  1. I'd love for Jagex to implement beta-testing, even if I'm left out of it. All the secrecy is quite irritating to begin with, and if actual players test new content before it's released, then I'm sure far fewer bugs will slip through. Beta-testing would benefit both Jagex and the players, so I've no idea why they've refused to allow it for so long. There are literally thousands of players who'd be willing to beta-test for free, heh. Also, violating a NDA is a criminal offense; so long as Jagex explains the repercussions of leaking information, I doubt very many players would be willing to take the risk. I'm sure Jagex would be capable of keeping a tight lid on things.
  2. 'Definitely Farming or Slayer, in my opinion. :D There's so much potential in these two, and either guild would be great so long as it's thought out properly. However, I was disappointed with the Thieves' Guild (and with most of the other guilds, now that I think about it), so I probably wouldn't have high hopes for any new guilds in the first place, though. It's a shame, especially since the concept of "guilds" greatly interests me.
  3. I agree, and so have made the suggested change. The section now reads: Thank you for telling us about this, by the way. I've credited the OP, accordingly. :)
  4. Hmm. Thanks for the information, you two. In light of this, I've removed the note stating otherwise, so that should take care of the problem. :) 'Cheers, and thanks again for your time and consideration.
  5. Heya. :) I've left a note concerning the animate rock scroll in the guide and have also added your teleport suggestions to the recommended items list. You've been credited as well; thanks for your help! 'Cheers. ;)
  6. Thank you very much. :) I've incorporated the changes you've suggested, and have credited you for the tip. Saving the extra trip is definitely worthwhile, so thanks again.
  7. Ahh, yes. This has been brought to our attention. It's my mistake; I didn't consider that the experience gains might be relative to the Thieving level of individual players. I'll try to research this, but for now, the experience values listed in the guild guide are maximums (obtained at 99 Thieving). Thanks for the notice; I'll post back here if I learn anything more.
  8. I would like to go, but I'm not willing to fly to the UK, unfortunately. It's really too bad; if I lived there, I would definitely attend. :(
  9. I loved the voice acting in the tutorial, and certainly hope that we'll be seeing more in the future. The game's too large to (feasibly) provide voices for every NPC or anything on such a large scale, but I'm looking forward to seeing it done in future quests and the like. Perhaps that would work out well?
  10. That happened to my primal maul...and I got it yesterday, not recently (it was bound obv). Mhm, it's the same with me, heh. I'm not sure how a simple, 30-minute rollback managed to delete the game data, but there you go. :(
  11. Well, I'm quite pissed off at the moment. I've logged in for the first time since the servers were taken offline, only to find that my Celestial catalytic staff (tier 11, best staff) has disappeared. I've no idea how long it'll take to come across another.
  12. It appears so, heh, but hopefully they'll tweak it a bit more. I've gone from level 41 to not even being ranked on the hiscores.
  13. In my case (85 -> 87), I thought the first level was legit, but I knew there had to be a glitch after I gained a second level after that.
  14. I've been maging since obtaining a Celestial catalytic staff, so I craft Blood and Air runes at the beginning of each raid. I grew from level 85 to 87 Runecrafting before I noticed the glitch, heh. I certainly hope I won't get banned for it.
  15. To be honest, I don't particularly care about the different levels of support; I'm just glad that Tip.It can be discussed ingame again without the risk of being muted. As for the rest, the Admins have already stated that it will be resolved soon, so there's really no need to stir up more trouble. They have our best interests at heart, so we should leave this matter to them (IMO).
  16. As Zaaps said, it appears that these changes have already been implemented, and your name is listed in the credits. Because of this, I'll close this thread; please feel free to PM me if there's anything you'd like to discuss. Thanks!
  17. 'Looks like these details were added to the Bestiary entries at some point (you were credited, by the way). To be thorough, I've also gone ahead and added a note to the Atlas page as well. Cheers, and thanks for your submissions. :)
  18. You may want to try your hand at woodcutting Eucalyptus trees. Eucalyptus logs are comparable to Yew logs, but can be cut slightly faster and are easily banked at either the MA or Oo'glog bank.
  19. Heya. :) I've removed the instruction to use the 'Protect from Melee' prayer and added a note stating that Vanstrom won't kill players. We had already mentioned that Sarius Guile would interrupt the fight, so no change was needed there, however. Thanks for your submission; you've been credited you in the quest guide for your help.
  20. Thanks, I've made the necessary change and have credited you accordingly.
  21. Thank you very much for the submissions. :) I've implemented the changes and have credited you in the 'Cabin Fever' quest guide. 'Cheers, and thanks again!
  22. Everyone outdid themselves; this April Fools' Day was amazing! <3: <3:
  23. Would you be so kind to elaborate a bit more on your views - ie. do you mean that Jagex is dishonest ? - please explain ! He's probably referring to the tone of the writing; I imagine he sees this as something of a "gilded" post. It's all very endearing/flattering, but little of substance was said. Jagex laid it on a bit thick with this, heh, and so their message comes across as condescendingly false (to a degree). Mhm, I'm of the same opinion.
  24. Haha, I loved all the mischief that went on soon after we began. :D And I agree with Nic; it's thanks to everyone (Staff AND Users) that this event was such a success. It was amazing to see so many people getting into the spirit and actively participating in our little practical joke. <3: Thanks, everyone!
  25. Aww, I suppose I didn't spam quite enough to hide my sprite properly. Anyway, not all of the staff have posted theirs yet (some are away at the moment), so I'd suggest for you all to think about the contest picture you'll have to make in the meanwhile. :) I (or some other staff member) will post here when all of the sprites are available. Cheers!
