So right now I'm ranging hobgoblins next to the crafting guild. Is there a big difference between iron and bronze arrows? I'm thinking of downgrading to save some money.

With 99 Defense myself, I have no problem taking the hobgoblins by the crafting guild. You can make a profit off limpwurt roots too(about 24k per load).

What's the fastest range exp F2P? Monster? Bow? Arrow type? Right now, I'm ranging the hobgoblins by the crafting guild using a maple short bow and iron arrows. Edit Is there any difference between iron and bronze arrows? That being damage and durability (broken arrows.)

I train in the SOS everyday, and I just noticed that there are some shades (lv83) hanging around the starting area of the 4th floor. I checked the Patch Notes thread on the RSOF and couldn't find anything about adding shades there, so I'm thinking this may be a glitch.

But then what if someone only gets members for a month? The exact same argument would apply. They would never have a chance at being at the top of either high score list. Honestly, creating a f2p highscore list would just create too many problems for Jagex to even really bother with it. I believe that if they wanted to be at the top of a list (let's say F2P), they would've considered becoming P2P very carefully. Anyone with enough common sense won't start crying once they step foot into a P2P world only to realize that they're not at the top of the F2P list anymore. They'll just have to work their way up the P2P ladder. That's true though, making a F2P highscore list might actually make P2P a little bit less appealing for some. Personally, I think it's fine how it is.

So, this is all based on the assumption that the more income that F2P generates, the more updates it'll receive? Assuming that statement is true, I still do not support your idea. If a mere 10 second ad after logging in turned away enough F2P players that Jagex removed the ad, then having an ad interrupt gameplay every 30 minutes would be even worse. Though, assuming that the amount of income F2P generates is equal to how many updates it'll receive then yes, I agree with sees_all1.

If Jagex is really opening up the forums to F2P, I may post a thread about this there.

People train skills to make money, adversely, people spend money to train skills. I'd say skills, it's rather difficult to make money without them(marketing aside). Besides, you could play the game without money, but you can't play it without skills.

Bioshock was amazing, though Shadow of the Colossus was excellent too. Lastly, I'd have to say Okami, but Dark Cloud 2 was good too.

Meh, been there done that. Anyways, since you're apparently F2P, I'm going to have to burst your bubble: Dragon weapons/armor are P2P only, as for the corrupt dragon, massive waste of money. The best place to train at your level would be at the flesh crawlers (SOS 2nd Level). If you get your defense level high enough (Maybe around 65-ish?) you can try training at the Giant Spiders (SOS 3rd Level), you won't get any loot, but if you use cheap food, you might make a profit off randoms(I have).

Your carrying steel items?

The Rune Scim is better. The (rune) longsword only hits 1 point higher than the scimmy, but the scimmy hits 1 speed bump (check the Knowledge Base) faster than the longsword.

Uh, why? Is there any reason why WASD movement is better than click based movement? Is there any real reason to used WASD? Also, you said that many FPS's use the WASD keys to move, yes they do, but those are FPS's, and this is Runescape, a java based browser (third person)MMORPG, kind of like comparing apples and oranges.

Or you could just say lime-green. I don't think that this idea is very well developed, your 'Zin' ore is used to make an anti-dragon breath armor with the stats of black d'hide, yet at the same time it's minable at only level 40-49? Comparably, it takes 70 mining to mine adamant, which (adamant armor) is only a bit stronger than black d'hide.

The best F2P melee setup is full rune with rune gauntlets (note that when you buy them off the G.E, they'll be broken, you'll need to repair them at FOG). You can use a zerker shield if you want, but it defense stats are barely higher (+1) than a regular rune kite. Use a power amulet for training, but a lot of people prefer the strength amulet for pking thanks to the strength bonus. Corrupt Dragon is an absolute waste, don't bother with it.

Hopefully, it the only update that I really think F2P needs, though in order for that to equally benefit everybody eligible for a skillcape, they'll have to make it so that skillcapes cannot be purchasable in F2P, but can be worn. Basically, make skillcapes kinda like maple logs or coloured (Canfis) gloves, purchasable only in P2P, but usable in F2P.

Not a bad guide so far, but it'd be a lot more helpful if you posted some pictures, maybe even a few maps.

Pure essence can be purchased and used in F2P, however can only be mined in P2P worlds.

Try the anvils in West Varrock, they're right next to the bank.

Yup, that's what I did, though, if you want, you could try bringing an ax along to cut the yew tree near the Earth Alter, try and break even(Heck, I made a small profit).

Oh noes! 666! I agree with you completely! You know what else? I think that Jagex should also remove anything relating to the devil from Runescape! Imps, Lesser Demons, and ugh, Greater Demons. The mere notion that a demon can be greater offends me. In case anybody takes this seriously, this is sarcastic.
