People who worry way too easily. I'm probably the polar opposite, but I still get good grades. For instance, we have some assignments that are like 1500 words and we get 5 months to do them. People I know start worrying about it at the beginning of the semester, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. I only start worrying if it gets to the point where I haven't done the essay within the last few days of when it's due in.

When I trained slayer at my best, I got around 9mil xp a week between hp, attack and slayer. Obviously, I wasn't as efficient as the maxed players, but I played a large chunk of the available hours of that week - more than , I'd posit, having a full time job. So, it's about the same amount of xp per week (for me), but only takes 4 hours to do, and $500. I'd say it'll have a pretty large effect.

Ranged was my first, and Prayer is my most recent.

That was almost worth reading, until the second sentence. I'm pretty sure bxpprod made clear his distaste about this update. Back on topic: I stopped taking this game seriously over a year ago, and now I just play for fun or to pass time. I remember taking it way too seriously back in 2009/2010, and honestly, it wasn't as fun for me then as it is now. Yes, it's not a great update, and somewhat hypocritical - but, If you're going to complain, whine, whinge and moan about every update, just quit RuneScape and shut your mouth. I wish there was a device that would allow people to punch others through monitors, because I'd have punched everyone who thinks they have a new revolutionary viewpoint on this topic.

Absolutely amazing book! If you've not read it already, I strongly recommend reading The Prince afterwards. Both juxtapose one another quite nicely. I know this reply is late, but since I never checked for one, I may as well reply to it now. I have indeed read 'The Prince'. I can see why it annoys people to read it, and I can happily understand why, but moving away from the contemporary readings as a satire, it can easily be described. It is not that Machiavelli suggests that this is what a Prince should do, merely what they do actually do. And yes, it was fascinating. I haven't continued much with the Discourses at the moment, because I'm trying to improve my French for personal reasons. Will have to pick it up soon.

Quite handy for me that this was posted in this thread, because this is one of the things I unequivocally hate. School, and education in general, is the only thing stopping the whole of humanity from slipping into the festering cesspool that makes up the cast of Jersey shore (except maybe Vinnie, as he has been to college). On the subject of Jersey Shore, snooki being pregnant is something I hate. The world doesn't need another Snooki.

Lol, everyone who's posted so far is (or was) Tip.It staff! Guess I'll continue that. Like others before I'll say that my list is full, or if I'm feeling very honest, I'll just say that I don't want to. Sometimes the truth is better than a lie.

What about factors such as anxiety confounding the results? If anxiety during the examination causes a person to perform a task in a longer period of time, does that really make them a moron? Unfortunately there's no way to accurately compensate for anxiety. I could say I'm really nervous to the examiner, and say it's making me take longer, but can I or they really prove that? I wouldn't say that it makes them a moron, just that IQ is not just a measure of how accurately someone can do tasks. I'm sure that a lot of people would get all the questions right, given a long enough period of time. The pressure to answer as quickly and correctly as possible would be off, but it'd be less of a challenge. I'll admit that I didn't explain my point properly, but like Powerfrog said, if two people get the same results but one gets them faster, the person who got them faster should be considered more intelligent, due to the point of the test.

Measuring IQ is beneficial to society. We haven't perfected a method of doing it, and only creating techniques which approximate a persons' intelligence by giving them problems to solve. These problems are distinctly far away from 'What is the capital of...' and focus on deciding which thing should go next in a series. This somewhat eliminates the 'needs to be learnt' aspect of your argument. Once you have a basic grasp of language and thought, patterns are somewhat innate. If you can't work out which goes next in the series by looking for differences and working out what the pattern is, then that's not the fault of your education system, it just means that the person doing the test is unable to mentally solve that particular problem. Intelligence isn't just a measure of what you know, like others have said. It relies on speed and the ability to take in the information accurately. If you're slower to do it than other people, then that does, in my opinion, make you less intelligent. If someone need 4 seconds to work out the answer, and another person needs 12 (and this is for a question where 'general knowledge' is NOT a consideration), then the person who takes longer is less intelligent, by definition.

Thanks! It's one of the 99s I thought I'd never get (along with Slayer and herblore, lol), so it feels good to finally achieve it!

This'll probably be my last 99 for a while, as I'm taking a break from RS. The top 6 rows of skills are now complete, and 99 Summoning will finish off another row. Rate/Hate.
