Had two fillings in my life. Both have been horrendous. Not the dentists fault, but apparently I have some natural suppressant to Novocaine, but not in the way you would expect. It makes it work, but after longer than the 5-10 minutes they allow it to start working. Obviously, the dentist was busy so I thought I may as well just have it done and get it over with. He hit the dentine. It hurt. A lot. Then I got home and my mouth started to go numb. But yeah. It's better to have fillings than not have them. Obviously, I'd rather have not had them in the first place, but that doesn't matter now.

Ok I'll go for the Chelseas. If the ones I posted above didn't have the buckle I'd probably buy them. Thanks!

What about a pair of Chelsea Boots (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelsea_boots) in a colour similar to that?

Looking at getting some new shoes. What do you reckon of these? I know they're a little... quirky, but with the right outfit I think they'd be great.

The Controversial Thread
If the immediate threat of your death is there, then I believe that if you kill someone in that situation, then it is fine. You did not intend to harm a person, but were forced into a situation whereby it was either you or him/her. For the not saving someone's life one: This is a good point. However, I believe that you should factor in risks to the potential rescuer. For instance, if someone falls into a freezing cold river, then would you expect anyone to jump in after them? Both bodies would start to shut down due to hypothermia, and both people would die.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
I'm not going to force anything. Just meet up and see how it goes. When talking we both (I could see she was and I couldn't help doing it myself) that cute affectionate 'kind-of-giggly' smile at each other. Mainly just chatting and a bit of dancing. I'm assuming I didn't make an absolute prat of myself, and if I did, she must have seen it as a confidence thing, because she didn't run away. Either way, not going to force anything.

Bitcoin
Well, I was looking this morning, and it said there are 6 million bitcoins in existence, and valued at $52 million. So roughly $893.9.

Real life pictures - 4
Oh yes, that lovely one. As I said, when I control the camera, it's possible to look very presentable, when it's not me holding the camera, I can look absolutely terrible. Not that it matters. It was an excellent night. And I've put on a small amount of weight, which is why my face looks fuller. Not suggesting I'm chubby or anything, just that since then I haven't looked after my diet.

I was very drunk when that photo was taken. The champagne I was holding did not help. I also have a massive inability to look good/normal in front of any camera that isn't held by me. [hide] I think you were picturing him to look more like this: or OH YOU SO SILLY[/hide]

Went to the Student Glamour Awards at Café de Paris on Saturday. Was an.... interesting night (I'm the male in the photo obviously). [hide][/hide] Looking excessively red due to large amounts of champagne.

Ha. Didn't think of it like that when I wrote it. I'm sure you know what I meant :P

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Thrill of the chase. The way she spoke about it was in a flirty way, combined with body language, so she either did a good job at pretending to be interested, or is actually interested. I'm also not scared of being rejected and I'm not paranoid that everyone has something against me. It's better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
After spending last night at Café de Paris, this is exactly what I'll be doing from now on. Met a really nice woman last night, didn't do anything because we were drunk, but she's making it a challenge for me to get anything out of her (as in, number etc), which I like. A lot. Shall see how it goes.

Drowning, whilst not painful in the traditional sense, is an absolutely horrific experience. Not very fast and extremely scary.

Talking
I can talk about anything for hours. However, it is the moments I can spend not talking (and the silence being comfortable) with my best friends that are truly the best moments. It's not really hard to keep conversation flowing (even easier if you're not trying to attract them). Once you've got a topic, ask them about it, then find tangents and explore those. If that runs out of steam, return to the original topic and continue. This is a gross over-explanation. If you think about doing this while talking it'll make it harder. Basically, if they say something you find interesting, ask them about it (how they got involved with it, how long they've been doing it etc. Questions like that).

If someone stuttered when they talk, would you notice?
It is incredibly annoying to me when people make a jab at me about it, malicious or not. It makes me notice my own stutter, then puts me out of place, making me feel nervous and more likely to screw up. It's not something I can control. I would never do the same to anyone else, for the same reason.

If someone stuttered when they talk, would you notice?
I stutter occasionally. It's mostly on words that begin with 'W' or 'H', which makes asking questions a bit of a pain. My current housemates, before they knew me that well didn't even notice it. My stutter is odd though. It never really occurs when I'm nervous. When I'm nervous, I talk fast, and that seems to beat it (doesn't give me time to think about it, causing me to stutter). When I'm not nervous and with a friend, it doesn't really happen. And yes, I notice it. I don't worry about it, and it's never stopped me talking to people. I don't come across nervous when it happens, so people just accept that it's something I have. I do notice stutters, impediments, lisps etc however. Notice but not mention, which is the key part. Nothing worse than making a person trying to talk you nervous.

If you're nervous a but what other people think, then go for the older one. However, if you don't care (and you shouldn't), then go for the younger one. Meh, she missed out. Always think positive!

Which ones is more attractive to you? I'm not talking necessarily about looks, but I mean which seems more compatible in terms of personality, interests, and, of course, physical attractiveness (doesn't mean you're shallow, because you still need to be attracted to the person).

03-May-2011 Capes of Distinction
Cool, thanks for sweeping the whole matter about ethics and miscommunication right under the rug. In my mind, it shows that you're okay with deceptive wording from the company and are willing to let one group of players be shunned. I'm done with this. You want to keep going about it, feel free. I'll just walk away now. I never said it was a good thing that Jagex miscommunicated. The way you're wording it is trying to make me sound like a villain. However, I'm simply being realistic. They have apologised, and have said they aren't going to make it F2P. Therefore, they aren't going to make it F2P. [hide=Off Topic]Also, you said that in the post before mine, yet you returned.[/hide]

03-May-2011 Capes of Distinction
If people want to quit over not getting a cape, then let them. It's only a a bunch of pixels in a game. If this is the most major concern about RuneScape and Jagex that people can pick up on, then I think Jagex have done a rather good job. Seriously, people should stop moaning and play the game. I'm not saying that the miscommunication is right, but if you're going to complain over content that you weren't specifically promised in the first place, then just stop playing the game.

What do you do when you feel down?
If I'm angry, I let it out (punching bag). If I'm sad, I will do either of two things: 1. Put on some chilled music (I find that my ability to listen to d'n'b etc is very impaired when I'm in this state), or just calm/sad music. If I need to cry, then I'll let it out and feel better after. 2. Speak to my best friend. Don't really like doing it, but we look after each other, and it's always nice to know someone is there for you (besids your parents & family).
