. In this case, No supply + high Demand = hard to get resource. It's simple, don't go around yelling "Bug!" until you can prove how exactly it is abnormal to how it normally works. Oh wait...
  17. Even though I don't praticully agree with this, it might make people work harder. Exp is already halved in the game, so I guess I'll go along with this. *stamp of support*
  18. then why map it if it's not going in the game? :-k
  19. You get a book on Necromancy. Mysterious! [inserts LIVE!]
  20. You are being unoriginal. For that, I drop you into a pit filled with fire, lava, three-headed dragons, and lasers.I then close the pit, just as the coin flies out. So I pick it up, get a shovel, and bury it in....uh...I'm not quite really sure... I knew I took a wrong turn somewhere. So I walk away to try to find where I took the wrong turn. #-o
  21. Chaos Gauntlets, look at the name. Tzhaar has an innate resistance to fire spells (they live in a volcano!) Lesser demons are one your better bets, you could also try the fire wizard south of Falador, immune to fire spells, but as you get exp per cast...Just have good magic defense and food on hand.
  22. The point to this is? Then you beg for free stuff, say 555, go to Rimmington and do the Dance and Jig emotes in chain 5 times.
  23. News flash: People hate the revenants! It sounds good in concept, but people already hate the revenant idea, and expanding this beyond the wild could bring about a ruination to most training (eek! what if an angry ghost gets me!?) It won't happen. *By "people", I'm excluding the ones who go revenant hunting for fun and otherwise.*
  24. Zaaps, you're wrong. Knives of any kind CAN be posioned. Go search Iron knives (p) or something. Since he wasn't using poisoned knives, it's gotta be all that smoke coming from the Polinivch wells.
  25. Fadooda, you're wrong, you can eat raw potatos (they only heal like 1 though) Poison chalices are too random for me. Either you lose big, or win big, and I'm not one for randomness.
