  1. Just want to say we haven't forgotten about this, it's still being discussed.
  2. Old testament is pretty silly tbh. New testament is better.
  3. Weird. Not much I can suggest other than reinstalling java. Also, use netbeans. http://www.netbeans.org
  4. Well once you hit late 30's/early 40's chances of having a child with some kind of defect increases...not to say that always happens. I think before 50 is ok - 35 is only old if that's what you think. I'd want to be done having kids by that time. I mean, my dad didn't have kids until he was in his later 30's and now he'll be retiring when my youngest brother is still in elementary school....
  5. Wow, very nice Tripsis :D Like Nic said, I almost want to buy a tablet now...but I can't draw :(
  6. Damn, that sucks. Way is see it is all's fair though, as much as I think a fee is silly, fact is the guy didn't want to pay (would be different if he couldn't) and therefore basically deserved what he got.
  7. I am drunk and what is this? Locked.
  8. Yes. Depends how long he's talking about though - it may not be normal.
  9. You're comparing apples and oranges. Maybe you should compare it to birds or turtles, creatures that lay eggs. Are you allowed to go smash turtle eggs in the UK? Its illegal in America. Never heard of someone performing an abortion on another animal... maybe we need to give them those rights? Accidental breeding and we should *fix* the accident? I guess. So, when the world starts overpopulating (which is already happening), would Abortion still be considered murder? The world isn't overpopulated. The world's wealth is badly distributed. This overpopulation garbage is just something said by those who don't want to accept that the wealth they have they don't deserve. That's not to say certain areas aren't overpopulated.
  10. Rainy_Day.
  11. JVM is the java vm - so just your java version is fine. Post your computer specs as well please.
  12. Post your specs. What version of java (jvm and jdk) are you running?
  13. Locked on request, and well...topic got silly.
  14. Welcome to the forums, and nice to meet you :) However, we don't allow greetings topics because if we did the page would be flooded and the discussion topics would be impossible to find! Locking.
  15. Doesn't IE still come preloaded with every version of windows? I was under the impression that the ruling merely forced them to allow users to uninstall it.
  16. Already posted here: http://forum.tip.it/topic/278143-twrcsf-defeats-dh/ Locking.
  17. He did say he admired his lack of stupidity...

Don't generalize all Canada's connection because of yours. It might be the same for my parents, where they do not get the connection they pay for, but for me and all my friends we have a stable connection at the speed advertised by the plan. So, while staying in the forum rules, where do you live? I know it's probably rural, but I could check if you can have better than this. I'm in the middle of the GTA. See below though. I don't know of any residential service that offers 130Mbps speeds, anywhere. There are a decent amount of places that offer 100/100Mbps, but they are few and far between in the Canada/USA area. May I ask what ISP you use? With rogers. Although I took a look at the plan I'm on and it's actually 3 Mbps. I don't know why I thought 130. At any rate, I'm not getting what I pay for, and I'm not alone. I can't find the article at the moment, but anyway what it was saying is that Canadian internet is suprisingly bad in that many fast, low latency connections are offered but often they don't quite to live up to what's offered compared to many other developed countries.

Actually, Canada's internet is mediocre. There's a lot of "under-service" so I'm getting 100kbps on a plan that's supposed to be 130 Mbps.

    See my pm.

Why would you even bother with something like that? You can get far better internet where you are. But it assumes dial-up is a 56k connection * 19 = approximately 500 kbps. So yeah, you're looking at a good increase but not that much.
  22. Damn, makes a year since SE closed then :( Always liked you guys, congrats, and here's to another year! Ps. hi dan!
  23. Stay on topic bros! No more spam. Spam spam spam spam spam...
  24. They've been predicting this kind of thing for a while, but there are several problems that come up right away - such as gravity and extreme temperature. I'll be more exciting once they find something we could practically live on. Not to mention the 87000 year journey there.
  25. As much as the idea of micro-transactions annoys me, I think it makes sense from a business standpoint. I find it hard to beleive valve made any money off TF2 in the first place despite the huge member base - this is a way they can make some more money without having to charge more to play or really affect the gameplay. Also doesn't hurt that tf2 players are hat-crazy...
