Yeah, I like versteeg but byfuglien would have been better. In late June I heard a rumour they almost got Patrick Sharp but that never materialized. The thrashers put byfuglien on defence eh?

Yup. They need to put people in the front of the net more (but once again that goes back to them having no big centres.) Even if they called up Khadri, he's not a big guy... I found NY didn't really play a good game, both of their goals came off lucky breaks and the leafs dominated offensively...but they just can't finish.

I don't get why you would say sorry when she chose to do what she did. That's like saying, "Yeah you're the guy who shot that guy, and now you're in jail. I feel so bad for you, I'm so sorry!" It's hardly like that. She's obviously going through a hard time. Yeah, it's her fault(mostly) and there's nothing we can do. Sympathy is helpful and free. Arrogantly assuming you're above having hard times in your life is rude and immature.

It's one thing to point out that all you can do is "get over it", it's another thing to say anyone offering consolation is full of [cabbage]. Her situation sucks. Yeah, it's through choices she's made, but it still sucks. There's nothing that can be done about it, but the least you can do is say sorry. I think 16 is too young. Age gaps become more acceptable as you get older- like 18 and 20 is fine for instance but 18 and 16, not so much. It's up to you though, not a huge deal.

No one's trying to say the behaviors are the same. The classification for the behaviors are identical: a sexual attraction. Any sexual attraction is in this category, homo, hetero, pedo, or otherwise. Perhaps, but it does have a negative connotation to it, and pedofiles are widely accepted as disgusting people so to put homosexuals in the same category does have a negative connotation to it as well. Yes, and if you'll read my post I'm putting heterosexuals in that same group as well. My point is that as much as the left likes to say "the state has no place in the bedrooms of the nation" and "people's sexual preferences aren't our business" it's frankly untrue. We have all kinds of restrictions on what's seen as an "appropriate sexual attraction".
