  1. You definitely want the claw just because it's cheaper. Enhanced Excalibur has your offhand covered, so you only need a mainhand weapon, and the claw is half the price of the others. And even if Excalibur gets nerfed and you need to buy an offhand chaotic to go with it, you're still saving 100k compared to a rapier or longsword. They have the same DPS, so no point wasting tokens.
  2. mind=blown Wow I feel dumb... Not because I bought any, but just because the only use I'd thought of so far was to boost the barb advanced course for a half hour a day. I don't think there any boosts that aren't useful--they let you use higher level training methods without having to pot up every two minutes. Some of the skills don't have a lot of options for it either, like runecrafting and smithing. And they work in Daemonheim too, right? You could pot up for free before you start a floor?
  3. Sold all my Greenman's Ale (m) at nearly full price. Guess people haven't caught on to the banner boost yet.
  4. The very first assassin event I did, the first four clues were "The target is wearing a hat. That should narrow it down." There was only one guy who wasn't wearing a hat. Then the fifth clue was "The target is not wearing a hat." I legitimately thought it was supposed to be a joke.
  5. Cherry trees don't do enough. By the time you're building totems, you're already pretty far along, and it's unlikely it'll pay for itself. If you could get it earlier, maybe, but once you're heading into the Pincers you should start being more concerned with story and trade good missions. I already don't do randoms at all anymore so I'mma say no. :ugeek:
  6. Lol I called it. I'm still debating keepsaking my ABS because CS is ugly as hell. CS is pretty ugly, but I can't imagine the Armadyl Staff being my first choice to keepsake. Ahrim Staff is way cooler, imo. As is Lightning Staff if you have it, or just regular old elemental battlestaves. A Necromancer staff would probably be my #1 pick. They have sweet particle effects, and...well, look at that thing. It's badass.
  7. Random events are still limited to one a day, so it's pretty bad. You only really want telescopes, jade statues, or parrots. And once you hit the endgame, you don't want telescopes.
  8. No. Your Zamorak's not in Chaotic, your Armadyl's not in Lawful, your Saradomin's not in Good, your Guthix isn't in Neutral, and you've put Zaros as Chaotic. :notalk:
  9. What have the other gods ever done for me, huh? Are they giving me area-of-effect freeze attacks and huge combat boosts? Are they providing me with the #1 best armour sets in the game? No. Zaros is hands-down the god whose patronage has been the most rewarding. The other gods want pawns. Zaros isn't interested in pawns. He wants queens. That's why he runs a streamlined operation with just a small team of powerful, loyal allies: quality over quantity. If you're one of those lucky few in his inner circle--which, if you've done any reasonable amount of questing, you are--you get to reap the rewards. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement. He doesn't want war and destruction or whatnot. He just wants to win the Iron Throne and rule all the Seven Kingdoms (and kick Zamorak's ass). Azzanadra and Wahisietel are pretty cool guys that I certainly don't mind teaming with, either. reminded me of my sunburst deck from years ago lol I'd go more with the Gateless rebel movement among the unguilded citizens of Ravnica. If we just stick to Ravnica guilds: Saradomin: Boros Zamorak: Rakdos Zaros: Orzhov Armadyl: Azorius Seren: Selesnya Sliske: Dimir Bandos: Gruul Godless: Gateless And the player character would be Jace Beleren.
  10. Have we done the traditional assigning of each god to Magic: The Gathering colors with this new info? Zaros: Black-white. His ultimate goals are power and control. Black wants power, white wants control. Ghost Council of Orzhova. Saradomin: White. Saradomin is a different aspect of white from Armadyl--the kind of white that wants to destroy all evil in the world for the sake of the greater good, not afraid to get some hands dirty if it means taking the fight to the enemy. Very white goals and very white methods. Lightwielder Paladin. Armadyl: White. Strong focus on the justice, law, equality, and order aspects of the philosophy. Aurification. Seren: Green. Nature goddess, natch. Her philosophy fits with green's ideals too, though, with an emphasis on living in harmony with others and with your surroundings. Asceticism. Zamorak: Black-red. Very red means (chaos and destruction) to very black ends (self-interest, dog-eat-dog stuff, gaining strength for oneself). Rakdos the Defiler. Sliske: Black. He's out for himself and doesn't hesitate to do whatever it takes to win. Altar of Shadows. Bandos: Green-red. He wants everyone to duke it out and may the best man win (green). He does this by riling up his followers and inciting them to war (red). Gruul Ragebeast. Godless: All five colors. They don't claim allegiance to any one philosophy, and believe mortals of all corners of Gielinor should band together to drive away the gods.
  11. *reading Book of Bandos* Wow, Bandos is a douche.
  12. A group of environmental activists has organized a picket to protest druidic activities in Lumbridge Swamp that they claim threatens local wildlife. "What many people don't realize is that wetlands are an important part of the ecosystem," said a spokesman. "This incursion disrupts the hunting grounds of the R.O.U.S. population and jeopardizes the habitat of several rare endangered species of eldritch horrors from the demon realms." An interfaith luchador tournament turned to chaos when Gludd, the representative of Bandos and the ogres, began smashing the venue's walls and attempted to eat the rubble. Commented Gludd: "Door was delicious, made good lunch. Me like lunch a door." Master Smith Ivar has announced that he will no longer smith weapons from starmetal. The mysterious glowing rocks have been causing all his workers to gain superpowers. "I know crime rates are down now, but the tights are too much," said Ivar, adding "Flame on!" before transforming himself into a fire elemental and flying away. Twenty more victims were found dead in Edgeville--the latest in a series of brutal killings. The guards have no new leads as to the whereabouts of the mass murderer, who has racked up a body count of nearly two hundred; most victims were Level 2 ordinary male citizens, although several guards have also been slain. Witnesses say the killer wore a suit of armor and a large sword, and extracted the bones of the men he killed. "We're clearly dealing with an unstable psychopath," said the Head Guard. "If you see someone killing people and burying their remains, please report him immediately so he can be brought to justice!"
  13. Agree or disagree: Tetsu will be the most valuable set because 90 fishing is the hardest of the skills to get.
  14. So yeah. I don't get why this isn't F2P. I mean... seriously?
  15. Surely then you'd need quest points, meaning not everyone currently would have full access to it, only those I'm assuming with max QP. Well a lot of the lore happened in the past.
  16. Divination seems like a great idea for a skill. I always love drawing two cards.
  17. <Zamorak hat> Don't kid yourself. Even if it's WWII, you're the Nazis. How many people have you murdered on a whim? Level 2 Men minding their own business? Guards trying their best to defend the city gates? If you're going to kill innocent civilians for no reason, I'm all for it. But you should own it. Be proud of your bloodlust. Don't be a hypocrite. Vote Zamorak! </Zamorak hat>
  18. <Saradomin hat> The God Wars are like World War II. Saradomin is the Allies. Zamorak is the Nazis. Both sides killed a lot of people and a lot of civilians. But is that really worse than what the Nazis would have done if they had gone unchecked? Guthix would have you stand by, neutral, and quietly let the Zamorakians perform their atrocities. If you don't want Hitler to win, vote Saradomin! </Saradomin hat>
  19. You should be using a merchant to get 13 instead of 10.
  20. realistically this wouldn't have been possible as it wasn't being tracked It was being tracked.
  21. I am surprised that they didn't change the mechanics of capturing them. You should be able to do it in one click instead of having to click the thing on the ground. I mean, what else are we going to do with it if we just shot it at a bush? Just detonate it automatically.
  22. It has to do with demographics, I imagine. There are fewer RuneScape players in China, so even though more people speak the language, there's less demand. I think they did Portuguese before Spanish because more of the people who speak Spanish also speak English already...or something like that.
  23. 100x yes Best part of the entire update. Not for me--I've completed them both. :boohoo:
  24. Same here, but I think it's worth having at least one parrot, assuming you're not maxed. 25k slayer xp >>> 39 spice, and any xp mission is better than a resource mission.
