Blast furnace isn't really a mini-game. It's just unnote coal and mith, dump in furnace, help out on spots if needed, smith, repeat. With current prices, you'll actually make some money too if you make mith bolts. You'll also need to smith less since you get the smelting exp. However, if you really despise blast furnace, you could make iron knives, you'll lose about 300k.

I like the guide, never trained on ankous due to the people there so good job on it. Just some things I found in the guide that interested me: I'm just wondering how you don't suggest to use pots the whole trip since they'll speed up your kills resulting in more money. Since you end up with empty inventory spaces at the end, shouldn't you just keep the battlestaves and sell them on ge? I'm not sure how hard they hit so rune might be just as good as barrows, even though barrows cost like 10k/hour to use lol

Use fire bolt and gauntlets like everyone else said. Any other elemental spell will be a waste of time/money. Blood runes will sell, you just have to wait a bit.

I don't think you need a quest to get the dusty key, you just need to kill a jailer and free the prisioner right? so there is no quest really for that. And if you did watchtower too or heroes like SportsGuy said, you can kill them there too.

The... the costs of rune mining? You mean the rune pickaxe? The banking? In order to effectively mine rune, you have to be able to bank as quickly as possible so that you don't miss the next ore and mess up your times. You bank while you wait for the next ore to spawn, so it's not a factor other than getting good at doing it quickly. It doesn't take THAT long to get to 85. It certainly doesn't take as long as 91 Runecrafting or getting the combat levels to effectively make max profit at green dragons. Interesting. How do you know how long it takes???? your sig shows you don't even have 85 mining. Dont talk crap without evidence. Im not saying rune mining is a slow way of earning money, but it takes too long and its quite boring. Psst...try clicking his rs name on the left, he has 87 mining. Anyways, mining is enjoyable if you star hunt and go granite mining once in a while. That's how I got from 74 to 80.

Maximise your tokens by repelling and attracting one of your orbs each round (you don't need to score any) and you should get the maximum you can at 50/50. I don't know how long it would take for the tablets but it's about 540 or 450 (I can never remember) tokens per round. The max is 630 for p2p, dunno for f2p. (400 for winning 4 altars, 30 for doing something on 3/4 altars you lose on, 200 bonus for winning 4 and losing 3). But I wouldn't play GOP for that many tabs, you'd die of boredom and it's probably better to just use zmi.

I don't think it will make enough so just go level it :) OT: You can but getting the +6 is very rare and even when you get it, you need to run from fally east bank to the altar and hope you don't drop a level lol. I did it at 64 with stews though for safety.

Think it's w22 for free but you won't get the 630 since there's 6 altars.

Would not rely on stew since it's a 1/30 chance to get the +6. You can use mature greenman's ale for a +2 to herblore although you won't find them on the ge and it's hard to brew so just rely on the regular one for a +1. For farming, use a garden pie for a +3 boost.

Apparently, stars don't land in lumby west mine, well that's what I've heard. But otherwise, this is an excellent guide lol. Got me addicted to star mining everyday now.

There's always the granite crab, ibis and granite lobster if you want to slightly speed up fishing. Otherwise, the potions/pies aren't really worth it.

I'm actually glad BTS will be removed since it's never any surprise when something comes out. I'd prefer if like an unexpected quest pops up every now and then.

Yes, it's very worth it. The 5% does make a difference (which is especially useful @ armored zombies) and besides, chivalry and piety drain at the same rate. Being able to bless gravestones is good too even if you don't do team bosses.

Hm, I would really just try to look for a spot at red chimps. I can usually find a spawn so just use the bow and arrow thing or w/e.

Okay, for camping, it's either : Guthans, btp, or bunyips (which you can't use). A good setup? Whatever you wear for meleeing things +salve . I honestly doubt there was ever a guide here about how to kill ankous. EDIT: don't feel like bumping this topic so I'll just edit "no point of bringing up guthans, btp, or bunyips?" lol You asked for "ways to stay there for a long period of time" and you even mentioned btp. forget it.

uh it's not that hard...just bring a couple super sets, and standard melee gear and use btp if you want or something.
