  1. So does Jagex fail at math or have I missed a step in the calculations? 15% + 15% = 29%? 23% + 10% = 32%?
  2. ever heard of SARCASM ? obviously not... im saying HOW IS IT FAIR WITH FOOD AND UNFAIR WITHOUT FOOD?? that guy is just upset that Strength got pwned by me You're an idiot. One fight isn't enough for you to say 'p0mg@!@! d3f r00ls son1!'

I say it because it's the word that gets a reaction from most people playing RS. whether they're nerds or not is irrelevant.
  4. So, you deem my opinion invalid just because you have higher stats? Who are you to make that judgment call? Stop looking for logic in a Tip.it debate. Go 'debate' on RSOF for a bit if you need some practice on how to act on Tip.it.
  5. Good thing 97% of Tip.it doesn't PK then.
  6. You can't say you're unbiased and then state your biased opinion. It's not a fact; or do you mean to tell me women who wear skirts because they like the way they look makes you a noob? If so, my friend, I'd have to call extreme shenanigans. People might value looks over efficiency, willing to shell out the cash for that. It's life. Why do people like fabriche eggs, when the same amount of money could buy them a better representation of Russian art and culture? Why does it matter so much, unless people are just upset that they're too expensive for them to buy themselves? (Is that a general statement? Bet your [wagon] it is. But really, what's the reason to yell back and forth when everyone has legitimate points and really all it boils down to is opinions, which will never be unified? Ever?) That's not a biased opinion in anyway. I wear neither dragon legs or dragon skirts, nor have I ever worn either of them. Obviously the discussion at hand is relating to guys wearing Dragon skirts, not guys who change their gender because they can't afford D legs (or, as you call them, women). That was a joke, but clearly my points were about guys in D skirts. All it boils down to at the end of the day is whether you care if people think you're a noob or not. If you do care you'll fork out the extra 700k (it was an extra 2M or so the last time I had this conversation), if you don't care you'll buy a D skirt and save yourself 700k (even though both can be resold at any point). The only people who will think you're a n00b for wearing a D skirt are n00bs. Intelligent people will think you're a n00b for trying to please them. So if you don't want the people who matter to think you're a n00b, you should use a skirt. Or better yet, just use barrows and screw dragon. That's a pretty stupid comment.

  8. Actually that's an opinion. In reality though that's what paying for looks all really comes down to, your own opinions as well as the ones of others. It's the same as if I were to wear full bronze around everywhere. Would I look like a newbie? Yes, because that's the image people have when they see bronze armour. It's not a fact that bronze armour makes you look not as good but rather the stereotype that "bronze is for noobs". It's the general consensus. Only noobs who wear D skirts or have done disagree.
  9. Well picture them people in a D skirt instead. That would look really stupid. Defence doesn't equal power. As one who wore d skirt/granite plate before getting 70 defence, I can honestly say that no, it does not look any uglier at all. It looks pretty much the same. You may have convinced yourself that D skirt made you look pro beast but actually it didn't. That 'pretty much' you speak of is the difference that matters. I myself am completely unbiased to the whole D leg/D skirt debate so I can tell you D skirt makes you look alot noobier. I'm not saying that should be something you should worry about but it's a fact.
  10. Wow, yeah you're totally right! I know when I took my required ECON 201 (yes, 201, not 101) course this semester "bang for your buck" was one of the terms! The term "bang for your buck" does not include looks. That phrase means getting the most performance for your money. Performance has absolutely nothing to do with looks. Performance is performance. My point is that I laugh at people that pay loads of money for an item that, in the case of d platelegs, does not perform any better. It's a game. People like to have good looking avatars.
  11. How would D skirt look better with your suggested outfit? I don't see how your point is relevant to what I said. If someone can afford 700k extra for an item with same stats it should be common sense they could afford to upgrade their armour. I don't even know where you're getting this rune plate thing from, you make it sound like Jagex has forbidden people from wearing Dragon legs with anything other than Rune platebody or Torso. And Guthan's offers no increase in power at all. I'm saying the same people who wear dragon platelegs "for looks" are also the people who wear them in disgustingly mismatched outfits, which completely undermines the "looks" they were going for. It's stupid. And what do you mean "Guthan's offers no increase in power at all"? It has about +40 melee defense and +50 range defense over rune. That's a very big upgrade. Well picture them people in a D skirt instead. That would look really stupid. Defence doesn't equal power.
  12. And dragon legs don't? Not to the extent of D skirts. I'd say you certainly do look like a colossal idiot when you wear a dragon platelegs "for looks" and then wear a rune platebody/fighter torso and berserker helm with it. Nice fashion sense--your bright crimson matches the brown and cyan so well! Not to mention how you are apparently too poor to spend an extra 400k to upgrade your rune platebody to Guthan's for significant power increases, but not so poor that you can't afford to spend an extra 700k on an item with exactly the same stats. Did you know that 700k will buy you enough repairs on your Barrows platelegs to last you about 140 hours of training? That's long enough to get 99 strength. 13. Click it while it's playing to watch it on youtube for a bigger screen.
  14. Monks robes looked beast in old RS2. Also Scimitars looked much better back then.
  15. And dragon legs don't? Not to the extent of D skirts.
  16. Some people need to go outside and take a deep breath. At the end of the day this is all just Runescape. I know RS is srs business but come on..The 'debates' in this thread are ridiculous.
  17. It's not so much that D skirt looks 'gay' so much as the fact that it makes you look like a noob.
  18. The only time I ever use my house is when I tele home so I can do something near yanille.
  19. BH world or white portal on an empty world.
  20. Not much beyond what I'm personally affected by to be honest; but I would like Jagex to implement some form of anti price manipulator system to the Grand Exchange. It's not natural inflation afterall so it wouldn't damage the economy if price manipulation was removed.
  21. Zamorak did the stabbing thing with Zaros before the God Wars. He was already gone; it was just his followers. no no no, see my point is zamorak was willing to fight against zaros. it seems so was Saradomin, and even some of the desert gods felt up to the challenge. However no one wanted to mess with Guthix when he got pissed off. Even with his new Godly powers Zamorak was like "oh ok well i'll just go play over here then shall i?" What i'm saying is they fought Zaros, but they fear Guthix. Remember that Zamorak is believed to have been in possession of the Stone of Jas around the time he challenged Zaros. We don't really know what happened to it afterwards; it's not likely that he still had it by the time Guthix woke up again. True, however Zamorak wasn't the only one to fight Zaros. Others tried as well. Now name one god who ever dared to fight Guthix. With Zaros it was like he was saying "bow before me or I will crush you to dust." He then proceeded to crush his enemies to dust one by one. Obviously he was very powerful. Next we have Guthix. Guthix wakes up, and he's pissed and here i will make a comparison. Guthix is a parent who is a bit overworked and has been working double shifts and finally manages to get in a little time for a nap. The god wars, are like Guthix's children yelling and fighting in the living room. Guthix wakes up, storms into the living room, throws something against the wall and proceeds to shout "IF YOU KIDS DON'T SHUT THE HELL UP AND GET OUTSIDE I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL BURN THE [bleep]ING HOUSE DOWN WITH YOU IN IT!!!!" The other gods then proceed to do as they're told. The difference here is Zaros uses a show of force to frighten his enemies. All Guthix has to do is make a threat and all the other gods are basically wetting themselves. Guthix didn't threaten the Gods. He threatened to destroy Gielinor. No God wanted that to occur.
  22. Jagex screwed Zamorak over since he used to get power from every warrior killed in the wilderness.
  23. I got Zamoraks back.
