  1. Bought the Specact bundle, now got to get platinum on the M95 SA.
  2. I tried to decipher this one, but it's impossible.
  3. [hide][/hide] That's pretty much the conservative party. So they say that Gordon has increased the gap between poor and rich to the greatest difference it's ever been (isn't that expression used every time a sentence with Gordon Brown is mentioned?), yet I fail to comprehend how a conservative government, let alone a liberal-conservative government will make it any better.
  4. I generally drink most alcohol and have no discernible favourite. However, Absolut Vodka would probably be my favourite if I was to choose.
  5. Believe me, It wont take 24 hours to complete, as I already have...
  6. Instead of asking Gamers or People from the industry, they should look at game sales over that franchise. What people say and what they mean are two different things.
  7. Noob is an attitude, not a level.
  8. Haven't played BC2 in a few days since I got my new laptop, and now I'm wondering whether I should buy it for PC as well :P It'll be fun to see how amazingly bad I am when I get back to playing it.
  9. I'm not sure what Hyde park is like at this time of year, but that might be worth a visit. The London Eye is always a popular choice. If you intend to go shopping, you'll be looking at Regent Street (If you're into A&F, it's on the corner of Saville Row) and New Bond street. New Bond street is generally clothes dominated, while Regent street has Hamleys and a few other flagship stores. Trafalgar square is alright, but it gets quite crowded during the day.
  10. The item is called the 'flagstaff of festivities', it's a little ambiguous isn't it? I'm going to bet that any future events Jagex holds (that are in relation to this) will also be called 'flagstaff of festivities', with the only difference being the sign shown when you look at it.
  11. If you don't love her, then dump her. It'll hurt her either way, but it'll be better for you.
  12. I won't be upgrading yet. I'll wait until August when I have some money to spare and have moved into my new house. Even though I wont really need it by then, I'll be able to get the student version.
  13. Did my best game ever so far. 20 Kills, 0 deaths. On Laguna Presa, SDM, Recon (unsurprisingly). About half of those kills were the same people coming back to try and kill me
  14. If you're going to wear jeans that dark, I'd suggest wearing a t-shirt that is lighter (can be the same colour, just make it a lighter shade), unless you intend to cover it up with a shirt.
  15. It is being blown out of proportion. I mean, I'm biased in that I don't really play RuneScape anymore, but, Jagex has stated that they will be looking into holding an event(s) like this in other countries. So, while the english (and some others) get this banner (which, let's face it, is a small item that doesn't affect gameplay, yet is having a larger effect than spirit shields had when they came out) this year, Americans may get a different banner in a different year, which few (if any) english citizens will get. So, while it isn't balanced now, It balances out in the end.
  16. Don't worry about it, I misinterpreted. I think it has only been announced, should be out soon though.
  17. I believe that nForce means it is integrated, so it's a chip. in which case, You'll probably want to look at an Nvidia 9600GT/9800GT, as these cards both have good performance for the price. I'm not sure about ATi cards though, so I assume someone will be able to give you some advice.
  18. VIP codes are inside the cases for the limited edition version of the game. I.e. If you have one of these cases: You'll have a VIP code.
  19. Had my best match so far. 18 kills and no deaths. As anyone who has read my posts, I was in the Recon class. It was on Laguna Presa, in a spot which makes shooting from long distance hard (as there is only a small portion of me showing, and up close the M95 is a one hit kill from the chest up. Got a nemesis badge, two combat excellence badges, and the best player badge, with around 95% accuracy. So yeah, not bad.
  20. There wouldn't be 'z' instead of 's' (e.g. Modernisation = Modernization) and 'o' in certain words would be 'ou' e.g. 'Colour' (I know why they were changed, but living in th UK, I get taught 's' and 'ou', thus, I do not need every spell checker to tell me I am wrong).
  21. I guess I fall into that class :P I care a lot about my K/D ratio, but, I do try and contribute as much as possible (i.e. Stopping enemies before they have a chance to kill my team-mates). Actually, that reminds me of the time when my entire team decided to continually fire tracer darts into me. Apparently I was 'useless' and they 'didn't need me'. Obviously the 10 kills and 0 deaths didn't help at all, especially when my team wasn't actually doing anything
  22. [hide] There are 4 bolt actions available. M24 (the first sniper rifle, which is actually very good, one of my preferred rifles) SV98 (similar to M21 but worse) GOL (The most 'accurate' of the sniper rifles, slightly less power than an M21 and a faster fire rate) M95 (Most powerful, but also the slowest in terms of bolt cycling and reloading) For a first gun, the M21 is pretty amazing. Going to correct you a little bit based off of the most recent patch. What this means, currently, is that the SV98 and the GOL are the only rifles worth using when you look at it. The SV98 is now the exact same as M24 but with a larger clip and a faster reload speed and the GOL, while a bit slower and smaller clip than the SV98, has arguably the better sights and for some reason does not take into account "breath" currently. (Scope sway). I do hope they end up readjusting them a bit more because it was a bit of an oversight. Still sniping is pretty damn good in this game. All the classes, really, can take on a support role if you wish. Recon by using motion mines to scout ahead, Assault as a picker in the back using a 4x (With AN94 or something) and giving ammo, engineer repairing vehicles and blowing up around objectives to gain sight for the rest of the team and medic is obvious. [/hide] That's for the PC, and since I have a PS3 (which obviously hasn't received the patch yet) I was speaking through experience with the guns. But I'm glad that you pointed this out, as I assume that the PS3 will be getting the update soon.
  23. Sorry I meant M24. And yes, it is the M24, as both the M24 and M40 are based off the Remington R700 model.
