  1. Aren't you supposed to have fun while playing a game? Stats aren't everything. And you can't get higher stats if you quit eh ;) .
  2. There are no revs in pvp. And lol free post count for the guy below.
  3. Besides the name, what's better about your newer account? I'd definitely stick with the main.
  4. I believe a +1 would be appropiate here. Bring excalibur too, it helps take less damage. If you bring 6 range pots, that would speed up your kills too but you'd have to bank every 4 hours, entirely up to you. The setup looks good though. Have fun  And ray, I don't know about your dial-up, but my dial up never lagged. It only made my downloads really (seriously, 7.5 kbps wtf) slow. Just try monkey madness again, should be easy for you :D
  5. I believe almost every monster that drops gems also drops the shield left half. The most surprising drop I've ever gotten is probably a ranarr from randomly killing a level 2 man or something :P
  6. If you have an accumulator, yes. If you have 55 slayer, broad bolts are better and cheaper than mith bolts.
  7. Sodom - Nuctemeron into Nuclear Assault - Radiation Sickness
  8. The Mist. I read the book before watching the movie and the ending really surprised me, in my opinion the movie's ending is better than the book's. I really like the way the made the aliens (or whatever they are) look, too. Pretty good movie :D
  9. I have a suggestion. Try the caves your method, do whatever you're going to do with your god spells or whatever. If you haven't succeeded after a week, realise you could have spent that week getting 70 range/def and 52-60 pray. Then go get that and try again, this time following our advice. I got my cape with 74 range, 60 pray and 70 defence, in 3 tries, using this guide and watching youtube vids for Jad. And I can promise you, it works much better if you actually know what to expect and with the right stats.
  10. Do the quest for my arm's patch, then start farming herbs whenever you feel like it (toadflax/kwuarm/snapdragon/ranarr). f you're not after a specific level, just only do that. If you want a bit of extra xp, plant willows and curries too, they're not expensive and you'll still make a big profit off the herbs. All the patch locations are in the tip.it guide. Good luck farming! :D
  11. Wait, let me guess. You used to be pure f2p, only started slaying after level up message update and you're already 85? 10/10 for the slaying, 8/10 for the bank and 9/10 for the stats
  12. You haven't farmed a lot, have you? The minimum is indeed 5 if you use secateurs + supercompost. The max I've personally gotten is 17, but it's very rare as it only happened to me twice in over half a year of farming. Around 6.5 is the average you'll get, it depends on the herb you grow. Ranarrs will yield a lower average herb yield per seed than irit or something. I haven't tested this myself though, I've only ever grown snapdragons/dwarf weeds and I can say the average you get per dwarf weed seed is higher than the amount of herbs you get per snapdragon seed.
  13. That is exactly what opportunity cost is. Using the spines to pay for a yew tree is an opportunity cost of 33k, whether you picked them or bought them. I am well aware of this fact, I didn't need it explained to me once, let alone twice  No. You missed the point. You will gain farming experience around 12.5% faster by paying for all of your trees, rather than simply using supercompost on every tree patch. For every 8 yew trees you plant with only supercompost, 1 will die. Plant 100 seeds, and 12 or 13 will die. Plant a thousand seeds, you will lose very close to 125 of your trees. These are additional trees that must be grown for the same amount of XP, costing the extra waiting time for those trees, or alternately, time out of what you are doing several times per day to go check on your trees. Either way, you have to spend more time for the same amount of XP that you get from paying the farmer to look after your trees. And time is worth radically different things to different people - you can't quantify it and say for certain whether or not the extra time and/or effort is or isn't worth an extra 31k per tree. A tree run takes about 6 minutes, so it takes 48 minutes to plant 40 yews. If you don't pay, 1/8 trees will die. You'll get 245k xp (at 7k xp/tree). If you do pay, you'll get 280k xp but you'll have to pay 33k/tree more, 1320k. If you didn't pay, it will take one tree run (6 minutes or ~8 hours) to catch up with those who did pay. Since you're training farming anyway, I think I can assume you like it. Why not spend 6 minutes/8 hours/1 day or something more to save 1.3m? It's only a 12.5% increase in time after all, which isn't a lot considered the money saved. I can understand why one would pay for their yews, but you can get more xp and still save money by not paying. You will have to spend a few extra days waiting though, but I think that's not a high price to pay.
  14. Well, I'm not getting any better yields than I got at a lower level so I think I can confirm it doesnt.
  15. Yes, Amundogus2 I'm guessing you don't have a pair? As I said in the other thread, only people that don't have them will be the ones to complain. No, I don't. But I have logged into a pvp world with full hp and been instantly k0ed by a pair, nothing I could do about it. While the D Clawer just had to spec away. No skill, no fair. Go get yourself a pair of dragon claws then then we'll see who's doing the complaining. There's always someone that won't be happy with what Jagex introduce into the game. :shame: Yeah let's release a 98 farming tree that grows godswords. Only the ones without 98 farming will be complaining :D
  16. Hey bouwzie :D Nice blog you have here, good luck on your goals (especially the 80+ one)!
