  1. I've never seen a guild with <4 people :/ (I switch between guild and wilderness coal mine.) I've never seen it with more than 5. And that's on weekends.
  2. (from a f2p standpoint) Sort of. If you're talking about the best of conditions, I still think woodcutting is faster (xp and profit). If you're talking about normal conditions, I think they're about equal (xp and profit). I'd like to toss in my 2 cents: Mining experience should be closer to wood cutting experience (and smithing should be closer to firemaking, but that's not this discussion). Whether that means wc gets less experience, or mining gets more, I don't know. The fact that each yew log gets 175 xp, and you can get multiple yews from a single tree... not to mention that there are many more yew trees in better locations than there are (equivelant.... mithril?) mining spots. Also the fact that yews (last time I checked) were 2x as much as coal or mithril... I meant in f2p. And in f2p, mining guild is (surprisingly) rarely crowded and has a vast amount of coal to mine, most of which is 3 seconds to mine (at 60 mining). Coal is so much faster than yews that the price of yews doesn't help it become more profitable than mining. Best of conditions and normal conditions (since for mining coal you'd always use mining guild after 60 mining), mining wins. I haven't done much mining in p2p, but I have done a fair bit of p2p woodcutting (was my first 99) and WC is definately not a skill I'd recommend for money making.
  3. 3/10. Not because I'm against your no-honour pking, just because it requires no skill whatsoever, which makes the vid rather boring.
  4. This was established on the first few pages.
  5. Fixed. Wow, I was just about to make that same change.
  6. At 60 mining coal is alot faster than yews at 70 woodcut. Much much faster.
  7. 'Yo I O W N U' Because I felt people deserved a fair warning before we fought. 'Evil Offence' because here we spell 'Offense' as 'Offence'.
  8. Now i have to do MA :wall: Good update.

Less trolls and idiots as far as I'm concerned. But as we all know, trolls and idiots are LOUD. Same amount of trolls/idiots, just with better grammar and a higher age average.
  10. You'd still have to eat whilst using prayer potions.
  11. And now nobody plays it! They'll whine about that next. Maybe next time Jagex will refrain from hyping up a lame minigame.
  12. I don't listen to the ingame music.
  13. It's a pretty good indicator... pures kill often and die often as well When you have level 50s running around with 99 strength, it's a poor indicator. If it was a good indicator you wouldn't ever need to look up your target on the highscores before you fought. people who used to stake wouldn't need hard to look up names since their combat level would indicate how strong they are.

I love how the general TIF thought process is 'if it isn't just like us it is bad and must be verbally abused'.

No, it isn't like that. We're talking about getting an ore from a rock a second AFTER somebody has taken the ore. NOT at the same time. It isn't a big deal at any rate though.
  16. If it was just a stupid idea people wouldn't be crying on TIF about it.
  17. You can do Ape Atol bit with 65 cooking and Chef's delight (M). Just do tuna or lobsters.

I've had the same thing happen a few times on my new account with iron ore. It's happened like twice, not very often at all.
