  1. It takes longer to get the scrolls than to get the trade goods, thanks to the story missions giving big heaps of em. So may as well shoot for the scrolls early on.
  2. The voiceover for that frame is "God fought god." I dunno what else you want. =P
  3. On this point, it's worth mentioning we have a visual on Bandos from the Origin of Gielinor video. There's a frame where we see Bandos fighting Saradomin. (RS Wiki has a screenshot.) He has the body shape of an ourg, but his face is more pig-like than Graardor's, so it's iffy. Worth noting we have an ASSUMED visual, it is by no means confirmed. Yes all logical clues would point to it being Bandos, but we have no actual confirmation of this. That's true, it could be some other unknown god who just happens by coincidence to wear Bandos-style armour and have the exact same symbol as Bandos. Or...it could be Bandos.
  4. I'm coming up on Admiral rank and I've only gotten enough resources/scrolls for two hats and two pants. It takes a while. But it shouldn't be too big a deal if you can't send out lots of voyages a day, especially once you unlock more ships and can send out three or four at a time.
  5. If you want to know your progress, talk to an adventurer in the bar while they're visiting. They'll tell you which of their missons you've done. Keep in mind that story missions are completely unaffected by the region you've chosen to focus on. If the adventurer has a story mission available, it will always show up while they're in port, and they'll always go in order.

  7. Because you have a limited number of loyalty points and there are better things to spend them on.
  8. If it's bones you're squeezing xp out of, you should get wings instead. The bonus is smaller, but they're cheaper, last longer, have a shorter cooldown, and look cool.
  9. Wisdom's not really very good. It saves maybe 30 seconds of training a day if you're at maximum efficiency for the full half-hour.
  10. Source? [qfc]14-15-954-64665117[/qfc] Fourth page, fourth post.
  11. On the upside, Mod Osborne confirmed that the TokHaar are one of the twelve Elder Artefacts, so maybe if you hang out with them enough you'll become a god.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if they just gave it to us regardless of how much essence is gathered. I would. If anything, I was expecting the altar to remain in the game perpetually, waiting to be activated.
  13. You get chimes along with the other resources. You shouldn't run out unless you get a lucky streak of 10k captains and use up your stock. And definitely get jade merchants for every ship.
  14. 1. Whichever. They're pretty similar. 2. If you're going to train hunter, get the hunter one. If you're going to train thieving, get the thieving one. If you're going to train mining...you get the idea. These ones aren't generally worth upgrading past the first tier, though, unless you're really going on a training marathon. (Greenfingers is the exception--all four levels are definitely worthwhile.)
  15. If you're going to use ultimates, Tsunami seems weak. I just use Omnipower on big single targets like bosses, and Metamorphosis or Sunshine otherwise. Setting up enemies in front of you for the AoE is a hassle.
  16. The Warship Shipwright is worth 10 points. Luxurious Shipwright is worth 20. So you need to swap in order to get the extra 10 points. Yeah, it's stupid.
  17. They were fairly quick actually, from the time they set up the feedback thread to the time they implemented policy based on it.
  18. See: Ending cutscene in Ritual of the Mahjarrat Got a link? http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Ritual_of_the_mahjarrat#Wrath_of_the_Dragonkin

  20. Guthix could presumably never become more powerful than the dragonkin by using the stone because the dragonkin would get stronger as he drew more power from it (as seen with Lucien vs. dragonkin in Ritual of the Mahjarrat).
  21. What I found with the rudder was that the extra speed often allowed me meaningful leeway in regards to getting the maximum number of voyages completed per day without having to mess up my schedule to do it. Without it, there would be times when I'd start a mission and be like, "Oh, this voyage is going to end an hour after I leave for work, and I won't be back until the evening." And when that happens, it's basically skipping a full voyage.
  22. That's what lifeboats are for.
  23. Jack of Trades is the #1 aura. Then after that, Penance and Vampyrism are good for combat, and Greenfingers is good for, um, noncombat. Getting the first tier of the skilling auras (Call of the Sea, Quarrymaster, Tracker, etc.) is also fine, since 5k points is relatively cheap; if you're going to be doing a lot of that skill, you could upgrade further, I guess.
  24. It doesn't make it any less stupid. "Universe" is meant to be the all encompassing entirety of existence. "Multiverse" is just redundant. If nothing else, it makes it pretty stupid to gripe about it.
