  1. Parents want to know what their children are up to, and know that they are in safe hands. If anything, Sam has helped that situation by telling them exactly what is going on. She might be annoyed at Sam, but it's her fault, so she should be shouting at herself. You don't have to tell people anything, but if you think they have a right to know, then you may as well tell them. Also, don't reply to the text.
  2. I have, in the past, just copied the lyrics to 'Never gonna give you Up' and had all 10 appeals accepted. To be fair though, it would be hard for Jagex to have humans look at the reports one by one, considering all the bots they ban... oh wait, nevermind.
  3. After a 'proper split', a relationship will never be as good as it was before, and this, I'm sorry, is a case in point. By giving it another chance you opened yourself to it. To be fair, she does seem really immature, so it's not your fault, but she seems to be unable to understand basic human figures of speech. Basically, do what Orpheus said.
  4. I have some other shoes I can wear, just I've fallen a bit in love with my boots. Of course, they're not exactly summer shoes, so not particularly practical. Thanks for the advice, shall be buying some white jeans shortly. Have a few cardigans atm, so shall wait and see if I need another.
  5. I know Esprit aren't the best brand in the world, but they are doing mid-season sales at the moment, so all their denim is going for cheap prices. Might be worth a look. Generally, their clothes are slim fit, so factor that in. http://www.espritshop.com/index_us.htm?LKZ=GB Also, what's everyones opinions on white jeans? As Summer is approaching (not that you'd be able to tell in the UK) I'm contemplating getting a pair. I'd probably also get a light-mid grey open cardigan (contemplating this: http://www.allsaints.com/men/knitwear/saya-cardigan/steel/mkk617-1180) to go with it. Shoes would be a pair of matte (as in, unfinished leather) chelsea boots in a dark-ish brown, as well as a belt to match the shoes. So, any comments/concerns?
  6. I can see the appeal, but they just stand out for the wrong reasons. Though, I can't really visualise clothes/accessories on people - I prefer actually seeing it. I'd vote on not getting them though.
  7. Getting advice online is like giving a blind man hearing aids - It may help the circumstances to a degree, but it won't really help as much as you'd like. You can't give 100% accurate advice to everyone all the time. People are different and respond differently to different things, so giving advice is a pretty broad process. In general though, the 'bad boy' stereotype will generally be better with the women than a 'nice guy'. As others have mentioned, the bad boy does have qualities which make him attractive - physical strength, confidence etc. Of course, if you're confident in yourself and everything you do, people will notice this, and that is what is crucial. On another note, I mentioned about that woman I met. Things didn't work out - we both agreed we were too far apart to have a serious relationship. Non-serious however is a different matter ;)
  8. I might be going, since I live just down the road.
  9. Thanks :) Once I get both construction and firemaking to 99, I will be training dungeoneering until at least level 80. Might continue to 90 or 99 if I get into a rhythm. Or, I will leave it until level 90 dungeoneering will get me to 2.4k total.
  10. So, some of you may remember me back when I didn't train Slayer. Stuck at 63 every time I posted a thread in this forum. Well, now, as you can see, things have changed. Though I do of course have one skill to replace Slayer with! Of course, it's not a monumental achievement, but it's something I've been working towards. My plan now is to get both firemaking and Construction to 99, both of which I have banked. Then, I will probably resume Slayer, in order to level up Prayer (Infernal urns and burying dragon bones), Runecrafting (Effigies) and Summoning. Rate/Hate/Debate/Procrastinate
  11. Loyalty points to me sounds like membership. For every month of consecutive membership you'll get a set amount of loyalty points which you can use to buy stuff. That's just my opinion anyway.
  12. 1. Yes. 2. No. 3. Shave my face everyday. 4. My hair varies, and sometimes I like it short, sometimes medium length. 5. Gilette Fusion. Not proglide, as I still have 6 more razors to use up. Use Nivea shaving foam, as the smell is much more pleasant than the distinct smell of Gilette.
  13. 5'11, 164lbs. Which is pretty much the middle between under and overweight. Pretty happy. Don't particularly take care with what I eat (If it tastes good, I'll eat it), but I do enough exercise every day to burn it off.
  14. No. I did once, and the result was incredibly itchy armpits, thus I have not bothered again. Don't find it a problem.
  15. @Ezkaton If you know she can read you like a book, then don't lie. If you want to keep falling out with her, because you can't hold back comments (which you shouldn't have to, and she should at least understand your situation), then remain as her cushion. Otherwise, call it quits and just move on. Sounds harsh, but, without changing the focus from you, I've been put in a situation by my closest friend (I don't use 'best' as it seems irreverently childish), where I have been unable to hold back my thoughts (not going to go into detail about what happened). What did she do when I put it bluntly to her? She didn't storm off and cry about it. She understood my point, apologised and things went back to normal. That is 'healthy'. As your friends have said, if you want to be a cushion/pillow for her, then go ahead and continue what you're doing. I will wholeheartedly agree with your friends. You need to distance yourself at least for a while, and find a new best/closest friend. At least if you want to stop getting pissed off anyway.
  16. In the UK police will (supposedly) let you get away with 10% over the speed limit (e.g. 44 in a 40, 55 in a 50), except in controlled zones like near schools etc.
  17. People who over-apply their fragrances/aftershave. Okay, so you have a decent smelling fragrance, and you want everyone to know. Applying a gallon of it, and then re-applying it throughout the day does not make you smell good, it makes you smell like a douchebag(ette). I've received more compliments wearing a subtle fragrance (and one that doesn't project as much as others) than when I wear a fragrance that projects too much, or I've applied too much. Quantity =/= Quality
  18. You don't have to tell anyone anything about yourself. If you want certain people to know, then tell them. I have some gay friends, and they haven't come out to their parents because they are scared of how they would react (their parents are relatively strict and traditional). No-one should have to hide who they are though.
  19. Rain splodges. I guessed as much :P

Due to my hair issue (regreases itself after 18 hours, like noticeably) I am going to have to go one weekend without washing my hair (possibly longer) so that my body gets used to produces less oils in my hair. Aside from this, I shower every day in the morning. If I've been exercising/sweating during the day, then I'll wash again before I go to bed.
  21. I'm really looking for a shoe (or light boot) that I can take clubbing when I go clubbing in London, as trainers (I usually wear Fred Perry navy fashion trainer/plimsoll things) are not permitted. The shoes I do have to wear are way too formal, so I'm looking for something good looking, a medium/darkish brown (to match my bag when I'm not clubbing) but also somewhat smart.
  22. Your dog appears to have relieved him/herself over your right leg.
