Anyways, get a noob who has read no guides and has had NO previous encounters with Zilayana, no advice from friends either. imagine him to be lvl 120. He comes in, tries to melee her in decent (full torag, dfs and whip), after getting pwned hard by all of them, he will probably be thinking "omfg that monster is strong its impossible to solo!!!!!1!!". Kree'arra had the highest max non-jad before right? It took a while but people learned how to kill them, and WITHOUT THE UBER L33T EQUIPMENT WE HAVE NOW (aka, full bandos, GS, armadyl armour, summoning). Even though revenant jad is a huge step up and nearly unsoloable with our current equipment, it will soon be soloable once geniuses find out the methods. oh and btw, uber damaged it. I stopped trying my cannon after 3 shots, a message appears showing that it is ineffective. Also, bringing an archer ring of ring of wealth if soloing works too, you only need jennica's to enter.

Why are you talking about the shield when this thread is talking about rubies...? The beast is being killed a lot by people using ruby bolts (e) to hit 100s with their specs frequently. Lots of people hunt it because of the really expensive drops. Why would the use and cost/availiability of the shields people wear affect them using ruby bolts to hunt the beast?? :wall: Anywho , On topic, it's not actually the best method, my mate's found an easier way involving certain vunerabilities to the beast so when these are known to the wider public people will start using less Ruby bolts. However in the short term maybe a small investment would be worthwhile lol. It's weak to stab attack, so a zammy spear is usefull. Shoot me for selling mine.

Very nice and detailed, and unlike some other guides you explain each room throroughly, as if you have done more then once (Hax0r). Also, where did you learn the Ruby Bolts (e) always hit 100 on him when they spec? And as a second note, thanks to rsof (also posted in this forums) all materials needed can be looted from the corpse in the cave in the real world.

I got lucky one time I came back (after dying) and just snuck to the 1st roots north of the entrance and managed to chop away getting about 10 of the logs before it saw me. A hint on the other thread did suggest to fill all the pyres before lighting any of them -- and thats a very good idea really. After the 1st two pyres get lit the shots fire very fast with more little white ghosties coming out of them. A good method I found for dodging the attacks is go head straight for them. Mage protect ~seemed~ to limit the damage but maybe I imagined it. That worked for me in my second attempt, 3rd attempt barely started before it shot at me. Figured out a way to do it though, run as soon as he shoots a bit away from what your chopping, wait for him to shoot then chop wood, all before the first shot even lands, as soon as he shoots start moving so his shot is always were you just left. ALso, to avoid his attacks I just went 'round and 'round, got annoying for finishing up my last pyre. Thanks to my brother I can't play anymore today so I'll try to finish it tomorrow and see if the other parts are as easy as the quest writer made them out to be.

I have lots of trouble avoiding the mage attacks, and I'm only in the first room. It takes me one try per lighting a pyre. I can barely chop a piece of wood before he sends another attack, great guide but you make it sound too easy.

30-35 minutes? I thought you needed to wait 4 hours before selling it again... that is if the buying and selling of the item exceeds the amount you're allowed to buy/sell in 4 hours I'm assuming you won't tell us what it is. Anyways, at 65 mage I tried killing giant rock crabs for charms, I took 500 casts of fire bolt, came out with a failure, the crabs kept moving away, they shall fear the minotaur next time. edit: Forgot to add the picture itself

Or try one of the RSOF clan chats for stars like the chat Star Find. we spent like an hour working then had like 3 stars being mined at the same moment. They get organized and make lists of stars and such. SOmetimes I help by scoping, sometimes I just lurk and mine any star that crashes there.

Its just wrong. Let me start by saying - ITS AGAINST THE RULES. With that covered I'll elaborate my thoughts (hard to do on a Wii). The G.E works on the rule of Supply Vs. Demand. By one person altering the balance, we suffer, G.E doesnt work how it should, and demand owns supply. It IS the rich get richer, which for some ok, like merchants, who merely ride the natural wave which in most cases actually stableize (SP, I know) it. Price manipulators on the other hand take their 500m dollar Cruise ship and make waves that screw up everything. If monkfish were to be manipulated, it would be the hardest hitting manipulation. Many people use monkfish as a staple food, using it for slayer, lower boss (KBD, Mole, masses), PvP games and such. Then again, its traded so much that its hard for it to be affected.

+1, the KB never said we cant do that, and It's not bug abuse in the way I see it, Its as much bug abuse as Flag Holding, and by that I mean, sucks for the rest of the people, takes the fun out of a game (If overdone), and theres nothing to stop it.
