  1. I don't agree with that - heavies can be difficult but I've seen many a time where a good sniper decimates a ton of heavies on a cart. I've also seen times where a spy completely wipes out the entire team because they're all facing to the front. In terms of payload being boring; it can be if you're playing with a low number of people. In order for it to be a challenge you need to have a full team.(The server I always play on is 16v16 95% of the time)
  2. Yeah that's the one. Looks like that feature was added recently. To be honest, I don't mind much, as long as I don't see them :P
  3. I can't see RIM stealing customers from Apple with this, Apple has way too much experience in this field. Personally, I think they're both useless.
  4. Really? I've found adblock for chrome to be just as good as the FF one...
  5. Do what she wants. Panic attacks aren't fun, my girlfriend used to have them. Don't make her feel as if she has to deal with you as well (even though you're just trying to help) Give her space. Also, make sure she's getting help, if she needs to take pills, she needs help.
  6. I think Bentomat's point is that since there is a dependency, he can't concentrate without weed now.
  7. I did that once tbh.
  8. Uh yeah, I do, sorry. But let's talk about your view of animals. When you see a wasp flying around, you invite it to dinner, right? After all, it is your equal. When you see a racoon outside in the cold, you offer it your warm bed, right? After all, it is your equal. You have your pets sign their own forums for licenses, right? After all, they are your equals. No facts to back it up? So don't post.
  9. Yes. Then how is a random biological event murder? Because you have killed a being that has potential human life. Usually a genetic defect, but it still caused death to a innocent being. Yes, but no one specifically caused it. Therefore at most you could say mother nature murdered it.
  10. Yes. Then how is a random biological event murder?
  11. I'll rephrase that. Vegetarianism is not any more unhealthy then meat-eating.
  12. No, because sperm cells aren't humans. They're cells - cells that don't contain human dna. They're a part of a necessary whole. Do you even know what a miscarriage is?
  13. Ahh, so you don't eat, right? Being vegetarian is not unhealthy in the slightest - like with meat-eating it has its advantages and disadvantages.
  14. I'm pro-life...pro-human life. I oppose the death penalty. As I've said - yeah, I eat meat. I enjoy it too - because, guess what: an animal is not a human. The masturbation argument is completely ridiculous because a sperm cell has not yet been formed into a child and natural biological processes waste it anyway - same to the ovulation argument. If your argument had any merit the church would be shunning those who have miscarriages. Oh, and also, it's not only religious people who are anti-abortion.
  15. Call her and tell her you're not interested.
  16. And I'm telling you if everyone paid equally nothing would ever get done. It would be financially unfeasible to build roads that were anything but major. Let's put it this way - the street you live on probably cost several hundred thousand dollars to pave, plus a few more tens of thousands every few years to maintain. I obviously don't know where you live but I doubt there are more than 30 houses on a street like that. That's 10 grand a person just to build the damn road. For many people, thats a year of taxes. Bearing equal weight is like communism: nice in theory. That's about as far as it goes.
  17. Hm. Would a logical man such as yourself at least agree that your attitude is very selfish, regardless of what your obligations might or might not be? Selfish? Probably. But what it all comes down to is, why should I give money that I earned to something that didn't earn it to do something that doesn't affect me? So you're suggesting that you personally should bear the full cost for your education, for every road you could possibly drive on, for every single thing the government pays for you? That's a hell of a lot more than 30%, let me tell you that.
  18. While you drive on government funded roads, attend government funded schools, are protected by government funded soldiers, are allowed freedom by government laws, able to buy foreign goods due to government regulations...the list goes on and on. But no, you don't owe the government anything. No Sir.
  19. Biologically, it's alive. Science is 100% clear on that fact. What defines thought, anyway? A newly born child has next to no thought process. Most animals have next to no thought process. People with mental disabilities have limited thought processes.
  20. I laughed :D

The trolling issue is an interesting one. On the one hand, it's undeniable that it causes drama. Because it causes drama, it has the tendency to make things more interesting than they would be otherwise; but only to a point. I like Dandaman's post - many people just don't know how to troll anymore. The trolling posts on RSC basically amount to "lol u mad" which is neither funny nor clever. Actually, I was playing Tf2 the other day and some guys got into a conversation about this same topic. There's no effort or intelligence in trolling anymore: this "new generation" which we've seen trolling over the past year or two basically just posts stuff like "u mad bro" and then considers themselves a good troll. The fact is that trolling is a mixed boat. While it may be funny from time to time, a lot of the time it affects people negatively (like that guy from Corr who killed himself) and it clearly far surpasses what should be acceptable. Even though it's the internet, and you should be prepared for certain things before entering a community of this type, it's unfortunate that so often we forget that this is really just a game, and we aren't even good at it anymore.
  22. Happy Birthday, always thought your name was cool :P
  23. If you're so against size-ism, it's interesting that you're so critical of the pro-life, seeing as the pro-choice hold size-ist views as well. Baby inside womb? Not a human. Baby outside womb? Now it's human. But nothing's really changed.....
