  1. You can stop at 94 and just use boosts to make your overloads. God banner gives you +2 for half an hour. This should save you a pretty significant sum of money.

  4. Actually, this is really bothering me now. I can't find any monsters with combat 130+ outside of bosses (which I don't fancy camping for 50 kills).

  9. Well the issue with novice quests is that you can only do so many of them before you stop being a novice. You don't spend a lot of time at that tier.

  13. Firemaking has received more updates than construction, that's the one skill that really needs attention. Besides the fact that you're completely missing the point, construction has a major overhaul already in the works, and firemaking, as far as we know, has nothing planned at all.
  14. The quests we've gotten to continue existing secondary storylines have been extremely disappointing. Sixth Age storylines are bigger and more exciting, and they have a much better track record. (Battlefish? Seriously?)

  16. If you have a short window of time to send your ships out in the morning, shaving an hour or so off the voyage times is extremely relevant--a ship that arrives ten minutes after you leave for work sits idle in your port all day.
  17. If there are other good special missions to do instead, I could see it. The story missions only happen once, and they aren't going anywhere; you're not really missing out.
  18. So basically if you have an unupgraded slayer helm it drops normally. But if you have any upgraded slayer helm whether it be tier 1-3 it gets completely destroyed? I do not think that's fair at all. But otherwise there's no risk at all. You'd be able to get it back absolutely free, just by paying for 1.6m gp's worth of components! If it didn't cost more than a full set of Barrows armor, it would be unfair.

So I literally just now read the "Quality checklist" section of my Technical Writing textbook, like right before I saw this guide, and almost everything you've got here is practically straight off that list. Nice. :thumbup: I agree with Quyneax on all points, and I'll further stress the importance of visual components. Not just images and videos, but also tables and charts and stuff. How the information is arranged and presented is almost as important as the information itself. Break up your paragraphs with headings and subheadings. Use bulleted lists where appropriate. Highlight key phrases with boldface. A nice, laconic tl;dr section summing up the main points is often a good idea.
  21. It's for the smithing skill. When I kill monsters I pick up gems, bars, ores, etc. so I can use those things later on to make things. You might try the Brimhaven resource dungeon (80 dungeoneering). It has steel dragons and an anvil, so you can smith them into throwing knives (or whatever) on the spot.
