Although I understand the slayer point somewhat (despite Soul Wars), why do level 3s with skills that require absolutely no combat impress you? e.g. Herblore Just me being curious :P The commitment.

Low level pking is completely different from high level pking and there's many differences in between the two. Some people enjoy a certain type of pking so they make accounts which stay in that specific level group. That's why people make skilling accounts?

Will you guys please forget about level 3 skillers? That's not the point - the point is that it's absurd that someone who doesn't even have one skill at 50 can enter these worlds, while someone who dedicated much more work into his/her character may not. I'm here to discuss the cons of the current requirement. It was the way you worded it, made it seem like you were complaining you couldn't get into them on your skiller. I think there needs to be different requirements over like 3 p2p worlds. Like one world has 1000 total level req, one has 1500 and one has 2000.

Because some skillers are awesome and you get the 9234567543 people who want to emulate that skiller. I was very impressed seeing a level 3 with a slayer cape, more so than I would be seeing a level 138 with one. Same goes for skills like mining, runecrafting, herblore etc.

The amount of respect a certain cape gets is all up to your own opinions. There is no definite "respect" for each skill. I think there is. For example, no matter where you go, slayer cape will always be more respected than cooking or fletching cape.

I personally think Jagex should release some of the member magic items to f2p. The items that nobody uses, like splitbark armour. Maybe the wave spells as well. Also snare.

I agree with the monsters not attacking part but it's common sense to avoid multi combat areas if you're on your own.

Double check this but I overheard some people alching maple longs/shorts. It's a loss but not too bad a loss.

I definately loved killing skillers. Got owned a few times by lucky dds specs though.

Definately the former, but I suppose people on here want both. Not to make it personal but does the fact that your a pure influence your answer? Because if defense = block instead of dodge Someone in pvp would have the obvious advantage if they trained defense. As far as i can see making defense as a block skill instead of a dodge skill would make pures obsolete as a balanced player would have an advantage But this change would change everything about runescape. Some bosses would be easier and some would become unsoloable as well as many different training monsters would be harder or easier then before. Is this worth it? is the real question If defence was a block skill it would block a certain % of an opponents attack. 1). It would make the attack skill completely useless. 2). Pures would still own as they can do higher damage at a lower level. And no my pureness doesn't affect my opinion, it would be a stupid update to change defence to blocking.

Why should lvl 3 skillers have access to these worlds anyway? Unlike a pure all a skiller account has is disadvantages in everything. Surely this is one more disadvantage to brag about?
