Is it 2013 already! wow time flys! Kennith's Concerns was the last sea slug quest and was launched march 08; so only a little over 3 years ago. You could even argue that we had a sea slug quest of sorts last year cause they featured in the penguin quest briefly; but thats a bit of a stretch. Oh, I completely forgot about that one. I could only remember the most recent one with the Mother Mallum in it. Well at least if there was another since then there's an even higher chance of the next tier armour, and it has been almost 5 years since the proselyte set itself came out anyway, so it could do with an upgrade.

I'm quite excited for the final Sea Slug quest. Since it's the final one and it has been 5 years since the most recent in its series, there's quite a good chance for the next tier of Temple Knight armour to be released. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm disappointed this time next week though.

You don't need to be a member to watch that video. It is more likely that most of the people disliking the video are annoyed F2Pers who are angry that they'll get nothing from this update, which is further supported by your vote and comment. Even if you assume all the voters are members, would many people really quit over this? I can understand disliking the update, but cancelling membership wouldn't make sense since you'll be getting more benefits than ever for the same price. The only irony in those pictures that I see is how you consider yourself one of their customers after vowing to never pay them a penny.

Since the auras seem to have an activation animation, I hope they're not limited use. That would be kind of annoying.

Whoever is doing this will just sign their messages with a random Jmod's name now... I do think people overreacted a bit though. If Jagex added microtransactions they would likely all be cosmetic, or as least not help you advance through the game faster, like they're currently planning with 8Realms. I can't imagine Jagex doing something like selling gold, levels or epic equipment for a long time, despite how they're currently acting.

I logged out during the first one (because of a glitch that made it impossible to finish) and I think it still let me continue from a checkpoint.

I just paid someone for my first 250 Duel Arena kills and I'm already sick of it. Anyone else who wanted to cheat the hats is welcome to them, although they'll probably fix it eventually so you need to kill different people each time . Being able to wear any of the previous hats you've unlocked was a good idea though. Something like that should have been probably been used for trimmed skillcapes and other similiar stuff. Wyverns, higher LRC, black demons, Tzhaar-Ket. Black demons and Wyverns shouldn't have been missed since they're not really near any noncombat areas. I kind of disagree with LRC though because it's a place mostly used for skilling. It would have been better if they had just made everything left click by default and put an option to change it to right click.

I don't really have a problem with it in certain minigames. In Castlewars for example, there is no benefit for actually playing properly, unless you enjoy it. I don't care if some random people don't get their tickets, but even if I don't do anything I can still get what I came for (games played). I do think it would be a problem in games like Pest Control though, because losing means nobody gets anything at all. Maybe the CW problem could have been avoided if the cape required you to own at least 2.5k tickets, but it's many months too late to change that now. I leeched 30-35 games yesterday in Castlewars to see what kind of abuse the poster was talking about, but nobody said anything to me about it. The Zamorak team was almost consistently winning too despite all the leechers, although that might be why nobody flamed me.

He has the levels to create himself a gorgonite 2h, so it's not gonna do much harm to bind it now, especially since there's a chance he won't see another. Having to make a weapon at the start of every floor for a few million xp is a small price to pay for a hex, in my opinion.

Then that would make Obby cape worthless and the price would plummet. Obsidian cape is already worthless. The only reason it is 36k is because that is its alch price.

Are you already wearing completionists cape? And that's what it requires to trim it? what the differance between trimmed and normal? Someone in the HLF says it makes the particle effects and emote dragon a golden colour.

I'd be surprised if the stats are in any way better to what we currently have access to. I'd be more inclined to think that the capes will have no stats at all, like clan capes. They're aesthetic items, surely. Jagex are not likely to hand out Chaotic capes to people who have played for a few years. Yeah I can imagine the capes of 10s will have stats all worse than a 99 cape. The cape for all 99s be slightly better than skill capes And master cape be better still But the 5 and 10 yr capes i cant imagine being better than a skill cape Why would a cape that requires 13,034,431 exp to get (level 99 (skill cape)) have better stats than a cape that requires 133,658,300 exp to get (all skills level 90 cape)? Edit: Even the all 70s cape will require more total exp than a skill cape will. Eventually the quest cape will need more experience than a trimmed skillcape, and that has higher stats.

Wins what exactly? Imo Aasiwat just won. That honestly makes no sense. You don't win by not taking part in something. Using that logic I am better than everyone at everything I have never tried.

Not naming him in this post is kind of pointless. I could find out who it was in a few seconds since you mentioned his locked thread is still up. I think it is fine though. The fact he got banned means he didn't respect the staff members' wishes, therefore it is perfectly acceptable for them to do the same to him. It's not theft since the user willingly gave the information to Tip.it. I'd be against it getting deleted though. Since it seemed like a popular guide, that user not being able to follow the rules shouldn't mean the people who use his guide should suffer because of it. It would be fine if he wanted it deleted under normal circumstances, but this just seems like his last act of spite to the people who banned him. I was never really interested in writing guides myself so it hasn't really influenced me.

Hey bro, ever heard of DGS? Also, please don't suggest that world to people who aren't 100 yet. Stuff like that ends up ruining worlds. There's a reason people chose that requirement and you shouldn't be encouraging people to ignore it.

I wouldn't say it's fair to do all that just for a trim. The Uber Cape should have most of that and if you can't do it then you'll just have to be content with the Maxed Cape.

I haven't had any fake Jagex emails yet, but I am getting the same type of thing from Blizzard Entertainment about WoW. I've never been on anything WoW-related though so I'm kind of interested in how these people are getting email addresses.

The NPC isn't the one using skills to make the stuff, so it shouldn't matter if you pay him or have him drop it for you. If combat was the only thing you could do, where do you think the money to buy from an NPC would come from? In the end buying from an NPC or killing them is the same thing. I'm pretty sure the main point was that it is just possible for combat to survive without the other skills. It can. It doesn't matter how hard, slow or boring it is, the fact is combat doesn't need skills.
