World Cup 2010 - South Africa!
I do think that England may have played better if that goal was allowed, but the fact is, it wasn't. The passing by the Germans, combined with our non-existent defense let them score those goals. In fact, I'm surprised Germany didn't score more. David James and Lampard were the best English players (fair enough Lampard didn't actually score a goal, but he tried compensating at least twice).

World Cup 2010 - South Africa!
Yeah, now that Germany just scored 2 more goals, that one injustice doesn't matter. Our defenders are always up at the German end, so whenever they get a decent pass, they score.

Let's buy me a laptop
If you mean upgrade to a graphics card in that laptop (and most laptops) you're out of luck. Most graphics chips are soldered onto the motherboard, and as such cannot be upgraded. For multitasking you're going to want a dual core processor. In which case, I propose this as a better option than the one you were considering: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834114930 The GPU & CPU are much better than the laptop you linked to.

Let's buy me a laptop
For under $500, you're going to find it hard to get the required specs (except the not a mac one). Also, for under $500, you'd be hard pushed to find a dedicated graphics card, which semi-eliminates gaming (Integreated chips are powerful enough to run most games on low settings, some on medium). By multi-tasking, do you mean multiple internet browser instances with notepad, calculator and others, or do you mean intensive stuff like Photoshop etc. I guess you want the former, so you'll want a dual core. High speed RAM means that you will want DDR3, which in turn will require a faster processor (for instance, Intel i5 mobile processors can 'only' use 1066mhz RAM, whilst the quad core Intel mobile i7s can use 1333mhz RAM), and thus increases cost. For the price, the laptop you suggested looks decent, but it's not very powerful.

Obama Administration Announces Massive Piracy Crackdown
Would that mean that over time these traces of data would make one's computer more sluggish, or at the very least have less space on the hard drive? Any data which you think you have deleted (In Windows) is actually still on the disk. The space it occupied is just shown by the system as unoccupied, and the file remains until the parts of the drive that it was on are overwritten (and even then a trace will still be left). Because of this system, windows is actually faster than what it would be if it actually deleted the files, because it would take a while to erase big files.

Rock climbing boots affecting RuneScape
I know. Chessy018 did it with 3A in the G.E. I was going under the basis that the person would want to maximise the amount of cash (i.e. Invest in rares which are pretty much only going to gain value). It's not a very well thought out argument by me, but I just thought I'd add something.

Rock climbing boots affecting RuneScape
The maximum amount of cash a person can have in one pile is 2.147 billion. 404,000 x 75,000 (the maximum a person could get) is around 30.3 billion. The cash would therefore only exist as items taken out of the game (the point of selling the items is negated until the person uses up enough of the remaining 2.147 billion cash pile. The only real purpose this could serve to that person is get them 99 in all buyables, a lot of rares and an insane cash pile. The short term effect is that rares go up in price (assuming that they are all bought in the GE) and someone gets a lot of money. The long term effect? A lot of rares are effectively taken out of the game.

Obama Administration Announces Massive Piracy Crackdown
A large, extremely powerful magnet would be sufficient to do that. Every file that has been on your computer has left a trace, and the only way for this to be erased is multiple fills and formats. Or, just buy an external hard-drive and use that.

Hi-Fi
I'd like a seperate system, but the limits of space in my room at the moment, and the house that I am moving to, means that I have to make do with what I have. My 'System' (if it can even be called that) Is basically a Bose Companion 3 series II system connected to my M15x (using equalizers to get to my personal preference), along with some Sennheiser CX550 Canalphones for music on the go. If I get a chance, I'll probably invest in some quality gear.

Obama Administration Announces Massive Piracy Crackdown
I do also believe that piracy is a huge problem, I just think that this isn't the way of going about it. I am not advocating piracy or stealing, but if a person is pirating a movie or a game, then they are unlikely to be a person who would have bought it in the first place, so it doesn't really count as a lost sale. In terms of music however, it is much more critical (I say this because music is smaller and therefore easier to download, whereas games and movies, especially HD movies run into the gigabytes).

Obama Administration Announces Massive Piracy Crackdown
http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=18815 A lot of the article, to me, is inane stuff we have all heard before. The one thing that caught my eye was this paragraph: I've bolded the parts I find important. All BitTorrent clients are used for illegal purposes. Originally BitTorrent was created to legally share files, and expanded rapidly to be used for what it is primarily used for now. In this case, they are basically saying that developing applications that transfers files over P2P networks is illegal. When I read the 'Imminent Infringement' part, I instantly thought of Minority Report. If you're searching (as they gave an example of) 'Torrent Daft Punk' then you are going to want to download it. But what if you search 'Daft Punk' and click on a torrent site not knowing what it is? That could be a potential 'Imminent Infringement'. I do not agree with this part at all, it is stupid and unnecessary. Aside from how they actually intend to enforce this, my view is that you can't be arrested for something you haven't done (at least not something like this. In the case of planned murder, terrorism, arson etc I would agree that the persons planning should be arrested). I do think that piracy needs to be reduced, but this way of going about it is incredibly stupid. It seems as if the USA wants to become China, with its tight control over the internet.

Wimbledon 2010
I went to my local bookies and they were having bets (unofficially) about who would collapse from heart failure first. I watched it, very surprised it didn't get stopped at the fifth set.

Dubstep - My hate for it
(Polite Notice: If you do not care about my opinion, then press the back button in your browser). To me, Dubstep represents a critical loss of creativity to the music industry. I find it to be a disaster upon my ears. The general monotony leaves me with a horrible impression, and the aggressiveness is displeasing. My actual hate for Dubstep, as a genre, is its fast rise to (somewhat) 'mainstream' play. I do generally dislike the sound, but this is a rather minute observation. I recently turned 18, which allowed me entry to Clubs. I prefer House & Trance, but I'm usually open to everything. I was aware of dubstep picking up in clubs, as it has been for the last few years, but this was, what I had assumed, different. It was an electro-house night (10pm to 3am). With Hervé as the main DJ. I know that he is a dubstep producer, along with drum&bass, grime and rave, but when I go to a genre specific night, I don't want to hear other genres which are not strictly related to it. By the time the last hour had arrived, only Dubstep was being played. Usually I would just stay along until the end, but this annoyed me slightly. To me, dubstep all sounds the same, and in this climate, it is hard to avoid. If Dubstep could become calmer, I might have a greater appreciation of it. Upgrading Computer + Cooling
I'm going to assume that your computer is AGP, in which case, you are limited as to what you can buy. You said that you wanted a cheap card, so a GeForce 6200 AGP will probably be your best bet. The best AGP card would be the Sapphire Radeon 3850 AGP (around £80). Anyway: http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?client=opera&q=GeForce+6200+AGP&oe=utf-8&hl=en&cid=6887904189880195111&ei=tPUhTN7UOqLU2wTv_vzsCw&sa=title&ved=0CA0Q8wIwATgA#p If you can determine whether your card is AGP or PCI, then it will be easier to recommend a graphics card (The 5500 was released in both AGP and PCI versions).

Regional Preference in the UK?
It depends where in London really. I'm currently renting a 5 bedroom house in Kingston (not really London, but very close) which is £1870 a month (split between 5 people). So assuming you wanted a 1 bedroom flat (and not a particularly large flat), it'd be around £500 per month. At £130 a day, you would only need to work one week to pay for it. Places in central London (and I mean central) are ridiculously expensive. For instance, a 1 bedroom flat in Canary Wharf will set you back £5695 per week. Obviously, you can find better deals if you look around. In terms of being enough to live on, Housing and bills will be your biggest expenses, and working 1 week wold easily pay for that (at £130 a day for a 5 day week). Food will be around £40-£50 a week (or less if you shop around) and nights out will depend where you go really, and how often. Supposing that you go out every Friday to a pub, buying all your drinks and not getting totally drunk, around £30 is reasonable. £500+£200+£100+£120 = £920 = 6 days (and a bit) if you exclude tax. Short Answer: Yes. On Topic: Since the capital of England is London, I can't say that it is totally unfair that the South East gets the most attention (combined with the London 2012 olympics). I will say that it's not fair that other places (including the rest of south east England) don't benefit, and the country being in insane debt doesn't help matters (£1.3 Trillion was the last I heard). I live about Halfway between London and Brighton, and can safely say that a lot of the South East isn't receiving the funding it needs (along with everywhere else in the UK).

It's not a movie, but Band of Brothers, if you can get hold of the whole season, is amazing.

Your favorite Drum&Bass songs
Seeing as you're into Pendulum, check out 'The Vulture' and 'Propane nightmares (Celldweller remix)'. Also, you mentioned that you just got into DnB, so I'll add a song that you'd definitely hear anyway. new mouse.
Ergonomics basically means fitting an item to a person/job. Basically, it reduces/removes the chance of repetitive strain injury. In relation to mice, it would be finding a mouse that fits your hand correctly without needing to stretch across it.

It is when problems arise (problems will arise no matter which manufacturer you buy from, but you'd expect customer support to actually help).

8 Things Gay People Can't Do
Gay men can't become scout leaders. Kind of surprised, considering that no matter how you feel about homosexual sex, paedophiles and their behaviour is always worse (No, I am not saying that if you are gay, you are a paedophile, or that Homosexuality is comparable to Paedophilia, rather I am saying that no matter how extreme your views are on both subjects, homosexuality is much less 'evil' than paedophilia). Just look at numerous reports into Scout leader behaviour, and you'll see what I mean. I guess I could make that last bit make more sense, but just to make sure that it's understood, I do not thing that homosexuality is wrong or 'evil'. Wingwinder, the Mishnah explains that a man should be stoned if he has sexual intercourse with: His mother. His Daughter in Law Another Man An Animal So It doesn't really state that homosexuality is bad, just that you should be punished for it.

All Time Favorite Games
1. Gran Turismo 4 (I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get a nurburgring lap time of under 5:30, managed 5:35 I think) 2. Pokemon Gold Version 3. Dark Cloud (PS2) 4. Assassin's Creed II (ignoring the annoying DRM, I really liked the story and felt the emotion. I ham not going to buy another game with the same DRM though) 5. Resident Evil 4 -. I-Ninja
