So, I finally finished a long term goal of 99 slayer and herblore. I would have achieved herblore quicker, but wanted to get these two milestones together. I also reached 2.4k total and finished all my middle column skills. [hide=slayer][/hide] [hide=Herblore][/hide] Stats as of levelling up herblore: The plan now is to do farming everyday (should take about 59 days to get 99), do prayer and summoning in the meantime, then alternate between rc and dungeoneering to 99 in each. From experience, embarassing yourself isn't always a bad thing. It just depends how you take. If you can just laugh it off, it's almost always going to be received positively with friends. There are many ways to interpret why he complains to you about other girls flirting with him. Maybe he wants you to do the same? (Using it as a hint, for instance).

So you have a text 'conversation' once a week, and you unintentionally see each other 'a lot'. So basically both of you are doing the bolded part. In my opinion, that is nowhere near enough to get to know someone. I assume you're hoping you'll get to know each other better, and you of course want him to initiate conversations more. However, from what I can tell, you're giving nothing to him that makes it seem like you're interested in him. I send texts asking how people are regularly, and they aren't to people I even particularly like. From what I can see, it's failing on both sides. He wont try and make any sort of move, because he thinks you're not interested. You don't spend much time together, you don't learn about each other (besides how you've been that week) etc. I'm not suggesting that you should make any signs obvious, but you want him to be attracted to you, and he doesn't seem to think of you at any stage past 'friend'. Either you're going to have to step up and get him to match, or just be as content as you are now and move onto someone else. That's just my perspective of things. Maybe I'm too cynical.

My house is laid out so that I have: (3 rooms wide, rooms given in their positions) Skills Hall - Study - Portal Room Combat Hall - Formal Garden - Chapel Workshop - Menagerie - Kitchen N/A - Costume Room - N/A Since I have 99 con I have no use for a servant, but yeah, the layout works very nicely. Though It would make more sense to switch the Skills Hall and Study around, if you want to use the chapel a lot.

Just to put this radical concept out there, males can rape other males. Women can rape other women, men cape rape women and women can rape men. Like obfuscator said, the cases should be treated equally, no matter who committed the crime and who is the victim.

I actually wrote a piece on this, due to some real life occurrences. Everyone has double standards. Literally everyone. Those who 'don't' rather ironically have the double standard of 'Everyone has double standards except for me'. I hate to refer to postings from the abyss of the internet, but I've seen some images where are unfortunately true. For instance, the notion of the guy paying for the meal is 'grounded in tradition', which makes it OK. But the reason for the man paying, is because of the tradition of the man being 'the breadwinner'. But of course, people are allowed to pick and choose sections to vivify and elucidate, whilst repressing traditions they consider archaic or sexist (or more accurately, when it's sexist and not in their favour). When feminists say that men can't be feminists, it does annoy me. Feminism is the persual of equal rights for Women; so that Men and Women (or Womyn, if you're a follower of socio-anarchist Germaine Greer) are equal. Coming back to double standards, unfortunately there are cases of females crying rape after a one night stand, but, the majority of cases are legitimate and the law upholds that investigations must be taken into, and herein lies the problem - rape cases stand out because lack of 'evidence' pretty much doesn't exist. Sperm will identify you, whether it was consensual or not. The only word a court needs to go on is the victim's, and lying behind tears is easy. Again, I'd just like to make it clear that I do not think that every rape case is fraudulent, rather that a minority of rape cases are the result of regret.

You are correct, I was adapting it for the large American user base of Tip.It. I find it absurd that American's say ' 'erbs' rather than 'herbs' (e.g. Chris Redfield in Resident Evil 5 - 'Give me an 'erb'). Can't win them all unfortunately, but I would at least expect SOME consistency with writers who are being paid to write.

'a/an: They are used before a singular noun that has a plural form. 'A' is used before a consonant sound and 'an' is used before a vowel sound.' Despite the supposedly simple rule, determining the proper usage of 'a' and 'an', a lot of people, and more importantly many journalists, still fail to uphold the correct usage. Examples that I have encountered recently are 'an spent smoke grenade' and 'an media', with many before then. The reason these two stick in my mind like flies to manure, is simply because 'spent' and 'media' do not have anything even resembling a 'vowel sound'. The rule itself is of little difficulty to comprehend, unlike the offside rule in Football (or Soccer, to Americans), which makes it harder for me to accept the complete meltdown of the rule itself. Words beginning in 'H' that originated in French are correctly paired with the indefinite article 'an' (e.g. an [h]otel). Yet words that have no such link are still incorrectly paired. It is not a problem for me with casual chat, such as forum postings - rather when someone is getting paid to write, they should be able to write proficiently, and at least getting one of the simplest rules in the language correct.
