Second Tip.It FunOrb Tournament - Wongtong is the winner!
Mhm, in each match you'll have to talk to your opponent beforehand to agree on a set of rules.

shade robes
You're thinking of Ghostly Robes. The shade robes your friend obtained are nonmember, and are only useful for the prayer bonus they provide (although monk robes are better). Here they are, by the way: Shade Robe Top Shade Robe Bottom

15-Dec-2009 Blood Runs Deep
'Great quest. I really couldn't ask for more. I'm still wondering what happened to Silas, though. If you're talking about our quest guide, then yeah, the text is normally finished within a few hours after the quest is released. However, it has to be properly vetted afterward, and that process normally takes even longer than writing the guide in the first place. :P We haven't finished the maps that'll accompany the guide, but I can personally attest to the accuracy of the information; the quest steps are sound.

Second Tip.It FunOrb Tournament - Wongtong is the winner!
Forum Name: Rien_Adelric FunOrb Name: Rien Adelric F2P/P2P: F2P I have read the rules and accept them with no argument: Yep  Whoever faces me will have an easy win, but I'll try to practice enough before the start to at least make it interesting.

First Tip.It FunOrb Tournament - First Round
'Congratulations to Link! We played the best 2 out of 3 games; I won the first, with Link picking up the last two for the victory. :P

Sennitian correction
A crewbie has confirmed that the Ice Demon actually uses all three combat styles (primarily a form of freezing mage spell, but with secondary melee and ranged attacks). Thanks for bringing this to our attention; I've credited you accordingly. :)

Really need help with Missing My Mummy
The information you're looking for was in the "Tips, tricks, and notes" section of our quest guide, as completely restoring the mummy (to 100%) is done after the quest. Cheers. ;)

Pyrefiend (Level 43)
'Sorry for the late reply. As Kingjoe said, 7 crimson charms in 100 kills isn't a significant drop-rate and thus doesn't qualify for a note in the bestiary entry, unfortunately. Additionally, and perhaps a bit off-topic, any monster that drops either a gold, green, crimson, or blue charm can also drop the other three; it'll sometimes takes awhile, though. Welcome back to the forums, by the way. :)

First Tip.It FunOrb Tournament - First Round
Have Linkzelda30 and Troacctid had their match yet?

First Tip.It FunOrb Tournament - First Round
I do feel a bit guilty about that; it's probably something that should be prohibited in future tournaments. Anyway, both games were close, and I enjoyed them immensely. Thanks for the interesting fights. [hide][/hide]

First Tip.It FunOrb Tournament - First Round
Alright, how's tomorrow at 3pm EST? Also, and if you don't mind, can we stick with arcane/fire spells? I'm a newby f2p'er. As for the rules, I'm fine with just about anything, really.

First Tip.It FunOrb Tournament - First Round
Mhm, I like the idea; something small for the winner's signature and a mention in a HoF sticky(?) sounds like an excellent reward. Hopefully, it'll help to stir interest in future tournaments as well. :)

09-Nov-2009 - Champions Challenge Update and Hairstyles
There is a Werewolf Champion sitting on one of the thrones, however. Yeah, I've always been a bit disappointed in that. I think a Vampyre would have been much better suited as a Champion of Champions. Werewolves are only cursed humans, after all.

Whose opinion holds weight?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but...is this about trolls? I'm afraid there will always be trolls and flamers around, no matter what forums you frequent (this is the internet, after all). You can only ignore them and appeal to the moderating team if they truly bother you. 'Back to your point: If someone's after a bit of advice, he or she would do best by asking many people and finding the consensus, rather than simply taking the word of a single, complete stranger at face value. You'd have to be a fool to do otherwise, to be honest. It's nearly impossible to gauge the accuracy of information derived from an unfamiliar source, so, unless you personally know the person to be trustworthy and knowledgeable, you should never take such advice too seriously. Essentially, this is my point. I may be misunderstanding your post, but this all seems to be common sense.

Whose opinion holds weight?
So you are judging me by how long I have been a member on tipit? Unless I'm mistaken, he said that to demonstrate the flaws in your post - not because he actually means it. You can't (or rather, shouldn't) judge someone based on appearances alone. And yes, there are legitimate reasons why someone who has quit RS might want to help others; there are many who leave the game on good terms and occassionally wish to help the next generation of players. It's by no means a rare occurrence.

Champion's Scroll (Banshee)
Ooooh, thanks for letting us know so quickly. :o If you don't mind, I think I'll steal some of your information for the banshee champion/scroll database entries. (I kid; you'll be duly credited for it.) :P

guard
On closer inspection, there are actually four (heh) different types of guards in Falador. That was my mistake. I've renamed a few of the guard entries in light of this; hopefully, the new modifiers will clear up some of the confusion in the future. Anyway, the guards you were killing (the ones at the northwest gate) are the level 21 variants, so I've credited you in that bestiary entry. Another crewbie and myself did a bit of additional research, but it doesn't appear (at first glance) that the other guards in Falador drop charms. Perhaps the matter needs to be given a more detailed look, but we thank you for your contribution, nevertheless. :) I'm going to lock this thread for now, but, if you happen to learn anything more, then please feel free to pm me or create another thread. Thanks again for your work; it's most appreciated.
