  1. Eh, I don't eat mcdonalds anyway. But yeah, pretty gross, but expected.
  2. Saw easy A. It was pretty funny, not a great movie but a decent watch for sure
  3. And I thought you didn't like homosexuals acting like they were better than everyone else? There would be no style if the world consisted of 100% macho straight guys. I think straight women and straight guys who like style stuff handled it fine before gays started being into that.
  4. Uhh yeah citation definitely needed on that one ;) People don't like homosexuality for a few reasons as far as I've seen. 1) Moral or religious objection. 2) It's strange and unusual. 3) Because they've been doing it for most of history.
  5. That would have been PR suicide for the government though...
  6. Good luck
  7. Bump because Toronto just beat the rangers in OT. Intense game, domination by the leafs to the point of 3-1 but then some bad goals led to the rangers tying it. I can't describe how refreshing it is to follow a team your whole life knowing that they'll blow the lead and lose in OT, but then it actually doesn't happen. Best start in 17 years, #1 in the league now :D
  8. I like Tripsis' second idea. Varrock library could be modified to be for original literature and literature discussion.
  9. Are you even reading my posts? I said harmless redundancy is a terrible reason for removal of the rule. If the current rule gives an ounce of flexibility to a few users very rarely, that's enough reason to keep it. I don't even see why you're arguing this, as it doesn't hurt you in the slightest (or anyone for that matter).
  10. Cleaned up some spam. Keep it clean or warnings shall be had.
  11. Criminals don't buy their guns from stores..if there are no stores around. Gun crime in Canada happens. It's low, precisely because it's a hell of a lot harder to obtain a gun illegally than it would be to buy it from a store legally.
  12. Congrats :P However, this is more suited to the "today" thread, try posting there: http://forum.tip.it/topic/195466-today/ Locked.
  13. I remember those :D Ahh the memories...
  14. Yeah I need to get them adjusted I think...
  15. If you could go for ten pull-ups you'd basically have a guarantee of being fine. I've found the number I can easily do is very dependent on my warm-up/overall energy that day.
  16. Yeah the Penguins have not looked impressive at all this season :? Still, Toronto undefeated 3 games in, not going to complain :D I wouldn't even consider firing burke/wilson for another two seasons as least. Coaching/gming the leafs in Toronto has got to be the hardest job in professional sports.
  17. Yeah, I'm sure it varies based on the drug in question.
  18. Oh God I'm so white....
  19. I won't lie, I used to like Nickelback, like 4+ years ago. Their songs are catchy, and at the time that was all I wanted from music. As I got older my tastes changed and now I prefer music with some sort of intelligent message, and where talent is involved. If you were to claim, like some do, that Nickelback is more talented then certain other bands, I'd debate that, but everyone's free to like what they like as far as I'm concerned.
  20. Then why couldn't they type up the post in the Google Translate box? They could. But why should they have to? In many ways you're right, the rule is redundant to a point. However, the redundancy isn't leading to anything negative and does allow for cases (however infrequent) where a user could benefit from the policy. Unless you can show some sort of negative other than slight redundancy, the policy probably won't change.
  21. The rule isn't fully redundant. Let's say you speak English and German. You want to post in german, since it's your native language you can think better in it. (we also have many german speakers on these forums). You write up your post in german, and then you can post, as long as you run to google translate quickly and grab the english version (which you've been quite keen on doing).
  22. And isn't Japan's suicide about twice as high as the mortality rate due to guns? That doesn't stop them from claiming #1 on the average longevity. There's probably about 10 different reasons I can think of that better explain life expectancy than the capitalism health-care nonsense in the OP. Japan's suicide rate isn't about the gun laws (from what I've read), rather, it's a cultural thing. Suicide is much more acceptable and dishonor is avoided at all costs. This. @ the gun thing: yeah, the states has highest gun crime per capita, but I doubt it's at a level that could affect these stats. @US paying higher prices for medicines: That actually may not be true - it tends to be the care that's more expensive. I read an article about it today, saying canadians actually often pay more for prescriptions drugs. Probably a lot of imports from the states so I guess that contributes...
  23. Yeah that bird looks like happy leo in bird form. Love the style, as usual
